If you open an .apk file with, say, WinRAR, that's what you'll see. Just so you know.

if you have the .apk file you have to install it! if you don't have the .apk file and just the extracted version, you can let Titanium BackUp make one for you.
I don't know of this will help but I had a similar prob. I had an .txt file of an app and I couldn't figure out ho to convert it into apk but after getting no solution i just renamed it to .APk instead of .txt and it worked!

My problem is that when I try to send a file using the default Bluetooth it says connection error. If I use Bluetooth file transfer it gives the following error: "You can't connect with target device because it lacks of the "Object Push Profile" (OBEXOPP) Bluetooth service. Make sure that target device is in DISCOVERABLE mode and enabled to receive files!". Device is in discoverable mode and i think it is enabled to receive files, I don't know where to look for the last one.
Someone received this error? Yes? Did you solve it? How?

When you say root explorer you mean root explorer(file manager) from Market?
It is a paid version and I don't pay money for apps .
I use Root Browser Lite, but I still can't send files.
When I try to send a file through bluetooth I only see the gmail option
no bluetooth option . I think I will change the ROM.
