Please help! I don't know if the firmware or lcd is the problem. but the problem starts when my cousin update it..
it needs to touch it repeatedly to use application, sms, to unlock. etc..

Did you legally update it, or root it and stick on a ROM?
If it's unresponsive and it's legally done, then take it in for the warranty...
If the other way, then try and restore your phone through PC Companion, to the official software.
Oh, and have you smashed/dropped/physically abused your phone in any way? Was it working fine before it was updated? If so, then it's most likely a software problem, I think.
Perhaps a more knowledgeable person can help. Sorry if this info isn't what you're looking for.

Physical defects aside. Ditto from the other answer. If it was a root and change of ROM then it could be the overclock was set too low, ie @ default 600MHZ. you would need atleast 691Mhz to work like before due to GPU lag.

I just bought a TyTn II device. I don't know whats gone wrong with it that it is giving me annoying sound when its awake but surprisingly when i turn off the screen the sound goes off. its very annoying just like some bee is there behind..
I wonder if i using some wrong radio 1.65.24.36 with PDACORNER v16ultimate, Hard SPL 3.29[as per the recommendation of cook]. I tried to change the radio but to no avail. it seems its more than that.
i dont know if there is some hardware problem or what. but its really making my experience painful. Kindly suggest your remedies.
come on guyz, hardware techies suggest me what needs to be done, I am really worried with the entire thing. I wish to know if it has been faced by someone or if there is any remedy out there?

Here are some simple questions..........
Did this happen right after installing this rom? Did you have the rom on there a while before it started? did you install any other software between installing the rom and when the buzzing noise started?
Have you tried hardresetting ? ( complete wipe and reinstall of current OS )
Have you tried other spl's? ( as the spl controls things on a hardware level?)
Honestly, to me as a hardware tech, it sounds as though its hardware related. I had a backlight inverter on my laptop cause an odd buzzing sound, but ... maybe its not that...
poor I tried to port hard spl 3.56 but to no avail.
I wish if someone else can help me out. This is really getting very difficult for me to listen to calls with this buzz sound in the back. Kindly help me someone. someone said its a problem of moisture but I am not sure if it is. Bro kindly suggest me if it is the case.
Not much any of us can do at this point -- it sounds like a hardware problem.

He obviously cannot speak English and is posting through google translate, but still some details would be helpful.
I think the Humming (Bee like noise) is to do with the way the backlight works, try turning the brightness all the way up! It mihgt eliminate it. Mine has always made that noise but since it got replaced (broken usb port) it does not make it as loud much to my relief!
Find some reason to get it replaced

but do you have any personal experience? or someone in your friend circle had this? i never seen anyone with this annoying problem. some mechanic said its a usual problem of the chip of every flip style phones.

My xperia x1 is freezing. When i slide out and touch the (i dont know how to say) 'mouse' (the black square button in front), the screen blinks and flickers... and then the screen give more light and freezes.. i cant do nothing then. I must take the battery out to get it working again. And sometimes it freezes it self.. i dont know why or how..

I have the latest official rom update from SE Update Service.
i think this happened after i got the latest update, but with the previous update i had problems with slowness, and that i get sms but cant read, that is solved with the new update. But now i got this freezing thing.
Well, if a hard reset hasn't helped then it's a hardware problem. You will have to send it/take it for repairs...

it happens sometimes but only when im using at launcher other than the stock....never happens with the stock....but its very rare nd it goes when i lock the screen...

I've other problems concerned the touchscreen or touch-wiz or else.
- Sometimes a call rings, when I slide the finger on the touchscreen to answer the call what happens is that the call stays on but the phone keep vibrating and I can't do nothing but turn the phone off. The call can't be heard.
- Also sometimes when I hang a call because the other side not answer I touch the screen but nothing happens. The call stays on. Solution: Power off the phone.
- Other times when in a call after 40 seconds the call stays on but the sound off.
I did a factory reset and at this moment I don't have any extra app instaled, to see if these problems persists,
What I need to know is if someone had this problems with this model.
I updated my friend's SGA to Villain ROM and she is facing the same issue.. Its a touch calibration problem.. Unable to use the keyboard, it keeps typing something else. I am upgrading to the Code ROM.

this issued is being faced in every 2.3 rom by me
Trying ur original stock fw if problem still persists then something wrong with ur touchscreen hardware and its calibration.
As other users r not facing this problem this is not bug.
stock rom is working fine without any problem but as I flashes european firmware this problem starts...
One of the likely causes is the CPU hitting maximum, and thus the touchscreen doesn't respond I am getting this sort of thing a lot more often.

so events like this. I often mutually exchange oblack rom, then I edit the build prop.
after that I still wear cohabited. but after ane restarted so bootlup.
My friend fixed it still is not finished, it's on the other hand moved to remain so,
oblack I could live, but lcd gray. on the phone to enter, sms can also be entered. .

I have to admit i didn't really understand the problem. But if your device is stuck in bootloop use smartflash tool.

Try repair from pc companion if it doesn't work flashing other roms like CM11 amd see if the problem persists
Make sure you have TA backed up just in case it does persist
If the problem persists ita probably hardware issue so go back to stock-restore TA to lock bootloader and call Sony don't mention anything about bootloader or CM11 don't even say root or rom.

i had the same problem with my MIC, sometimes was like i speak of under water others nobody listen nothing.
I had tried everything possible, Downgrade Firmware, unlock Backup TA partition and relock bootloader, Recover by SUS, Format,
and i was quite sad that i would send my phone to warranty...
then my wife realized that i never put my phone underwater, and went to take a look with that face "I'll find a hardware issue that you couldn't in the last 2 weeks" and she noted that my grid was so dirty that was almost brow, hehehe, then i cleaned up with a soft tooth brush and a vaccun cleaner amd....
VOILÀ, my MIC returned to life, even with noise supressor is on!!!
Take a look into yours grid, perhaps thats is the same problem
