I wouldn't flash that. It has more partitions than our US fastboot files, so once you flash to it, I don't think you can go back.

I did the chinese flash. Search on psouza4 posts. Not the 1 click root ones. You can follow his directions and run the script to install the 5.6.890 to your Droid 3. This process requires running from within the extracted directory and utilizes moto-fastboot rather. There is a link to download the swu.zip. Just follow the directions

I have compared ME863 and XT862 XML files, number of partitions is same,
me863 xml no mbmloader and mbm partitions.
I flash the XT883 cdt.bin(xt862 can also help),now the droid3 come back normal.

According to the website, You need to replace the cdt.bin from XT883 after you have extracted the ZIP file, then you should be able to flash it.

updata again:
Sorry,I was wrong,
XT860 can flash this rom,
but you can't go back xt860 stock rom if you don't have the xt860 stock rom

Do you mean in a not recoverable way ?
Or the phone is bricked just because the lack of an Xt860 sbf ?

actually, the me863 rom has not been flashed in droid3,select normal powerup will boot in xt883 or verizon system, this is a temporary way to fix bootlooping.
to wipe out the problem, need re-flash recovery rom xt883 or verizon,or one file cdt.bin
I don't know that flash ME863 rom to xt860 what will happen, but someone say it will brick.
xt860 recovery rom has not leak yet,so can't recovery.so I suggest xt860 don't flash this rom.

I tried to flash the ME863, that's no way, and frankly the chinese forum message smell a little like a fake, he says has replaced just the xml file w/o even manage to change the md5 checksums.
BTW only system and radio are flashable.
Flashing just the system image will lead to an error on the first reboot.
Radio flash flawlessly and the phone works, but the baseband value in the control panel remains unchanged, so I guess it is replaced again on the first boot.

no, on your phone missing ESF settings (IMEI, MEID so on..), it can not be repaired at the moment, because the bootloader is locked
Flashing the new ROM wiped out the build.prop
You need to push a GSM compatible build.prop back into /system to get the baseband to work again.

[Guide] LG G Flex Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock)

So The poster who posted some of the other G Flex files for going back to stock the threads were closed so I could not update it with new links. I have obtained some more KDZ for different models in Europe now The KDZ`s are some what hard to get for the G Flex but I was able to get a few extras
Below is a Guide that has worked on Flashing the other LG phones it should be the same for the G Flex
NOTICE! - IF you download fails or does not download all the way USE A DOWNLOAD MANAGER!, Files that are usually over 1GB browsers have issues downloading them especially if you have a slow connection.
NOT Responsible if you flash the WRONG one
How to flash ROM KDZ Method
First off I`d like to THANK @quangnhut123 for making a new way & easy way to flash the KDZ Method!!
The Files are Hosted on my server for fast speeds! Most if not all NEEDED KDZ files are on my Server
1). Download all The Files Below!
1) Click Here
2) Download LG Drivers - LG Drivers Here - 10.9 Mb
2.1)Verizon Drivers (Verizon Only)LG_VZW_United_v2.11.1.exe - 7.8 Mb
3) Download LG Flash Tool 2014 tool and extract - LG_Flash_Tool_2014.zip - 3.1 Mb
4) Enter to Download Mode and plug USB into your PC
5) Run LGFlashTool2014.exe and do as following pictures :
(If you cannot run LGFlashTool2014.exe, please install Visual C++ Runtime Library) - Download HERE
Normal Flash: Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error. Beware of boot loop when flashing ROM that differ from current ROM on your phone or MOD ROM.
CSE Flash: Choose this option when you need a fresh format. All data will be gone. It's suitable for upgrading or downgrading ROM or simply use this when you need to back to Stock.

No need to choose desired language, it automatically change to English as a default setting.
Wait until 100% to complete !
REMEMBER if you get Bootlooping after flashing perform a factory hard reset!

3. Extract the TOT file from the ZIP
When LG Flash Tool is installed, do not launch it.

12) Click the S/W box and select the firmware file with .tot extension.(the 2.04 gb file from above)
13) Now click the Yellow arrow button on the top left of the main window.
The firmware installation will be triggered.
Ignore if you see any temporary error and just wait patiently till it is finished.
Do not close the Flash Tool window.
14) Press and hold power button until phone turns off, leaving usb cable connected to device AND computer ,immediately hold volume up button until phone boots it into Download Mode.
Your LG G2 will restart showing firmware installation progress in percent (%).
When all is done, reboot your phone and enjoy!

I'm from Greece, I think this would answer questions for many European members owning the Korean variants.

Could you explain better...
Could you enter flash mode?
If you can, follow [NUT] OP and flash stripped ftf.
LINK
That way you'll get stock kernel...it's normal you can't boot your device, you have custom kernel on locked bootloader.
I'm not sure, never tried to unlock BL on Z1 but you should first flash stock ROM and kernel...
This way, I'm not sure you'll be able to enter flash mode to flash ftf from flashtool.
But, as I said, I'm not 100% sure.
Try that method and post what happened...

This is a great thread --> Disaster Recovery by NUT
See the section (click to expand it) about flashtool.
It explains how to connect your phone in flash mode when it's in a bootloop, etc.
Reading the whole lot is recommended, but that's the part you need.
I would pick a stripped ftf from NUT's download page to match the firmware you were running, so if .757 use the stripped .757 ftf, etc.
Then flash the stripped ftf which contains the stock kernel and baseband
That should fix your phone, and retain your data. :good:

No this is bad advice
If he has flashed a custom kernel and maybe a custom rom (Such as Cm or aokp etc) then this will not help
The OP gave limited details about his situation. So flashing a stock FTF will help him. Flashing a stripped FTF or stock kernel only will only help if he is coming from a stock based rom.

Whoops, sorry, very true
Should have thought really, the only real reason to be on a custom kernel is to install a non stock based rom

Not really, I am on stock ROM work a custom kernel. If the op had given more information we could give detailed help, but this is just another example of someone shouting help in a generic sense , in which case I give generic help.
So many users need to learn how to ask for help

So many users need to learn how to ask for help

Otherwise you have to go all Sherlock on them, yes lol
Hopefully the OP will let us know what rom he was running, and he may get a more specific answer.
It look like the OP relocked wit the wrong TA! ..lol.. I hope not for him...

Before you unlock your bootloader you should backup your TA.
When you relock with your own restored TA you would get your DRM keys back, etc like you hadn't unlocked in the first place.
If you didn't backup your TA you can still relock your bootloader, but you've lost your DRM keys.
You can't flash someone else's TA as it won't work either, and as far as I understand it, brick your device.
You have to have stock based firmware before you relock your bootloader.
If you relock with a custom kernel installed, it won't work.
What rom and kernel were you running prior to locking your bootloader?
i know, i just wan to know wrong TA issue come from user chose wrong file or tools can make it wrong.

Wrong TA, backed up from different phone, even the same model, and restored on your just to have the DRM Keys back. (hard brick)
I said that because it was an idea as the OP didn't explain yet WTH he did on his phone.
BTW, at this time I think we lost the OP somewhere..LOL...

No you wont, just flash a stock kernel and a stock based rom (If you were on a non-stock based custom rom) after relocking.

Thanks, recovery works fine on D410H.
You need to add on the title of this thread that this WILL NOT work on the D415. If you flash that aboot on the D415, it will permanently kill the phone.
Cool interface...

Yes, I tried it and if not for my warranty, I'd be using a Nokia Lumia 521 right now....ewww. [emoji37]
To explain, what I did was follow the instructions and flashed the aboot from that site. Even @evoname warns that it doesn't work on the D415.
@Lady
so a wrong aboot bricks your Phone, Not my recovery right? for me i tryed different l90 kernels for recovery compiling and every Works. i think there must be an kdz for your D415 right? i had an brick to and could only unbrick with kdz File an and an Flash Tool thats made for G2 .named flashtool 2014 or something Else.
edit:
checked sources again , and this TWRP must work on D415, because other users confirmed that my Philz touch works on D415 and its uses the same kernel like this twrp, so if someone is smart enough please test this twrp recovery on an ROOTED D415 WITH UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER, it must work...
Thx
Regards
I can confirm that this recovery does work on T-Mobile D415 just fine.
I extracted the zip and used ROM installer to flash recovery.

The recovery works because it's a 2nd init recovery. That kind of recovery works on phones with locked bootloaders just fine. If I didn't mention it before, the OP states that you need an unlocked bootloader. To do that, the aboot needs to be flashed (which I did and I bricked...LOL.) The aboot flash located in that cyanogenmod link is what you need to avoid. If you use a D415, sorry to give you the bad news, but the bootloader is locked. Maybe the OP can remove the requirement of needing an unlocked bootloader because it does work as 2nd init.

I got my soak test for 4.4.4, but I am on vacation so I don't have a PC to revert back to stock recovery.

I seriously doubt you'll find that. Instead, (assuming you are rooted), download your choice of "Rashr", or "Flashify" from the market, and use it to flash the stock recovery.img file (attached). I had to zip it because the forum has a 10MB size limit. Just unzip it first and flash with Rashr/Flashify.
Also keep in mind that if you have made any changes to /system (including installing Xposed), the OTA will likely fail to install.
Personally, I wouldn't even consider trying to flash an OTA after having rooted and flashed custom recovery without a PC around. If anything goes wrong you're gonna be up a creek (if you get my drift) with no way to recover.
Good Luck
I signed up and got the email about the soak test, just wondering if they send another email with the update or if it will be an Ota. I just signed up a few days ago so who knows if I will even get one but I'd like to know what to look for thanks.

The roll-out hasn't started yet. The current *best guess* given by 'those in the know' is that it will possibly start tomorrow night. If you signed up for the soak test, you will likely receive it once the test starts.

QQ Sam, will that recovery also work for the T-Mobile GSM Version?
Also after flashing the recovery you need to flash twrp again i`m assuming?

Here is the recovery for the T-Mobile variant. It may be the same - I haven't checked the MD5s.
I'm kinda confused as to why you need it though. The XT1053 has been on 4.4.3 for some time. Unless you are still on 4.4.2, and you want to update to 4.4.3....
The 4.4.4 rollout (or even the soak test) haven't started yet.
Regardless, this is what you need for when it does start. Keep in mind (as your probably already know) that if you have modified /system, the update might fail to install. Remember to uninstall Xposed if you are using that before you update as well.
And finally, yes, after you have successfully taken an OTA, you can simply flash TWRP back again.
So... Do I have the right kernel for Att?

Oh wow! That's interesting....
Every Moto X Kernel I've seen (that was signed w/release keys) thus-far has the "hudsoncm" build. Now I'm really curious what is different about this one...
Or are you unlocked and you flashed a custom kernel?? I bet that's it - are you using "faux" kernel or something??

Yes. The other one pictured by the other member posted does not appear to be stock. My guess is that they flashed a custom kernel at some point.
Yours appears to be the stock.
EDIT: upon further research, both appear to be stock Kernels. I'm wondering if the kernel in the SBF differs from the one in the OTA. That's all I can figure. You would *think* that every phone on the same build, whether updated via OTA or SBF/FXZ would have the same kernel build. Apparently not the case....
