I really enjoyed the boot sequence for Zinc having the guitar playing and the spinning Android medallion, what would it take to create an android green lantern boot sequence...... I have attached the animated green lantern logo spin that I am looking for but I have no idea how to do it.
This was my post on AC.com.
Hey guys, wanted to see if anyone knew how to create a boot animation out of the Green Lantern animation/insignia in the new trailer for the upcoming movie. It would be cool if it could say the brightest light and the darkest night while boot loaded.... what do you think? Can anyone do this or teach me how?
I can't post a link to IMDB for the trailer that is out now for Green Lantern movie.... I'm open to any suggestions.
Further more...who is up for a Dark Green Theme or Rom on DJ05?
Many thanks in advance guys if you are able to help!

Can someone post instructions on how to make one period. I wanna use the dancing cat from the end of ray william johnsons =3 videos
so fresh and so superclean.
Looks like I'm actually gonna do something for the community now! *Background clapping* I am currently able to make splash screens and test them until the 30th of July. Throw me a pic, and I'll try to make it look the best I can. And I mean splash screens, not boot animations. I am still working on learning that one.
Instructions to flash the creations:
Make sure the file name is splash1.img
Put device into bootloader, then fastboot. ADB reboot bootloader will automatically put it into fastboot.
Make sure the splash1.img is currently where your adb is directed.
Command is as follows: fastboot flash splash1 splash1.img
No requests?

Every pic I've made into a splash came out fine on mine.try paint.net with the android raw plugin. Resize to 320x480 and boom there ya go.
Sent from my Liberty using XDA App
I tried that using the raw plugin with paint.net and when i flash it using the liebimg method i just get an 8bt black and white image, not the bright green android. I just dl'd a zip and replaced the splash.nb0 in the zip.....any thoughts
edit, I just rename the rgb565 to .nb0. Will that not work ?
That will work

Darkness.....can you help out. Take the green android from post above and make splash?

Anything you can do with this to make it a splash screen? I can't stand that glaring white HTC splash. Please name it as it needs to be for it to work. If you can superimpose something over it, let me know. I'll come up with something creative.
Thanks!
Hmmm..... throw me an idea and I'll give it a try.

I'd be happy just as it is. I'm having trouble finding a way to do this with an HTC Aria (rooted). Any insight?
There are only 10 kinds of people. Those who understand binary math, and those who don't.

Download paint.net and the android rgb plugin make sure you resize to 320x480. With that you can make ANY image into a splash.

This is my first boot animation I made. I used some wallpaper and a 3D can to make this animation using mostly photoshop. The text was added onto the wallpaper and then wraped around the can. Then I made the can spin and exported the animation into JPG files. I know everybody has their own favorite American college football team so here is mine.
Do not try to flash this. Use root explorer to place this zip file in your boot animaion folder.
I am not responsible if you break your phone.
Nice one. Man.
Thanks. I'm thinking about doing one with a tumblimg squar that has wallpaper on all all six sides. Like a rolling di.

Very nice. How did you make the image rotate in photoshop? And save every image of it rotating?

How to wrap can:

How to rotate can:

How to export animation:
File>Export>render video>image sequence, rate 30fps. Save in JPG or PNG.
Make sure all images are in RGB from begining to end. If they are not just open and save in RGB. Photoshop tends to want to save everything in sRGB.

Hello XDA community. I'be been recently searching for a 'Journey' boot animation with the Soundtrack from the game in the background. If someone who might be willing to male one or knows where I can find one that would be most helpful. I'm also looking for a theme with icons based from the game in it as well
Sent from my SCH-I500 using xda premium
JaeKar99 as well as others have posted up "how-tos" on making your own boot animations. I always make my own, as I usually want something plain and simple. You can make your own icons as well, easy to replace the current icon in the apk, with your "custom" icons before you flash the rom.
I'm not good with art programs. I'm lucky I can draw a square in paint lol

There is a tutorial on here somewhere that shows you how to make a boot animation from a YouTube video. Then just find an mp3 that has the music you want and exchange it for the boot audio that is currently deactivated in aokp by default.
