need help in upgrading !!!!!!

hi! everyone i just got my htc diamond from bell mobility .my rom version is 1.13 and rom date 10/02/08.as I was going through the forum i found out most of the guys have upgraded to or have higher version .so i tried downloading new version for the rom but htc site says "Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device." .and there is one more thing even after installing microsoft .net 3.5 i'm not able to use light saber it shows some error. kindly help me out .

is your diamond tied to someone operator? If so have they no update to the just released, but apparently concluded after you have such a ROM old. You can always install some ROM from this page, read the guide how you will take to install HARDSPL, it's just to read you should see that it goes the way. also had problems with it with Netcf 3.5 but in the majority of ROM's are in from the start. good luck

Need instructions for installing WM6.1

hi guys, at first, i am a total beginner in working with xda's.
so my problem is, i tried many times to install WM 6.1 on my HTC P3600, but every time it failed. The process stopped while installing etc etc ..all in all i got 5 hard -reset's or so.
so, i have a favor to ask. can someone write me a short instruction which "program" i have to install in which order to use WM 6.1 with Manilla 2D( a friend told me this is a nice program ) on my p3600, in a way, that WLAN still works with it?
i'm hopeful to get some help

First you need this little tool to unlock your Trinity

After that you can download each rom you Like and flash you Device.

HELPPP!!! i can't flash my wm5 rom to any other wm !!

hi at all,
after it came back from assistance i can't flash my pda wm5 with an other rom !!
Try to flah the rom from a pc with windows xp and after i've istalled hard spl 1.20, i've tried to flash a rom like nial,like finix anyone but nothing.
The Installation finish but don't instal many graphic items !! for example i can see up e down bar but not main desktop, and the rom doesn't work well !!
Seems that there is a protection that don't permit me to istall full rom !!!
PLEASE HELP ME AND SORRY MY ENGLISH !!!!!

Hi!! I am exactly with the same problem as you are. My Trinity came from assistance a week ago and now i can't uprgrade to any other rom's. It lacks visual efects such the manila or the wallpaper and in some rom's (yes I've tried lot's of them) the start menu doesn't open.
Help us please!!

good afternoon all.
recently i bought shift x 9500 the os windows vista chinese edition and the room in chinese too.
the seller told me that i can ask htc to change it,
but after i called the customer care they told me that htc cant change the default of the os n rom
they told me too i can change it by my self but the waranty will void after that.
so before i do something with my shift. its better to ask 1st .
can my shift bricked if i failed in os instalation or rom instalation ?
and i tried to find win7 os for notebook but i cant find it in microsoft website.
they said the download an trial are closed in march 2010
where can i find decent os n rom
any sugestion ?

You can brick your shift if You'll make mistake.
You can install WinXP or Win7 on your shift.It's possible.
Also you can change language of Winmo side by using liberated rom.In such case at first you should install HardSpl to unlock rom.After you can install any rom on your shift.
Seek on forums.

i made a other topic at the android os forum about my htc touch pro2.
i have a android on it. its not great it get stuck from time to time (schreen wil stay black if i try to unluck) so i want to give my windowsmobile os a other change are there good windows os for my phone. if so how can i instal it?

Hi Koetjeboe91,
just use Task 29 to clear your device if you used the NAND version and then download and install the latest ROM version from the htc homepage (e.g. European ROM) or if you want to use another rom use the provided flasher. It is that easy.
