So basically my question is if it's possible to set a different vibration strenght for haptic feedback and the vibration when you receive a call or SMS since I've noticed that they are tied together. Perhaps something in tasker? I haven't noticed anything in it though. I'm running darky's rom jvs base.
Thanks
There is a setting for haptic feedback in settings>sound, right at the bottom. Not sure if this changes the call vibration as well. Im assuming thats what you played with before...
yes, I know that but I was wondering if there was a way to set different vibration strengths. I like the haptic feedback to be kinda weak but then I can't feel the vibration when someone calls

So I've searched everywhere but I haven't been able to find an answer.
After I updated my Captivate to the official Gingerbread 2.3.5 update...When I get a call or notification, the vibration is way more intense than what it was on Froyo. Has anyone else had this problem?
From your home screen, when you enter Settings, can you then click on: Sound, and then Vibration Intensity? If so, you should then be able to lower it a bit.
The reason I ask is I'm not running stock GB, but Legend 3.4, and that setting is grayed out. But if it's available in stock, try it.
Go into settings/sounds make sure haptic feedback is check , then set the vibration intensity.
Thanks guys,
but I've already looked into that. On the official Gingerbread release there is no 'Vibration Intensity' option except for the Haptic Feedback part. And when I adjust the haptic feedback vibration intensity it does adjust some of the system vibrations (the vibrate when I put it on 'vibrate', etc.) but it does nothing to the call and notification vibrations.
But thanks for your input!

An idea? Have you tried adjusting the call settimgs under 'all calls'? Turn off the vibrate settings there for vibrate on connect. It will still vibrate on silent mode.

Is anyone else experiencing haptic feedback (vibration) problems?
When I'm typing sometimes vibration works, sometimes it doesn't. Its not limited to the keyboard either it happens on the softkeys and other ui components.
anyone else encounter this? all of the sudden the haptic feedback intensity will either get more intense or less all on its own. when i go into vibration intensity, vibration feedback, the setting is the same and the slider hasnt moved. i then have to move slider up to get it back to normal. very annoying. any thoughts?
Hi,
for a few weeks now, I'm experiencing the Pixel 5's vibration and haptic feedback being a lot weaker than before.
Because of this I have missed calls and can't really use the phone on silent mode which I usually have always on. I tested it by having my gf call me and I could confirm that the phone barely even vibrates. Nothing you could sense with the phone in your pocket.
Also the typing experience suffers due to basically no haptic feedback at all.
Of course I checked my settings, and I have Vibration and haptic feedback on max as always. Also a few times rebooting didn't fix my problem.
I was hoping that April's update would improve the situation, but got also disappointed there.
It's really annoying that such a basic functionality just stops working, I'm desperate at this point and consider to send my Pixel in if there's no correction in the near future
