Okay after a lot of searching I didn't find anything useful and now I want little help from you guys..
I have *.ftf file of stock 2.1.1.c.0.0 rom. I want to make some modifications in that rom. So how do I extract it and then make it a CWM flashable zip ?
Somebody can give a detailed info or any link to that guide which I might have missed during search ?
Unpack ftf with win rar but for sin files in there i dont know

Extract them using ftfextractor, hust follow the build rom tutorial by I think NeroYoung

Full wiping doesn't delete the odex files.

This only for non odexed rom.
What if the rom maker odexed the rom

you must deodex all apk and jar on system/app and system/framework.. use xultimate or dsixda kitchen..
using xultimate can deodex with installation rom on your phone.. using dsixda u must deodexing before u install rom.. extract rom >> deodexing >> build rom..

use PCC to restore stock rom/kernel
Here is it (Firmwares folder).
As fotak-x says above, you can use PC Companion or SEUS if your intention is restore your phone.
Or check my Sig....

I flashed a zip file like miui and pure audio... It flashes successfully but cant see it im the menu.... Am using cm10.1

Are you sure if they contain .APK files? Upload them so I can check it.

I can extract it from your firmware, just download and extract.
You can also flash the stock firmware via Odin, this way you'll get the stock kernel.
