Does anyone know where the right value for the screen off animation in roms
like Overcome or MIUI is?
I think it's in the framework but don't know where exactly.
There are two files, "lock_screen_enter.xml" and "lock_screen_exit.xml"
in /framework/res/anim. Is that possible that these are the files?

I remember with some of the early Expresso ROMs, there was a boot animation for the G1 that was a resized version of the Motorola Droid's bot screen, sound effect and all. Does anyone know where to find this?
That would be badass

Try to find a copy of the expresso ROM and stuff it in whatever ROM you're using and sign/reflash.
how can i make it ?
Please elaborate more so that others can help you
i want to build my own bootscreen.. like the stock perception boot screen.. i already did my picture on the same dimensions renameed as 10001.png added as bootanimation.zip but it doesnt work
Bootanimations are more than just images (png's), they require "instructions" on what to do with them. The easiest way for you to do what you want would be to replace the png's in an existing one with your image
So I've been able top find everything else I needed to find but I can't seem to find the stock lockscreen files in the framework-res.apk.
Could anyone tell me what I'm missing please?
Define "stock".
lol yeah sorry I meant the AOSP lockscreen.
EDIT: I just don't know what files I'm looking for.
They have "jog" in the filename. In framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi.
Thanks, once again Mikey.
Hello to everyone! I'm new in this forum. I've got a samsung galaxy 5 with cyanogenmod 7.2 and i notice that the fade effect when unlocking the screen (NOT THE TV EFFECT) is disabled in cm 7.2,while it was in cyanogemod 7.1. I posted the same post in madteam forum (search "fade effect on cm 7.2 lockscreen on MadTeam forum because i can't post outside links) but no one know how to do. Anyone can help me? Thanks in advance
Anyone knows how to fix it? Please!
Same problem on the G2/Vision.
Also, before the screen time's out, normallye the brightness smoothes a bit down. This is also gone in CM7.2.
Must be something in the framework-res package i think.
On the other side, we now got the fabulous looking ICS rotate animations!

The way you made your changes? just with 7zip or winrar unpack the apk en put the old animations into it, then place it back on your phone? or did you recompile the apk with a tool?

Hi! In theese days we can't change the overscroll animation of the newer android ersions. On CM7 it was possible to use the bounce overscroll animation (like 2.2.1), but CM9, CM10 and CM10.1 can't do this. Prestigio and other "no name" phones are coming with this animation, and I was wondering about is it just changeable in the framework?
Yeah it can be changed with framework Modding and uot.dakra.lt can help you

I got the part of the overscroll. But I found no way to make it bouncing back
For that purpose you have to mod xml files
