Okay after a lot of searching I didn't find anything useful and now I want little help from you guys..
I have *.ftf file of stock 2.1.1.c.0.0 rom. I want to make some modifications in that rom. So how do I extract it and then make it a CWM flashable zip ?
Somebody can give a detailed info or any link to that guide which I might have missed during search ?
Unpack ftf with win rar but for sin files in there i dont know

X8 and W8 are the same.Same country prefer X8, while other country called it W8.My country called it W8 but I flashed that before and my W8 became a X8 Both modules are the same.

yeah you are right of course you unbrick your w8 with x8 ftf file...!! but why you made this thread "w8 ftf file" ..!! when x8 ftf file can solve your problem...why you need it badly...!!
Because I can't find X8 ftf file even...
& read the posts..

use PCC to restore stock rom/kernel
Here is it (Firmwares folder).
As fotak-x says above, you can use PC Companion or SEUS if your intention is restore your phone.
Or check my Sig....

Yes whenever,I come back to stock I too use it only. After all X8 and W8 are the same phones. X8 is Xperia branded and W8 is Walkman branded.

I can extract it from your firmware, just download and extract.
You can also flash the stock firmware via Odin, this way you'll get the stock kernel.
