Here in Finland ISP called DNA started support HD voice on its 3G network. [article]
Does my Samsung Galaxy S I support HD voice or not? My current Android OS is v4.1.2. In the finnish article by puhelinvertoilu.com wrote that the HD voice support is in Samsung Galaxy S III, iPhone 5, newest Lumia and the hottest new Android phones.
So, is this HD voice depend on software or hardware? And if the answer is YES, how and where I put it on? Cannot find any values on menu. Dial code maybe (*#*#weird#*#*)?
Seems there is trick to enable HD Voice on Samsung Galaxy S II: http://eng.samaanetwork.com/?p=8692. The tricks seems to find right radio and then after calling to number *#*#197328640#*#*, choose 7 (WB Arm) on list. And in same breath I have to say, that I do not have SGS II and haven't test above.
Hope there are similar trick for Samsung Galaxy S too. My current radio is JVT.
Hi
When I briefly had a Sony P running ICS there was a very useful "guest" mode available - that limited access to apps - is there an equivalent with the Samsung Tab 8.9 in ICS?
Thanks
James
Hi,
I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 LTE. It has Lollipop but I can't add users because the face icon in the notification tray and the "add users" option are missing from my device. My question is how can I add users to my device?
Thanks in advance
Samsung has disabled the multi user feature of android on our device. However, if you're rooted there seems to be a way to reactivate it. Look for a guide in this forum in some of the threads with multi user in the title.
E.g. here.
I'm thinking about getting a Galaxy tab S2 9.7 (T813) and rooting it, but it is quite important to me that the kernel supports user-id rules in its iptables (e.g. as used by firewall applications like Droidwall).
Can anyone who has rooted their T813 tell me if Droidwall (or equivalent) works as expected?
Thanks!!

Yes, it does.
The rooted T813 supports any of the compatible firewall applications to manage access to the WiFi interface.
Contemplating the purchase of a Gear S3 Frontier. The 3T isn't listed as a compatible device. Does anyone have experience with the 3T working with this smartwatch?
"Sync the Gear S3 with your compatible Galaxy phone, or another Android phone"
You will get most of the features working:
8 Compatible with select devices using Android 4.4 and later with at least 1.5GB RAM. Supported devices may vary by carrier and device. Some features may not be available. For best results, connect with compatible Samsung Galaxy devices.
9 Call experience may vary depending on manufacturer.
10Some Android phones limited on text reply, call back from text, and read notification check from phone.
11 No email sync capability for non-Samsung phones.

Email sync isn't as important as email notifications to me. Hopefully someone knows if email notifications work. I have a pebble time steel currently and I love it, unfortunately, pebble is now a dying smartwatch. So I'm looking to the future for another smart watch whos support wont be leaving us anytime soon.
