Hey Phlash, I don't know if you remember me requesting a few months ago but I suggested an Alienware icon set with maybe a slight vibrating glow to it.
I do remember you buddy! And the alienware icon set is still in the todo list... i been busy with the update, but as soon as i can get this out of the way i will make new styles and your request is in it Dont give up!

Icon Request
First, I love love love your icons! I have an idea for a couple icon sets. First, a set of victorian icons, maybe along the lines of the "Old School" icon set I ran across a while back (can't remember the creator). Also, a victorian, dainty ivy theme would be great. Last but not least, a backless glass theme and white theme.
I also need a couple extra icons for the 3D set: voicemail, call history, pocket frogs, yumsters and animal tycoon.

This set took me forever to complete. I originally wanted to make a small set for myself, but it turned into a monster.
There are 425 different icons in two styles, round and square. Each style comes in six different colors. So I ended up making twelve different variations, 5100 individual icons total.
Icons are 256x256 png files. It's impossible to include every app and game available, but there should be enough generic icons for just about any program. I've included blank icons so you can make your own.
I've also attached a zip with matching WVGA wallpapers.

normally i'd say i dislike the look of custom icons but i think yours have a professional look. i would adopt this if you added one more kind of theme, transparent, just the icon, no colored bubble.
I'd love to see icons with just the 3d icon without the colored bubble to the image is transparent. like such as the opera icon the center of the "o" can see thru to the background. other than that, its very high quality, stunning!

what phone do u have????? just use the icon changer cab (JWMD) 1 install it in ur phone ,2 open the app , 3 start changing icons.... I think it is a video about that ..

Thanks for the compliment. I'm going to be really busy for the next few weeks so I don't know when/if I'd be able to make a transparent set. Just so we are on the same page, you are looking for something like the icon below, correct?

That's not a slider. Those are tabs for UltimateLaunch integrated into the wallpaper.

I got a beta copy of "tha SHAG" from you. Although very nice looking, they didn't really fit in with the look I have on my phone.
These however, would fit perfectly!!!
They look awesome.
A quick question though - I can change the icon used on shortcuts on my home screen, but how do I change the icon used in the app drawer...?
This is not a April fools day people... but just a time-line i've set to myself. Without a date i can't seem to gather the courage to finish... don't forget i do this FULL time... like 9am to 10pm... 13 hrs a day... i need to know when this ends or i will go insane!
Im thinking to make the free set like 20-30 icons and a donate version with 402 icons in...

I believe the only way to change them in the drawer is to be rooted... there are threads about this somewhere..

This is the long way though.. there is a much shorter way using apkeditor . I use that method coz then you come across a lot of other images and stuff that you could change

i like it! only thing i dont like and its just my opinion, is the box icons in the notification bar. but it isnt a deal breaker because i hide my bar all the time. soo that being said. i love black and red.
you should try a white and red or white and blue theme!

I love your work also man, especially the Black Alien theme. But I also would love to see some different style in the notification bar other than the box icons as well. Your themes always look amazing on my phone. This theme looks pretty bad ass as always. Thanks again for all of your hard work. The notifications icons are still what I need to work on. Have completed a set of silver & white for the Black Alien. Now just to get the red done for this theme.

Thats cool. I just like seeing different looking things up in the notification bar. That's just my opinion, other people might like the box looking icons. I loved them with the Black Alien theme you made. You all probably don't have lots of options with these Epics anyway like you do the other phones. I like the notifications bars like are in Emotionless Beast(MysteryEmotionz) and the Superhero Roms(by earthbound) has some pretty cool looking icons I think. But don't change your work just because my opinion, I have learned a little bit about flashing some things from one theme and adding others from another. So I'll definitely use this theme no matter what you do. Thanks

so I took some time to make up some blue icons for my own phone to test this out....since I got ZERO bites on my first post
here's a screenshot....I think I could lighten up the text a bit but not bad for a first attempt.
Pretty sexy, too bad I ain't running CM7 any more or I'd totally be using those icons.

Agreed. Text is too dark on the blue icons. But awesome work!
Mortem I actually REALLY like your icons and I would so use them but I decided to stop using any home launcher replacement apk's because I found they REALLY slow down my phone. I don't know enough about theme development to actually mess with changing my icons altogether. But again, I really like your overall design concept!
