Galilio 2000mAh Extended Slim Battery - EVO Shift 4G Accessories

I just bought a Galilio 2000MaH battery, and I wanted to share with you all what a great value it is. After a full drain and charge, I got an additional 4-5 hours out of my phone than I normally did with moderate to heavy usage
For $15, I can use my phone far more than I could with the stock battery.
Running CM7 with stock kernel.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150594275802?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
The reason some people report poor battery life from the extended battery is because its likely they didn't drain/charge the battery up before evaluating.
If you have any questions I'd love to be of assistance

Looks good.
Imagine the life you'd get with Scarykernel Stable, 200mhz min, 1.5ghz max and Scary governor.

ummm
No offense but that doesnt look like much use or that great battery life. I can run shoutcast using winamp 4 or 5 hours straight with bluetooth on also s little web page time and hsve 30 to 40% nattery left. If bored let your phone down n do the same. I have the chicitec 1550 that htcexpress falsley advertises as a 1900

I recently bought the galileo and i noticed only about 10% more life using it versus the stock battery. I cant complain for the 6$ i spent on it. I mostly dont like the fact that it doesn't have the temperature readings.

It's actually slightly less than a stock battery not more, but for $6 it's a great deal I have 2!

63 cents
sears.com has a supposed 2000 mha for .63., $2.52 shipping i think.
mine shipped today.
probably more like a 1550 overstated deal like the rest lol. if it's 1750 i'd be amazed.
*Shipped on 6th arrived on the 8th not too shabby.
Charging now we'll see

same
Charged the Sears 2000 (lol) it took 4208 mv's according to battery calibration app, about the same as my chicitec 1900 (lol). I think they're both 1550's. A bit better than stock.

I bought 2 Galilio "2000mAh" batteries and, on a tip from someone else, peeled the labels of to see that both were stamped 1000mAh by whoever manufactured them.
They work, but don't last nearly as long as stock. Maybe they use different batteries and throw there labels on them? I don't know, just know there's a risk.

bought one. fully charged/discharged about 6 times, averaging around 10 hours. my stock battery got at least 12 hours.
i think i got a dud.

Portable charger

Can someone please suggest a decent portable charger that I can use to keep my HD2 running for 5 days without mains power?
At the moment I charge it once a day.
Either AA Powered or with a large internal battery
Thanks
Hi,
I've got this one:
dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18883
it has an adaptor for micro-usb. You can use itself for charging the lithium battery.
and also, when I need more time I carry more batteries:

Not quite as powerfull as some of the previous suggestion but recharges my HD2 2 and a bit times if Im not using it while on charge.
The tips and chargers are all cross compatible with their other products which I also use (powergorilla for my netbook) and its small enough to carry around!
I'll suggest an i-walk U20 5400mAh, it charges the HD2 about 4 1/2 times. perfect for long days out or when going camping etc. also has a powerful torch.

Mine cost about £44, but it's totally worth it. I just don't trust those chargers running on 2xAA batteries
I bought this one plus a couple of AA size 2200mAh rechargeable battery, can be used for 4-5 days ouside

HTC HD7 3500 mAHExtended Life Battery with Replacement Back Cover (pictures)

Hi
Just Pictures for now will try to post usage sometimes later
Anyone else got these? feedback would be appreciated
UK EABY
HIGH EXTENDED 3500mAH Battery for HTC HD 7 HD7 + Cover
Ordered from the Above link
As you can see it spoils the beauty of the HD7 but I guess its worth it only if you plan to use your phone for a long day trip or something if you are taking photos.
Its China made and looks like hand made, bit rough if you know what I mean, still wondering whether I should use it or not, as I don't really use my HD7 that much

Holy cow! that looks ugly hehe!
good lord thats immense! what sort of life do you get out of that thing?
Trust me.
I Just put it in and took it out straight away. It made my sexy phone look horrendous.
I rather have low battery life then carry that around so that battery is lying in the corner unless someone wants to buy it off
That is ugly as hell.
But I can see it being useful if you go hiking or biking a lot; you would get a lot of GPS-mapping done with that battery and the phone itself could just be attached to your bike or your bag. You wouldn't want it in your pocket though.
bought that same battery from a vendor here in the US... The phone doesn't seem to "recognize" it's larger capacity... all system info/system view apps still show the batt as the 1230 maH... once the battery indicator goes low, and the orange LED starts flashing and the low battery warning pops up, I can shut down the phone, pull and re-insert the battery, power it back on and it shows about 50% battery again for a couple hours...
I have it.
I have this battery, i can stay up for 4 days without charging it, but when it goes down to drain level and orange light comes up i have to take the battery off and start phone again to see the battery's rest of the capacity left. I use Deepshining V2.0 and i use the phone with wifi once a day to pick up new apps but i don't talk much. Overall i am OK with it despite the phone doesn't see full capacity
Ugly son of a b'tch.

[REVIEW] Generic 1500mah Standard Battery from eBay

For a whopping $8.59, I decided to try one of those generic Korean-made 1500mah "standard" battery and wall charger combos from eBay and thought I'd do a review on them, since I've seen a few people ask. You can get them from Hong Kong sellers with 2 batteries for about the same price I paid for a single battery and charger, but this seller ships from the US (Brooklyn, NY) and it only took 3 days to get here vs 3-4 weeks from China.
Here's the product I bought

And here's just the battery
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1500mAh-Bat...962906?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item5646336d5a
This is actually a surprisingly decent combo. The charger is no speed demon, but it definitely does the job and charges the 1500mah along with the stock 1440mah to 100%. The battery itself, is QUITE surprising. So much so, that I ordered another one. I would say it's at least in line with the stock battery. The phone's been off the charger for 9 hours and 33 minutes and is currently at 34% after pretty heavy usage (screen on a little over 1/4 brightness, surfing the web in Opera for 3 hours total, about 30 text messages, reading emails periodically, made a few changes to the calendar, farted around on and downloaded 4 apps from the market, made some widget and homescreen changes, took 3 10 minute phone calls and did 2 full nandroid backups in CWM).
This is quite surprising, as these generic batteries usually end up sucking pretty badly. I just hope it's longevity is equally impressive. I have a feeling it's life-span isn't going to be quite as long as the stock battery, but for $9 WITH a charger, I won't feel too bad if it's not.
Went to go buy the battery by itself:
This Buy It Now listing has ended.
if you really want at ebay they sell original battery for less..

They're either fakes, or refurbs. You can find the stock battery, but not for $5. I bought one and didn't realize until it was too late, its a refurb (i.e. used) and it wouldn't hold a charge.

This Gadget Is a Handheld "Power Plant"

No release date as of yet but I'll be on the look out for this... Priced at $9.99. UPDATE. CONFLICTING PRICES. THE CORES WOULD SEEM TO SELL FOR $9.99 BUT THE UNIT IS $299! NOT PRACTICAL AT ALL.
UPDATE: THE CORES ARE NOT RECHARGEABLE. THAT'S A LET DOWN FOR ME. HOWEVER, I DO SEE THE MARKET FOR THIS.
When we say "two weeks to a month" of power, we're referring to the ability to charge your phone (tested on an iPhone 5) once a day for two weeks. But for people who charge their phone around 20% battery life (instead of when the phone is completely dead), like many people, the charge would last about a month. That's where those numbers come from.

Much appreciated on the heads up, I need this. Ingress just won't be the same again.
Maybe they are leading us down a path whereby we can get much, much better batteries that fit in the stock battery compartment using the stock battery backplate, and allow us to use normal case solutions.
So you pay ten bucks for a 55 watt hour battery that can only be thrown away after charge depletion? That's really stupid and who the foch would buy this? 6x18650 and a $20 case is just much better.

Plus, its a gas filled battery. Hopefully it was drop and heat tested... You get main unit for $300 and need to continue buying $10 refills to keep it "charged" up. Hmm, not feeling it yet.

I could see it working for people who hike a lot or camp or do long bike tours with no access to electricity but... $300? yikes.

6500MAH Battery - Scam or real deal?

I would wanna see how much size it adds.
This is a Question I would also like to see someone answer.
After buying 3 different types of battery for my old note 2 that didnt give any more of a power boost than my original battery, I am pretty skeptical about extended batteries at this point.
Fake. If it says 6500mah, its not. Best case scenario, maybe 4000mah. Will it last longer than stock 3000mah? Very likely. BUT... it won't be twice as long but the battery is >2x the stock size.
might be true. i mean its possible. but it will most likely make the phone around the battery area double in width...so not worth

of course its possible there are a lot of externe battery its very little and more 5400... then why not
If it is not physically larger in size, or heavier in weight. Then it is going to be around the same capacity as the stock battery. From my experience, most aftermarket batteries are not going to perform as well as OEM no matter the brand. Manufactures are good at making the most out of their battery size. The only way for you to get more capacity would be to get a battery that is physically larger in size, or a new and better battery chemistry.
I found This one :
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/Super-Capacity-Business-3-8V-7000mAh-Li-ion-BL-51YF-Battery-For-LG-G4-H818-H819-/262010074491?var=&hash=item3d0104757b:m:mnTW8myEolwGEIyniHHw1OQ
rather than searching for a big, giant, very heavy battery, why not just focus on what you can do to the phone to cause it to run cooler and use battery slower, my stock LG battery lasts 2 days on a charge because I have software to limit what apps are running in the background and to back down the CPU speed when not in use!

damn that looks sick wonder how it feels with the extended backside and whatnot
6000mAh
All those ones like that are actually 6000mAh batteries.
If you check the dimensions, they are double the thickness.
Double the thickness = double the capacity, it literally is as simple as that.
There is no magical new battery tech that only some generic company has to add in extra mAh to their batteries.
They are all Li-Ion batteries.
That said, check out the reviews here for ZeroLemon and MPJ, both have been extensively tested by XDA members and have multiple well written reviews here.
They both also give you every mAh they state in their description.
You can not go wrong with either of them.
Stay away from the brands that have skeptical claims of capacity, remember equal increase in size and capacity. (Generally)
Sometimes there is less capacity gain than there is size gain, that depends on the quality of the cells used in the battery.
