I'm on FuguMod ultra and very happy
Flash cm7 and you will never ever need a lag fix

i thought you can just convert your rfs to ext4, that should be enough, no? o.o
I dont like the cm7 camer app... Samsung default is way better.

Agreed... But then again, there are always a lot of free Market alternatives to consider.

Galaxy Note Launcher Lag

Hi, does anyone have any tips as to how I can eliminate the lag on my Note when using other launchers? Every single launcher apart from stock is laggy. I'm using GB and don't want to flash any ICS rom yet because they're mostly buggy. Thanks.

My phone is rooted. I've frozen all the dumb apps. Does it make a difference if I remove them completely?

[STOCK] Music lag and GPS bug in stock ROM?

I think stock is best stable, but it not really!
I flash via Odin dkt6, dxktn wxkt6, both is lag with music and problem with GPS
In GPS, I use ktux cm7 before, but it fast battery drain, and stock is very good with this, in cm7, it take only <10s to find satellite and fix location on stress, but in stock, it take ~3m to fix. In house, stock can't fix location while cm7 can. => is this stock baseband bug?
In music, it so good, but when multi task, or exit game, get apps FC, etc,... music being lag with broken sound in ~0.2s. In cm7 official and rc5, it happen too. But in cm7 mebitek or ktux, it very good, no lag while CPU is 122
About camera, I can't replace enomW camera with power shuttle function with it. I try to replace camera.apk and camera.odex but the apps disappeared!

The gps problem is always a baseband problem! Make sure you choose the right firmware for your country!!

H'm, I don't remember how long for stock before, but I think ktux GPS is ok, 5s to fix location. But I hear he fix from mebitek, he pure from stock, so I don't know why stock is longer time!
P/s: in cm7 ktux, I put camera with GPS option, but the image is "location: unknown" why?

More features like bigmem, touchwake, more governors etc but when i overclock on semaphore the odd app will crash.
i read that the crashed by live oc are caused of the low voltage you must toogle the voltage ... can sema kernel have a longer battery life ?

Same as stock (battery life). Increasing the voltage is at risk, and cause a decrease battery life!
Each other kernel except Stock is unnecessary (in my opinion)! :fingers-crossed: I don't see any advantage
sorry my english is not the best so you say these kernels like sema kernel are not necessary stock is good ?

[Q] internal auto task manager/killer

I just flashed GingerDX v031b ROM to my X8. I installed some apps like Facebook, WeChat, GO SMS Pro, etc.
They are always running in the background. So I think there is no internal auto task manager on my phone. Where can I get one?
(Sorry for my English. I'm new.)
First root, and then use chef freezer(search on gp),and select apps u don't want to run and freeze.. do no use task killer..
Remember after u freeze facebook or else, it will disappear. U need to unfreeze it.
Use Greenify. It's the best app for hibernating background apps automatically
