[Q]Extract boot.img on Windows - LG Optimus 2x

I cant extract boot.img using unyaffs.exe.. it said "broken image file".. hurmm, what does it means?
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA App

It's not a yaffs filesystem.

Yeah I doubt you'll get far trying this. Maybe you could do it via Cygwin.

Ok.. i have this file, " ergoen-LG-Optimus-2x-linux-kernel-c9f61c".. so, i really dont know where to start.. is it possible to do all this using Windows platform?

Pulling the Boot.img ...

I would like to pull my boot.img from my Nook, but my questions are 1) is it possible 2) is so, how do I do it?
I have looked on Nookdev and searched with google. I have found the stock boot.img, but since I am using a modified rom I would like to start with that.
Is the ramdisk.img what I am looking for in a rom? Wondering because that's what SDK is using

You should be able to either adb pull it or dd on the actual phone.
adb pull /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 boot.img
or
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1 of=/sdcard/boot.img
* and by phone, I mean tablet
Thanks, give it a shot when I get home.

[Q] Mobile ODIN

Hello everyone.
I want to flash Indian firmware, but my PC crashed. Mobile ODIN seemed a perfect solution, but there's no compatibily yet for our device.
Is there anyone who know when our device will become compatible or is anyone working on a similar project?

Better to stay away from such softwares..flash the normal way.. that way you're atleast sure of doing everything right.. why not use a friends laptop or something? the whole process takes hardly 15mins...

B2c app is not an installable file. Download a fresh copy from LG website, extract, double click and you can use it.
In case you face further issues, post more details.
