Three Free 3D games - LG Thrill 4G

i bought my thrill used and i was told that it should have these free games,NOVA, Golf, Asphalt 6 but they are not there, any place i can download them since they were free?

it sounds like the person you purchased the phone from deleted/removed them from the SD card.

that is what i was thinking, does someone have them and could email them to me or is there a website to go and download them?

You should get them back by flashing Thriller, or the stock ROM. If someone can say where the apks are on the phone I could upload them.

Here is two of the three
It won't allow me to upload the third one, file size limit is 8MB, the last game is 15MB.
PM me your email address and I will send it to you.

it tells me i can not install them.

If you put them in the folder I pulled them from (/system/app) and reboot do they show up?
I use super manager to write to the system partition, requires root, but its free in the market.

no thanks though i guess i give up.

I wasn't that impressed with them.
If you want them, and you aren't on Thriller already, you should give it a try. You would get the games back, and you would see some nice performance improvements.

yea i can seem to get clock work on my thrill to put a custom rom on it.

The adb is a bugger. It took me several tries, and I ended up using super manager to do some of it.

I understand their are others. But this one has drag and drop. And its free.
BTW, I wouldnt use apps like these for large files (ie. Roms). They are better suited for small file sizes.

Ya, I thought at first it was like wifi manager...but its not. I need something like that so I can send ROMs without data cable. I forget which one I tried before, maybe the one you first mentioned, but it wouldnt send ROMs. Just hang and file wouldnt get sent.
Keeping the screen on helps. I wouldn't use it for anything over 10 MB's.

Free City ID For Thunderbolt

Just download the file and put it on your sd card and then go into astro or any other file manager and install it. Works great! Make sure to set the space from the bottom setting to whatever fits with your lock screen.
I'm on VirusRom and I'm using:
Typeface: Serif
Font Size: Small
Space from bottom: Bottom Middle-High
It fits PERFECTLY. First picture is from receiving a call while in lock screen, second picture is receiving a call while using the phone while unlocked.
NOTE: You Don't Have To Be Rooted To Use This. Make Sure You Have Unknown Sources Checked Under Applications.
I think I remember when this guy got his app removed. Pretty sure it works well. Scan it with Privacy Blocker
Thanks OP
It's fine. I've used it in the past. And many others use it as well. Verizon must have not liked the dev hurting their profits.

LG Thrill ROM Suggestions?

Hey guys I just got my thrill today. I don't know if there is any rom's currently able to run on this device but I do have the source code downloaded and plan on trying to create a rom but has there been a full back method found yet like tegra2 devices have nvflash?
Best of luck. Waiting for it.

You can make nandroid backups available through CWM, check out designgear's thread
Edit: Oh yeah, and my suggestion for a ROM? I would love a ROM that comes debloated, deodexed and zip aligned (just for easier theming - that does make theming / sharing themes easier, right?), has the speed tweeks/optimizations available for the Optimus 3D, obviously AT&T radio, and if I can dream a little, several more preinstalled fonts, LP or a psuedo gingerbready launcher, and some light theming with some matching backgrounds* and a matching bootup animation. A kernel that allows for OC would be nice to have I guess, but I can't imagine using it to be honest; the battery life is so bad already.
Good luck!
*If you know what colors you're using, I'd be happy to find or create matching backgrounds and/or a boot animation if you want.
If Possible and a big IF considering I have yet to see a device not HTC Branded that uses Sense but Would love to see a sense type Rom IF possible. Also would love an OC kernel considering battery isn't really an issue for me considering I am Always by a power source, that and I sit at home all day lol. Even if I didn't I would probably Underclock and Undervolt for battery Life than OC at night when I got home and wanted to do stuff on the phone.
I am looking through everything for the LG Optimus and I'm scouring the Texas Instruments site to see if I can find something there.

can you add call recording funtion on your rom ?
I think that was already responded to. But from my understanding its too much work so get a 3rd party app

Call Recording has been added to a few of the O3D Roms so maybe ask the dev how he did it, shrug just an idea.

Liberty 3 Rc1 has been released for the Bionic.

This is not my work, and all credit goes to devs. Liberty RC1. Really awesome.
Remember I, your mom, your priest, or your dog are not responsible for what you do to your phone. Only you are. Happy flashing.

However, go over to rootzwiki, register and get this rom. I love the devs, and they apparently had a kang thing happen, so removed out of respect for them. You love your bionic though, you will love it more with Liberty Baby!

Any thoughts on how it compares to the TH3ORY rom? I'd love to try, but I can't seem to get my Google account to automagically reload all my apps, and it's too big a hassle to reinstall everything after a flash if I don't have to.

Use the app mybackup root. You can back up all apps and there data and restore them all at one time. Also backups SMS mms and so forth. Works much better than titanium. I use both in tandum. So backup your apps. Boot cwm. Then backup entire rom...flash liberty restore apps. Cake! Restore backup if you don't like current rom.
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App
Liberty is so worth any trouble, although flashing it really is easy. It is super. It was always my favorite on my x, and I love on my bionic. The crazy thing is, it's just an RC. Great work to the devs. Be sure to show them some love.

Liberty 3 rc1 no landscape in gallery?
I might be overlooking something, but i cant seem to get my videos or pictures in the gallery to go landscape when i view them...anyone else have that problem?
Hmmm.
Yea, mine doesn't do it either. It is a release candidate, so could be something to get fixed in future. Still, wicked rom.

Doesn't include taking it out of the box.
I will be probably rooting it as soon as I take it out of the box. Maybe install some custom roms.
So what are you going to do?
The first thing that i will do is test the web browser and see if it is any smooth, if the browser is not, than i will try dolphin or something like that, but if that browser still lags that i will consider returning because i want a good and handy browsing device.

Yeah, but by the time we all get our devices, I'm sure they'll be a slew of roms, kernels, and other delicious Bacon. I think I'll run mine stock for a week or so, looking for bugs. Before I void any warranties, I wanna make sure I don't have a faulty device.
Test around for few minutes then start my setup!!
setup each of the 5 pages exactly the way I want, download widgets, apps, personalize the device
then i will start putting my own contents onto the device: movies, ebooks, comics
how is installing a new rom voiding your warranty?
