Here are some Black And Blue system apps that go pretty good with SPC_Hicks Fusion and Iconic HD Themes
Whats Themed?
Browser.apk
Settings.apk
YouTube.apk
Gallery3d.apk (SPC_Hicks Themed gallery for Iconinc HD)
Mms.apk
QuickSearchBox.apk
DeskClock.apk
Coming Soon
Phone.apk (Got it looking ok not ready to release yet being a pain to get it flowing good.)
Contacts.apk (same as above)
One note there are a couple things that are not working properly you still can't see the text in the mms app when adding a attachment which has to do with the Framework-res.apk not mms.apk so basically unless that is changed in a theme it won't be changed here.
Also when I get more time I will post these individually so that you dont have to get everything i just don't have the time to do it now.
Screen Shots will come..
Download put on root of ext-sd
Boot into recovery
Choose zip from sd card
Wipe dalvik cache
Download For The themed apps mentioned above :UPDATED now includes Desk Clock:
http://www.multiupload.com/NPTYP7BXD7
Ok I put this one seperate because of different install instructions
This is a Black and Blue Themed Gmail with transparent Background still have some things to do with it but looks ok enough to release.
I have only gotten this to work one way.
To Install:
Download Gmail App from link below
Place on the root of ext_sd card
With either Titanium Backup or Root Explorer or any app that will let you delete system files
Go to /system/app/ find and delete Gmail.apk or if using Titanium Backup find it in your list and unistall it ignore the warning about removing system apps
Boot into recovery and clear cache
Install zip From SD
Select the zip file
flash as normal
Clear Dalvik Cache
Fix permissions in the advance section of clockwork recovery.
Reboot
After reboot find gmail in app drawer it always ended up going to the very last for me after you open it let it sync and everything should be working as normal.
Download Themed Gmail

Thanks Beamer. Great job. Can't wait for the phone/ contacts. Was using Go contacts/ dialer but had to get rid of it. Discovered it was the root of my ringtone problem.

Join the revolt!
Can't believe I'm just now seeing this post lol. Thanks for all this awesome work man! Will be checking these out later tonight!
EDIT: Beamer, you don't really HAVE to post these separate. They can just extract the zip file then replace the .apks that they want. Just figured it would save you some time if you add that to your OP instead of going through and making a flashable zip for each individual .apk.
Another EDIT: These look great man! Very nice job, love the System icons and the Google Search Bar!
Just noticed that if you go into "Settings," you forgot to theme the "Connectivity" icon.
Ok thanks will look into that and I was just going to post separate because some people don't know how to do that and I don't want a bunch of pm asking the same questions and the zips are already made.
Edit: Also thanks spc without your themes these apps wouldn't be what they are again thank you for taking time out of your life to create your themes!
Edit: ok I changed the connectivity icon but unfortunately when I just try to flash in recovery it settings force closes kind of need some one to try this out but the end result might be what I just got done doing and that is pretty much flashing 1.5 all over and your theme again then the themed system apps and the whole gmail thing too if anyone is interested pm me.

Try downloading the file, extract the .apk.
Use RootExplorer to delete the old .apk
Reboot Normally
Use RootExplorer to put the new .apk in /system/app
Reboot Normally again.
That should work.

So I noticed that CM6 Froyo Remix ROM was missing the Genie weather and the customizable Power Control widget. I use only those two widgets on a daily basis and it would be nice if someone could point me in the right direction.
I've already tried Googling and downloading a transparent Genie widget from another site but after installing the widget, my phone had to force close the app maybe because it wasn't compatible?
Anyways, it would be nice if somebody can help me. Thanks in advance!
maybe u can try beautiful widget instead
I've already tried that app and honestly it isn't my cup of tea.
Is it possible to just extract the genie apk from a ROM and install it onto the one I'm currently using?

thats probably because you have to completely uninstall the old one first
go into root explorer or whatever file manage you use and DELETE the newsandweather or geniewidge apk
then reboot, just to be sure

Nvm... I just Googled it myself. C;
I used to ADB to remove the GenieWidget.apk and used this command to reinstall the transparent widget:
adb remount
adb push GenieWidget.apk /system/app/GenieWidget.apk
I'm sure majority of the people here already know how to do all this but I'm typing this as a reference in case I flash my phone again.
Hmm tried to install this on CM6-RC1, but now i can't load my new & weather anymore lol.
Luckily i made a backup.
Yet again, not my work lol. Took this off the droid incredible forum. Gotta browse around peoples. Placed this guy in system/app with root explorer. Works great for me. Looks sweet too (minus the icon in the launcher, ick.)

Love the black market. Has anyone been able to get the apps to download with bonzai ROM?
I get it to work for a bit then it Fc on me =( help !!!
Here are some standalone apps that I have created for my upcoming "Blacked Out" theme.
These will load to any ROM.....
The apps are Market, Gmail, Talk, and Google Search
Be sure that these apps are installed in your /system/app folder before flashing. All four are flashable.
Also make sure that you do not have the Market and Gmail updates in your data/app folder....

http://www.4shared.com/file/QXCKNRsX/BlackedOutTalkSF.html
Hope you enjoy them and feel free to leave any bugs or issues in the thread..
After install, market will be "Black Market" in the app drawer and Talk will be "Dark Talk". The other two are named the same....
Are these the same apps from thebowers and team inversion?

Only Gmail worked out of this bunch for me. Had to extract the Talk and Market from my ROM to restore. I tried both flashing these and extracting the .apk's from them and manually moving them into system/app. Also tried fix permissions and other various 'tips and tricks', nothing would work.

and what was weird was Talk was still running in the background, as I was still getting notifications that people were trying to talk to me. But I couldnt click the notification to open talk.
I was going to ask if these were CWM3 (edify) zips or CWM2 (amend) zips. Im guessing since one worked, they are 2.x based.. but its the only thing I could think of besides my phone just being a turd.
I have flashed these apps over 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 with no problems... These zips are CWR 2.x based..... For Talk, it changes the name to "Dark Talk" in the app drawer. Make sure that no versions of market are in the /data/app folder.

This was achieved through multiple xml edits. I have taken the 2.3.5/2.3.7/4.0.4 Mms.apk(with added SMS Split) and completely inverted it so it looks like the black version.
I wanted to share this with all users interested in a up-to-date Black stock Mms.apk from 2.3.5/2.3.7./4.0.4
Mainly the reason I wanted this updated to 2.3.5/2.3.7/4.0.4 is for the latest quality and reliable split (with a supported framework).
On some ROMs, namely stock, the SMS split option does not show in options but it does split and is turned on by default.
This APP will work on stock and AOSP ROMS. As long as you have root.
INSTALL:
DEODEXED ROMS:
Download Black_Mms.apk below and install like normal, through package installer or push to /system/app/
STOCK-LIKE ODEXED ROMS:
Flash the one you want:Black_Mms-2.3.5.zip, Black_Mms-2.3.7.zip, Black_Mms-4.0.4 through custom recovery (This zip will push Mms to /system/framework/, allowing preferences to stay intact upon reboot)

Ok. Its cause your running odexed. Push the app to /system/framework/. It should be in the same directory as framework-res.apk. make the permissions the same.-->chmod 644 /system/framework/Black_Mms.apk.
This will create a classes.dex for it, allowing settings and preferences to stick.
Gimme a few, i will make a zip especially for odexed roms that pushes this to /system/framework instead of /system/app

excellent, these were updated to remove the phone apk errors I was getting on the newer CM9 beta 3 and AOKP builds.

Have you tried to use the "phone" app since flashing that modded contacts app? Since they didn't include it with their zip file, you may find that it says it's not installed anymore, even though the APK is there.

No, the inverted apps work ok with the exception of the contacts app, when you flash it, your phone will tell you there is no phone.apk when you try to use it. You can still make calls and get to the dialer through the people app, but it won't come up on it's own anymore.
That's what I thought. I've learned to live with all the bright white. Thanks.
