[Q] LGMobile update service PROBLEM! Help Please?

Hi all!
Few days ago i updated my lg p990 via LGMobile update service to 2.3.4 Gingerbread V20m with no problems. I`m from Serbia btw. Then i rooted my phone and installed clockwork recovery to backup my rom. I made a mistake to do that after i performed root so now when i restore my rom the phone is rooted again and i can`t use update utility anymore! It says my model is not suported. I then used SuperOneClick to unroot and r1-stockrecovery-2x-unsigned zip to remove recovery and it did that but still can`t update or restore original stock V20m rom with update utility. I even managed to install V20l ROM and baseband via Smartflash and offcourse still no update posibility and "not supported model" message. Yesterday i downloaded from XDA, Netherland stock V20m but, guess what, still not supported. Can anyone tell me how to or what to do to make my phone update officialy again with LG tool. THNX in advance

Well you have go download correct files. I don't remember very well where the download location is.
But I have managed to do full installation of original lg software over the cyanogenmod.
There is a step by step guide on this forum how to do this.
I am from Croatia and after that my phone accept automaticly update.
Now I am on Cyanogenmod because it is so much better than stock.

I downloaded stock V20m rom from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041 and still not supported with update. Can u please find what u did and post here!? I don`t know what i didn`t try and nothing worked so far. And i have GPS isue so i have to restart phone with gps ON and then it works. I didn`t have that problem when i updated to V20m first time. I have read that it`s a problem on V20l but not on V20m. U said u use custom rom!? Is everything working properly!? No workarounds to make something work like this GPS problem!?

[Q] Stock apps/ROM reset

I just got a rooted Optimus 2x. It has the stock ROM. The previous owner had removed many stock apps including Google Talk, music player which I would want to reinstall but I can't reach him now.
It has some backups because of Root Uninstaller, but not every app is there.
I found some links for all Optimus 2x stock apps but they aren't working anyome.
Is there any way I can reinstall these apps? Or do I have to reflash the stock firmware or something?
You should reflash
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA
So before I reflash can anyone confirm if this is what I should be doing?
Download my firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1035041 (Hungarian one)
Download Smartflash and Baseband (0725-V20q-Baseband) from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1658047 And follow the instructions. But also select the firmware file too.
The problem is the link for my baseband is down and I can't post in the thread.
Also after I flash it, I will have to root it again, right?
After u flash the stock firmware, the baseband will be flashed as well. So unless the stock baseband is not working with ur network u dun have to flash the baseband again,
Yes, u will have to root again

How Can i Get Back to Original ?

Hi Guys,
Need your support and help ! i have lg optimus black and flashed it a month ago and installed Zeus ROM 6.39 ! Everything is fine and works perfect, now i need to get back to original settings i mean unrooted and with official Rom ! is that possible ? can anyone tel me the procedure ???
please post me the links guys !
1. Do i need to unroot directly ? or else Do i need to install Stock rom and then unroot ??? Confused guys help me out !
Download your official ROM from here (.kdz) http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=1
convert the .kdz file to .bin & .fls using this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692191
Flash .bin & .fls using SmartFlash Tool (tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448803)
Procedure number 3. The easiest way to go back to the original stock rom. Look at the link you can download stock V10a from there. It's already in .bin & .fls no need to convert. Download it and flash using smartflash tool.
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?mod=Lg+Optimus+Black&paese=IND/INDIA&id_mod=1
Download whatever version you want (this link is of India)...You can download by setting options there ..
All all official ROMs, no need to unroot...they are fresh as unrooted..
Press THANKS button if I helped..

There is now tools to automatically convert the kdz to bin and fls and inject CWM. Search for P970 ROM converter and get the kdz file from lg-phone-firmware.com
Sent from my LG Optimus Black
Read my noob how to (post 3 especially), if you need any more info on that.
Thanks, although the patched bin download link in getzilla is not working anymore, anyway you can reupload that in mediafire or zippyshare maybe. Thanks.
Patch it yourself, download the kdz and then follow my how to, it's being done in less then 10 minutes...
Thanks man. I was able to root my OB now. I downgraded to Froyo first using Smarttool then rooted with Blackjack. damn gingerbread is hard to root, what more when ics comes. i hope not.
