One problem with cm7 is that it never went out of beta. I am not confortable with anything beta.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1328177
tried it now... superb performance... purely stock official firmware...

I don't think RC3 has touch to focus.
But if it does:
Start the camera app and click on the settings icon (top right) and the focus mode is the first option you can change.
that's right...
I'm on CM 6.0 and it works

correct. i am assuming you have a different recovery, so just flash that one, like you said.
Just ran this script on my CM9'd 8.9.
It's amazing. Scrolling lag is gone, 'sticky' scrolling is gone. I can load up engadget and the whole website is loaded from top to bottom, can scroll up and down it without waiting for anything to load it's so smooth.
Best of all, press the home button and it doesn't keep having to redraw widgets.
Go install V6 Supercharger now people.
Go.

There you go mate, make sure you follow the ics only instructions on post #2 as well!
Its very simple, just make sure to install busy box 1.18.2. Any other version won't work.

As nice as the hubs are, I'd use a custom rom over the stock any day of the week. The stock roms just too slow and laggy, makes the hubs useless. I'd rather have a smooth device...yeah it means using crappy apps like plume and friendcaster, but gets the job done...

Been searching for more information on this on xda and the Internet. I was able to gather the files (not sure if it is all) but I could get it to work, Samsung Chinese keyboard, can write too. Works on a lite version based on Alba's rom. It worked on another Samsung based rom, but can't remember whuch one. Alba's full rom, I couldn't add one of the library file, so it FCed. One thing is for sure, I still can't get it to work on AOSP and CM9 roms. I even tried adding the Samsung keyboard files but still no go.

diopen chinese ime is the best for chinese input, especially in the newest version win which has 4 modes & support 4 languages:
qwerty keyboard, 3x4 keypad, handwriting box, full screen handwriting.
the language input is: simplified chinese, traditional chinese, english, korean.
