SU660 is the Korean Optimus 2X, not the European which is P990.

And what does it mean? is it usable for us (with lg optimus 2x?

The rom wont function correctly as it'll be using the korean O2x kernel (different button layout etc~) but the baseband could be of use to us

Could anyone upload and post baseband and RIL only, please?

Problems upgrading from 2.2 to 2.3

Heloo,i have a problem with my Lg Optimus 2X(P990) and i hope you can help me : last year in december i saw in rom manager-download rom CyanogenMod and I tried it,but i haven't done the backup of original program (Android 2.2Froyo).When I wanted to come back to original android I did not have what to come back and i started to look for a similar version of android to the internet and i found on this site a few versions , i downloaded this version : BIN_LGP990AT-00-V20l-EUR-XX-OCT-20-2011+0,and i instaled with smartflash p990 after a tutorial that i found on youtube ,it works but my problem is when i want to upgrade to 2.3.3 or 2.3.4 it doesn't let me do it,it says : "Software update is not suported for this model" and "Select the Contact button to contact for lg Mobile Phone Software Update online ".
How can i fix this problem ?? can anyone help me with this ???
On his back,under batery, it says that it was made in Korea.

You need to downgrade your baseband.

can you tell me why? also ive just started using CM7 (version .87 by temasek) i used a LITE kernel and still using the default (RIL)(baseband) that came with my fone. ( 1035.21_20110725 ) can u tell me. is there better one matched or unmathed that would give me better battery..

LG updater is crap, so you should flash v20q with smartflash or v20r kdz or v20r cwm rebuild by Flix123. Btw v20l is 2.3.4.

[Q] How to Root LG P970G running 2.3.4

Just got a new LG phone, previously I owned an LG Optimus X2 (P999) but it ain't supported by my new telecommunications provider as they use different HSPA network.
In any event. I want to Root my LG Optimus BLACK (P970G) from Koodo Mobile.
Model: LG-P970g
OS: 2.3.4
Baseband: XMM6160
Kernel: 2.6.35
Build: GRJ22
Software: LG-P970g-V20j
I tried OCR in Auto mode and Gingerbreak, but no luck. Phone still ain't rooted and on Auto it will get to step #7 and just freeze for hours on. Any suggestions how to root this phone + put on CWM

try CWM injection method? althogh it didnt work for me... or use snegoviks SFT rooted binnaries

Root for Gingerbread 2.3.5 JVK

Probably you can help me with mine problem. Last week I updated my SGS i9000 with odin. My Device information now:

- Baseband: I9000NEJVB
- Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9000NEJVK-CL649158 [email protected] #2
- Build No.: GINGERBREAD NEJVK
I like to root my phone because I have done a backup with Titan. The last time I used cf-root and I found there a right version (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108). Today probably I'm to stupid or I don't find a version which I can flash.
I tried to flash: CF-Root-XX_OXA_JVK-v2.7-CWM3RFS.zip - But after the WIFI was not working anymore

[Q] Optimus 2X p990 with CM7 Temasek airplane mode automatic problem!!!

My phone has a problem. Automatically enter airplane mode. What can I do to stop this happening? The phone has specifications in signature. Please help!
