[Q] Complete Brick?

At first i'm sorry for my bad english.
So,
i wanted to flash my x8. I got a backup, and i wanted to restore the backup. But at the half of the "restore-process", my battery was empty. Now my x8 can't boot. Only the Sony Ericsson logo is on the screen. I can't get to xRecovery. What can I do? Or is my phone complete broken?

i used the flashtool
now i got another problem. I flashed a new rom on my x8, but now it doesn't freeze at the sony ericsson logo, but it reboots after the logo. It doesn't boot until CM7 bootanimation. What's now the problem?

Tried a full wipe?

Try to do a full wipe (Factory reset) at xRecovery Maybe it's because you upgrade it from 2.1 / 2.2 to 2.3

Search the forums to recover you phone.Use search button.I've bricked my phone 4times.No problem

if ur phone got brick or something..just use the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) and it will be as good as new.. ^^

Hah,i bricked my phone just once.use sony ericsson update service.it will fix your phone.just root it again and install xrecovery again.

I use pc companion to repair my device and then start the root process and custom rom again. As you seem to be a little inexperienced and dont take that as an insult, i will advise not to use FIX PERMISSION in CWM Recovery, that recovery comes with a few roms now and the FIX PERMISSION option will brick your phone.

I recommend reading through the root guide twice over.

I got Xperia X8 E15i with custom rom gingerDX v013. When I rebooted my phone, it gets stock on [Sony Ericsson]. I can't even go to xrecovery. Even I tried to wait for too long, no improvements happened. Please help about this! What shall I do?

Did you updated your Baseband to xxx15?

Yes! I already used my phone with gingerDX v013. I'm installing some app in the market. Then I rebooted it, get stock on [Sony Ericsson] screen. :|

Download SEUS Sony Ericsson new version
Then recover it to Normal

[Q] HELP! xperia x8 stuck on sony ericsson logo

Hello People.
the problem, some time ago i installed froyo custom rom, somebody told me that he preffer ginger custom, and something like an hour i installed ginger,
for that i installed clockwork recovery using the x8 toolbox,
with recovery installed ginger, and it worked fine.
then i see that tool box let me install busybox, and installed busibox 1.19
that was stupid, when i reboted my xperia x8 get stuck on sony ericsson logo.
i tried using seus "there is no software for your phone"
tried something like 3,4 times...
then tried to flash with x10 flasher, to 1.6, and to 2.1.1
no one worked, really don't know what to do now :/
I have backup made from recovery, but i can't get into recovery using "back botom", or i'm doing it wrong?

you are doing something wrong, that's pretty clear.
First of all, define "stuck" sometimes you might have to wait for about 5 minutes...
Second, SEUS with phone closed - to install again rom, will not say- there is no software...will just flash new one over what you have...provided you have it installed in the computer with the correct drivers...
Problem that appears to be : you lost root rights by changing busybox. What you could do, was to root again...using same x8toolbox...

Hi, I have the same issue.. I reinstalled busybox and rebooted my phone and it stuck on sony ericsson logo for 3 hours and counting...
can you help me how to use SEUS? I can't even go to xrecovery.. help me pls.. thanks

hey...i desperately need some help, i installed existenz_ultra custom mod a few months ago but after that i tried to unroot my phone and install stock firmware using sony pc companion(read it on a forum) the phone wont start now, it starts, shows the xperia logo then the colored ribbon,thats about it the colors fade and it restarts..please help me

Have you tried repairing the phone using PC companion?
Failing that you can flash a stock rom using flashtool, there is an old guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2658952
