How to record a call on a new stable cyanogen mod ?
I try 3 apps, They can't
1. AutoCallRecorder - ROMAN G.
2. Call Recorder - Schass Innab
3. AndroRec Free Call Recorder - AndroGlobe Technologies
Thank you
Sorry for my english
First, So far, Android 2.3 or later didn't support the reall "record call" function, so u cannot see the record button on the interface when you calling.
So, If you want have this function, you cannot use vooodoo kernel because your friend or others will cannot hear your vioce when u actived app's record function.
So, I recommend u use speedmod kernel and "record my call" app which can be easy found in Android maket.
BTW, Android2.2 can support this function.
@michael_g:
Using Speedmod kernel compiled for SGS ROM on Cyanogenmod????
Are you aware of what you are suggesting?
Unless Hardcore has made a CM7 kernel, only flash kernel made for Cyanogenmod on Cyanogenmod.

I flashed this rom yesterday (after 8.0 wipe) for 2 reasons. Firstly as a path to get to v9, but also to take advantage of the voodoo sound improvements. This is where im lost.. i thought it came as part of the rom, but cant find any trace of it...
how do i find / enable it???
Cheers in advance
Simon
ASK Darky i dont know what he puts in his rom one would expect Darky to be able to tell you .
Or SEARCH VOODOO SOUND
jje
Thanks for your patience.
Download Voodoo control app from market.
Its part of the kernel not the rom ;p Darky just uses a kernel that implimented it. Any froyo rom can have voodoo sound as long as you flash a kernel that implimented it.

How do you upgrade to version 9? Did you have 3d icons in launcher pro? I saw it in YouTube but mine 8.1 doesn't have it,

CF-Root kernel.
Don't use cf-root kernel. JVH uses changed RFS filesystem. For now best method is using voodoo kernel for JVH

Yep, no need for kernel, as long as you're rooted you just need Voodoo Control Plus, supercurio's made it easier than ever to get great sound, buy the app, support the legend

The free version requires a custom kernel. The paid version does not. Read the description of the apps in the market for more information. Be sure to rate the apps 5* as well because they work great.

I'll rate it as soon as my get my SGS working again. I've been installing a few different custom kernels and mods just trying to find one that I like that had the Voodoo kernel. I can now go back to stock JVH! WOO!
I installed the voodoo control plus from the market and it works very well.

There is no kernel that adds Call Recording to CM7, and Call Recording is not included in any CM7 build by decision of TeamDouche. This will not change.
If you need Call Recording in CM7 you will need to use an App, or add it yourself and build from source.
wich app work good in galaxy s without any problem?
tnx

does that kernel support voodoo sound? by the look of it it doesnt, if that is the case you need to flash a kernel that does support it(most)...and then all will be good...go to the thread for that kernel and in #1 or 2 it should state the kernel spec

If u want kernel with voodoo, you must flash a JVQ or JVR, because all kernel's are on new source's and for 2.3.4 no for 2.3.3.
For JVQ/R are a lot of kernel's with voodoo sound support
I just installed voodoo control plus and now it works but i have one last question. Now i have 2 voodoo controls apps. One of them have to delete ?

Turn on the Voodoo Control App, then you see at down Lagfix Control, or something like this, and Lagfix status: if enable ext4, if disable rfs only.

...i'm so nervous... i'm getting this message if i stay and do nothing on application, what to do ?
i can't choose between cyanogen mod 7.1 , or the insanity rom , i was going to flash Amestris v5.2 , can you help me pick ?? and can u tell me why to choose your answer ?
i care about , Music , smoothness , INTERNET AND GPS , and futuristic looks
I use them both, but am currently using superosr - i find it faster and smoother than either of them .
7. 1 is feature rich, insanity cm very very slim, superosr a good combination of both.
Try em mate, once your on a cm base, your only a. Cwm flash away from another - with no loss of data.
Choose , Cyanogenmod 7.1 or insanity rom , or any other custom rom ?
I have installed on your phone I9000B build GalaxyRom_V07 but I have a problem with WI-FI and connecting to the mobile network as soon as possible to solve this problem?
Personally i use Insanity.. Cyanogen7 just has too much stuff i dont use..
I intall Insanity then add a few more programs and im done.
Im about to try SuperOSR so ill report back.

Mate, all cm7 roms (insanity, superosr) use yaffs file system, therefore are incompatible with voodoo or any other lag fix - they are in effect redundant due to the speed of yaffs.
They are however compatible with voodoo sound.

i understand , is there any kernel that supports the voodoo sound ? i don't care much about the voodoo lag fix , all i care about is voodoo sound , miui was not
a sammy based rom yet there where kernels with voodoo like glitch kernel , if yes can you please link me to such kernel ?
Glitch is probably the most popular.
Hit the thanks button.
I use insanity as it doesn't have all the unnecessary apps that I don't need.
And it's IMO improved version of CM7 as nitr8 just adds the good updates in to it.

Why would you bother with any of the of the roms that are based on it when you can have the real thing?
