0.00kb Phone Memory.Help! - LG Optimus Black

Something wrong with my phone. It has 0 kb free space in phone memory on stock clear rom 10a. Factory defaults not change the situation. I trying install another rom(10b) trough KDZ updater, who tell me, that update complete and everything is ok.The phone reboot, and LG logo on screen looooong time(about 1-2 hours).I remove battary and phone is start on, but in "About phone" still 10a and 0 kb phone memory. Sorry for my bad english.

try factory reset in settings > privacy.

Eventually enter 3845#*970# to enter into Hidden Menu and do Hard Reset from there.

I did it all - no result

Humm how about to root it first, then install cm recovery 5, in recovery choose wipe data, cache partition and dalvik... then flash the rom again with kdz.
Dunno if it will work...

If it says there is no space, you can't install anything.
I had this problem but factory reset from hidden menu helped.

Try THIS METHOD. You have nothing to loose right now.

[q] Endless restart loop

I've had my sgs for almost 1 year , and except for rooting it i didnt rly fiddle with it .
On new years eve night i noticed my phone was closed, and when i tried to open it , it started going in this endless restart loop where it would show me the Galaxy S gt-i9000 start up screen and then restart.I pulled out the battery and the problem got fixed, but now it's happening again and it seems i cant fix it.
I read on the forums that this might indicate an internal sd card failure, and if thats the case is there any way of getting my data back?
Power the phone down then push the on button.
Then hold down the home key, the on key, and the left key in the down position and it will give you a fresh boot and upload the original settings.......
You will lose all your pics and numbers etc so I hope you have it backed up..

that will get you in the download mode...
If you are indeed rooted a last resort can be downloading the 2.3.5 stock rom from Sam mobile.. Put your phone into download mode as that guy said, there are lots of tutorials about this online then use odin to flash. As I say this is a last resort if nothing else works.

Use 3 button combo to recovery (Volume up + Home + Power) and do a factory reset and wipe cache. You will see them from the menu. You will not going to lose your personal data. You will just have to install the apps again.
At first don't make factory reset. Try first to wipe Cache, dalvik Cache and fix permissions (all from the recovery). If it doesn't help try flash new Rom (no wipe) or make factory reset. If this don't help either try flashing a 3 file Rom with pit and repartition.

Doing a factory reset won't wipe your pics and all.. it'll just wipe the 2GB partition that is used for rom and apps.. your pics are stored on the separate 6GB/14GB partition and that is not affected when you do a factory reset.. all your contacts, messages and applications etc will be wiped though..

If you have gone into recovery and cleared cache, dalvik cache and fixed permissions, then the only option available now is to factory reset in recovery. You will NOT lose any pictures or music on your sd card. You will however, lose your installed apps, their data, your phone numbers and messages. Hopefully you have your numbers backed up with google or at least stored on your sim.
If this doesn't work, you will need to flash a new rom with odin. It's a 5 minute job once you've downloaded everything required.

Did as you said and its still not working, because i still have my waranty il take it to the " pros" instead of flasing a new rom.
Only way is to flash a fresh stock rom via Odin since factory reset wouldn't work for you.

did a whipe and what was on the link dident fix it when i use rsd lite it gets to 3/18 and fails
What recovery are you using?
stock recovery cant get any other ones to work
Try this. Follow the directions in the OP. It'll take about 5 mins to get back to a box stock D3.

went to the link downloaded it, flashed it everything went good then phone restarts and everything is back to stock except the things i changed with rom manager and still resets everytime my phone turns off

Then ROM Manager is clearly the issue. That link gets you to box stock software. I'm not a fan of RM because I feel that unless 110% understood, it can cause way more headaches than it fixes. What do you use it for? What changes did you make after flashing to stock?
used rom manager to change battery icon 3g icon signal icon and the notification bar backround
I don't think that MavROM is compatible with Rom Manager tweaks. I believe that they only work with CM based ROMs. Try reflashing to stock, rerooting, and reROMing it. Don't make the changes and see if the issues persist.
i tried reflashing to stock like 10 times and it never fully goes back to stock
How about going to cwm through odin and deleting your catch data and your delv catch. I had the same issue when reverting back to stock ( it wasnt fully there) but when i erased all the data and delv catch it reverted to the stock rom properly. Just a thought

Well, the previous is strange, because I've used that to recover from all different causes of bricks and bootloops and reboots and etc. All took me back to box stock software...
Anyways, I would flash back to stock-ish with it, re-root, install CWM, boot into recovery, and then wipe /system /data /cache /dalvik cache.
Using X + Power then VOL Up + Down, you can get into stock recovery and wipe data and cache. This puzzles me though, because that quick SBF wipes data, system, and cache.
Just for my curiosity, what ISN'T stock after the quick unbrick method?

Oops, bumped Thanks trying to quote this. When the DOS-looking window prompts you to press any key to exit, and I'm assuming you do, do you let the phone go through it's process where the yellow bar inches across the screen and completes the reset?

Are you sure you have the latest drivers installed? Head over to that thread one more time, re-download the quick unbrick, boot up with M + Power, select AP Fastboot, open the shortcut for "CLICK HERE - Something something something", allow it to go through it's 20 or so lines of actions, and when it says to press any key to exit, do so. Now just let the phone sit there while still plugged in (IIRC, this is what I did last time). If this all fails to return you to stock settings... 1. I'll be surprised 2. I'll nand backup mine and make a video for you of quick unbricking mine and everything it does.
If it does work, please don't change things in ROM Manager, IIRC, those tweaks are only for CM based ROMs, and not Mav.

[Q] LG Optimus X2 root questions

hi there im new to root and stuff like that but i rooted my lg p990hn with SuperOneClick and the exploid was on auto. so then after that i instaled an unofficial cwm called 4.0.0.5-modaco-2x-clockworkmod after that i backed up the current rom i had that came with the phone. after that i installed a rom called NovaHD_Rebuild_v1.1.0 i wiped data/factory reset and cache partition i went throw all the steps and it installed all good untill i rebooted and was just at the lg blue and purple screen that was never there before.so i wanted to ask u guys how i can fix it. i tryed to use nvflash but i dont really know how to use its.so plz if ur still reading i would be soo happy if some 1 replyed. thankss and another thing is that i cant even restore the rom because there is a error mounting the system and when i try to mount the system in advance setting it wont even mount the same error
Relax, you will be able to recover your device. Our P990 is almost unbrickable.
Can you still get into recovery mode by switching on the phone pressing power button and the volume down? If yes, simply do a factory reset, wipe /system and /cache and dalvik. Then reinstall. If it ****s up your Phone again, download the ROM again. Might be a broken download.
If your phone seems to be really dead, you can recover it using NVFlash. Search the forums, it's been posted so many times. Keep in mind that you can only use ONE SINGLE command in one NVFlash Session. After that you have to plug out your phone and try again. Be careful. NVFlash can recover but also destroy your phone.
like above. you just need to be brave and stuff. no offence.
Advance Restore
ok so when i restore my back up i cant even do that when i try to do it it gives me an error saying that i cant mount /system and then i go to advance restore i can restore every thing else but system and the old blue splash screen is gone it was my old 1.

if you can enter recovery, wipe cache, dalvik cache, data . Under mounts and storage format system, then reflash the rom, just make sure the zip file was downloaded correctly.
WOOOOW u guys dont get it i have a problem with mounting the system i cant even restore my old rom because there is and error with mounting the system!!!!!!! and dont worry i know i have to whipe delvik cache etc.

[Q] How do I "Clear Cache" (Stock Recovery)

Hi all
Just unpacked my shiny new HTC One which is still on its initial charge fresh out the box. Im going to be updating it to 422, but my question is..
Like you do with Samsung Updates, after youve installed all the updates, is it a good idea to Boot into Stock recovery > Data/Factory Reset > Clear Cache > Reboot, or can I just "Factory Reset" in Settings.
You need to do this with Samsung devices because they are so full of Bloated crap all running in the background, that a clear cache is needed after a Rom update.. so is it the same. (This is why Ive switched to HTC and jumped the S4 altogether)
How do I get into Stock Recovery to reset/clear cache
Thanks

you can't clear cache with stock recovery, you'd have to flash a custom recovery a factory reset should do it, but it'll remove all your personal installed apps too!

Thanks for the speedy reply . I used to own a One X (so awesome, but it failed ) and you could enter Stock recovery on that and reset. However, Ive just read that if you enter the Ones boot loader (Power + Volume down).. then you can do a hard "factory reset" from the menu, ill just use that

Does Hard Reset not remove everything.. Pics, music, settings, .. all of it.. hence the reason why this setting is in the Bootloader itself.

Samsung Keyboard crash

I love my new Note 4, but I experience twice in the last week of this new phone that is says: Samsung Keyboard has stopped working and then the keyboard would be stuck at the bottom of the screen. After trying to fix it for a few seconds, it would reboot itself. Anyone else has this problem? Solutions?
Try clearing the cache maybe that will help.
im also having the same exact problem after updating to lollipop. I've wiped cache in boot and all it did was cause one of my chargers to not fast charge anymore. but my keyboard is still crashing atleast 5 times a day. this happens whenever I long press and letter for a symbol, it doesnt matter what app im in, if i try to type a symbol through shortcut by long pressing a letter, 4 out of 5 times my keyboard will crash. I've been trying to find the solution to this but no luck.

I bet that all three of you did not do a full and complete wipe including factory reset
before you odin flashed the new lollipop COD6 firmware.
If that was the case then go into twrp recovery and do a full wipe including factory reset
but don't reboot the phone, navigate twrp to the "download mode" option and click that
and then get odin ready and re-flash the phone with the lollipop firmware.
A full wipe always includes system, data, cache, dalvik cache and last but not least factory reset.
Be sure to do a nandroid backup in twrp before flashing anything.
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice! I just checked my baseband. It is COD6 and I did do wipe cache when I update it from 4.4 to 5.0.1. If the random reboot show up again, I'll do factory reset + full wipe
