Has anyone got a Gmail apk where the notification is the colour gmail icon ?
i have tried modding my own but after modding it the app disapears from app draw and doesnt work

So I'm in the process of changing my icons and am using CM7. So far everything works but when I change the browser, Google voice, and the phones icon they all force close.
But also when I change Contacts.apk it changes the phones iconas well. Help me pleaseeee

am looking 4 a widget where once u press on it, it will disappear the applications from the drawer & screen where u choose it in the list.
and once u press on it, it will show the applications where it disappeared b4

Not something as simple as what you describe...but Audio Manager will hide apps from drawer. In market...free.
I'm using Darky Rom 10.2 atm and it's just perfect except for one thing. I don't like the samsung style sms app with the text bubbles.
Is it possible to replace that app with the stock android sms app like the one in cyanogenmod 7?
I tried replacing the mms.apk in system\app with the one from CM7 and it works but when I open the settings it force closes. Also the messaging icon isn't in the dock anymore when i replace the mms.apk and I would like to still have that.
Handcent would be an option if the messaging icon in the dock could launch that app. Right now it only launches the default app and ignores all the others.

You could try Go SMS. In my opinion it's the best SMS-app.

Oh thanks that's such an awesome app. Any idea on how I can edit the TWlauncher dock shortcut to launch gosms instead of the samsung styled app?
Edit: figured out how to edit the dock.
One final question, is it possible to edit the icon of certain apps and possibly even the name?

Is there any app to change icons in statusbar without using the computer? I already tried ROM Toolbox Pro, but it's stuck at installing new icon (It loads about 3 hours, so it can be just a error or it's stuck). Please just post if you have found an app (and yes I searched a hour in the play store but found nothing).

Hi there, I'm trying to set up a google now based home screen, but I'm left with one problem. Using Apex launcher I can't figure out how to change from a black folder background to a white one. Does anyone know of a file to change or an app to install to sort it out?
