Hi guys,
I am running miui on my nook and recently changed to a lockscreen theme that won't recognize my attempts at dragging the bar down.
Is there any way I can get into the device or change the lockscreen without flashing the rom all over again?
Thanks!

I assume you tried rebooting?
You could always do a factory reset. I dunno why you'd not want to reflash the room, that doesn't wipe your days.

I got this problem when I tried to install the black bar mod. Unfortunately I couldn't get fixed without flashing back to stock and installing sre2 again

Try deleting the launcher data from the app manager (if you can use the menu system?)...

Thanks I ended up pushing launcher pro via adb. Thank goodness debug was on. The launcher getting courupt is the one bad thing with android. Because without root /debug you are toast. It has happened on my captivate and I had to master clear.

FC with ADW launcher
Hi I have a rooted huawei U8120 running on the pro celestial V2 rom. I changed my theme on the ADW launcher to the gingerbread theme, now I keep getting a FC message. I can not access my menu and for some reason i can not boot in recovery mode. Please help!!
Trade it in for a Nook Color
I'm currently using the latest Cognition rom on my captivate. I'm thinking of switching to phoenix rom because of the themes that are available. However, since I'm relatively new to roms, I cannot decide if I should switch. Can you guys give me some pros and cons of switching?

Well what kind of themes are you looking at? Cog has some cool ones.
I was thinking of a black theme

Look up Darkness v2.5 in Themes and Apps.
I tried flashing that using CWM two days ago, but it made my phone freeze every time I unlock it. It then proceeds to automatically turn off the screen and back on again, repeating the freezing.

Go with firefly ... It was made by the same dev team that made phoenix but has an awesome app with a lot of themes (including a black ang white one) and mods that you can download directly from there. Super convenient.

Did you clear cache and Dalvik?
Also, look in the Torch thread at post #2. Monochrome theme there is all black and white and *SHOULD* work with Cognition, as both are KB1 based. Worst that can happen is you're put in an endless boot animation, but even that probably won't happen.
How do you clear the cache and Dalvik?

In recovery ... Cache is in the main menu. Dalvik is in the advanced menu.
Note: after doing this the next boot will take a LONG time. Don't panic it's normal it's rebuilding those caches you just wiped.
Ok thanks

Nope, still no luck. I cleared all the cache and Dalvik cache then reflashed the theme. However, it still did the same thing, which is freezing whenever I unlock the phone, then turning off the screen and repeats.
Any other themes that support cognition v4?

I need some help,im running mosaic 7 but for some reason I have no notification pulldown or status bar. I've tried everything but have had no luck at getting them back, does anyone have any ideas?

Tried everything?
Too vague. If you tried everything it would be working
What have you tried?
What I would do is grab the /systemui.apk from /system/app in mosaic zip and push it to/system/app with adb, or you could paste it in with a root file explorer on your phone.
then reboot.
Btw this should have been asked in the mosaic q&a thread, a new thread for a ROM specific question just clutters up the forums.
Have u tried swiping the screen down or up. Some launchers have built in to take away the not bar and bottom drawer .

Not sure but I believe if try to sign in half a dozen times or so it will allow to assign a new password.

But on another note IF YOU TOOK THE TIME TO SEARCH you would find that there are a couple of ways around the security features BUT you have to know how to use adb commands

do a backup in cwm recovery backup. then do a cwm factory reset, then in the fresh new clean cm9 use an app that will allow you to extract apps and data from the recovery. i use the app manager that came with rom toolbox pro. but its a paid for app i dont know if the lite version has that feature. but if you dont have rom toolbox pro you should. the app manager will let you restore any app, app+data or just data from the apps in your cwm backup. problem solved.
this is something I wrote for the lock pattern, but it will apply to any other lock method
