This really belongs in Q&A, is it really that hard to put it where it belongs? I mean really? This happens every day and just looking at the Dev board you can tell it was cleaned up once today...
Thank you

Does this do anything to boost in-call audio? That's all I really want
I believe it does

I'm looking to boost system volume. Even this app wasn't enough. Maybe the speaker is just weaker than i anticipated thus the headphone jack.
Audio boost here and Free!!! (pay donate if u want)
Ive looked around and found one that can increase yr volume its called Galaxy Tuner, on android market, maybe for Galaxy phs i dont know just try it, but to get the volume use the equalizer! use slider 100db 80-90% up for a bit more bass, but manly use these 2 sliders 875db and 2400db to round 70% any more will just distort sound, it will be a bit more tinny sound but louder great for shap noises like bird ring tones or sounds like sirens etc just play around but dont go max its crappy distortion! and u can save setting under what ever name! NOTE: using head phones will sound better, but make a setting "For Head Phones" and a setting "For External Speaker"
i was wondering if anyone knows a good way to do call recording....i need it to do both ends of the conversation, and not have to have it on speaker phone. using phoenix 4.5 right now btw
Some ROMs with some phone.apk do it perfectly. see Twingerbread screenshots.

Paragon 6 now includes call recording. I have tried it and works well. Plus trying another rom would give you a reason to flash. LOL

One bad thing about paragon dialer is that when call is connected and u pull up the dialer pad, there is no letters!

My rom has call rec and the phone dial pad(while in call) has letters
di11ligaffs rom has it as well and its a badass rom

Is there any way to increase the in call volume on the Bionic using the default rom rooted? I love the phone but have been having trouble hearing people on the thing... Which is a problem since, at the core, it is a phone after all...

Hmm. You have used this one with the stock rom and it worked? I tried it but it did not seem to have any affect. Maybe I did not change the right setting. I'll give it another go. Thanks!
Np I have a custom rom. There are also other ones you can try too

I've just gotten off the phone with a second-level tech at Verizon who said that variable call volume will be addressed in the next Bionic software update. He also said that it's currently in beta, and will drop Mid-November.
That's really great news. Hopefully it fully fixes the problem.
I've looked all over for a solution to make the speakers louder on 4.2.2 but no luck . When I got the phone it seamed loud but now I can't hear people when making calls in the car. I've tried beats off all different volumes and all the crap apps but still it's no louder than my note. I've read that HTC have lowered the volumes on 4.2.2 is there any way to get the volume back and make the speakers louder. Please don't respond by saying your phone is loud enough as mine isn't!!
Thanks
There is a zip to make it really loud again.

Sorry fella, I have the 4.2.2 update stock rom (UK unbranded) and the volume is so loud I cannot listen at full volume in a quiet room and have it max of 75% my age 49 so my hearing not as good as a teen obviously. I think your phone may well be faulty?

Both are correct. HTC has lowered the volume repeatedly in their upgraded firmwares. The man who said his is still loud is most likely still running old >1.26 FW.
Now, as of a way to raise these volumes im not quite sure how to do this through file editing (Maybe the zip in post #2 or #3 works, idk, if your in dire need, nandroid and flash it) BUT if youre up to flashing a kernel (assuming youre running 4.2.2 and are on sense) you can flash Tbaldens Performance Kernel (in Orig. Android Dev. section) and that will give you options to boost volumes on multiple fronts. I can confirm this works myself, as i use this feature actively and dont experience any crackling or popping. If you decide to download this kernel, youll need Trickstermod Kernel Control app from the Play Store to edit the values.
(Lol, seems like alot but i promise its not. Plus you get extra sweet features like USB Fastcharge, and Overclocking and all that jazz with the kernel. Its worth it)

Extract the tfa folder and then replace it with the tfa folder in system/etc/tfa. Set permissions, reboot
