Hi all,
Installed GR4 yesterday with the stock option pack just to get GB on my 2X, and very happy with it!. However, was wondering if the extreme option pack might be a bit quicker and have fewer LG 'features'. What's the process for switching from one option pack to another? Is it just a case of flashing the new one, or do I need to flash the core pack again?
Thanks in advance,
Colman

Based on Mod/Theme for Hyperdroid GBX 07/06/11 - By ElephantStone82
I used his work to learn and modify my own homebrew.
This is for those who like the look of MIUI but the speed of Hyperdroid and hopefully this should work when there is finally an updated release. * I do not recommend 167dpi - I myself use 220. No idea what it looks like in 167. Don't forget to disable "wallpaperhack" in adwEX.
Modifications:
Transparent Pulldown Menu
Modified power widget icons (nearly all modded)
Stock gingerbread wifi/cell/battery ! Looks awesome w/ transparent and works.
MIUI clock mod included
CWM update patch download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/m4le68b60clveyd/CWM-Shael-Transparent-Hyperdroid-MOD.zip
Is Status bar transparent too?
EDIT
Oh i see it is, but which launcher did you use?
Using adwEX (quite customized) finger up = brings up hidden dock, finger down =app drawer. I could share my setup files if you like.
My mod worked well for you? I haven't had feedback yet.

Hey guys!
Well I got a little confused... do we need ADW launcher to have this mod working? Or it will work in an Hyperdroid GBX stock rom?
EDIT: this is a patch correct? The only way to undo it is reflashing again.

will try it indeed. Thanks

Hey, did you get it working ?
It should work with no launcher, with launcher pro and with ADW.. but with ADW you must remember to un-check the box in the settings "Enable wallpaper hack"..
otherwise you should be good to go, i realized i ****ed up the gps icons when it's searching for satellites ! atleast for me it flashes a battery / headphone symbol - (and then finally the correct symbol once it locks) so i'm gonna fix that soon and re-upload, but other than that - yea it works great and i finally got my phone to look the way i wanted.. if anyone has any recommendations on how to improve it, let me know.
Cheers

Hello!
No I haven't try it yet but I will as soon as I do a backup. Don't want to mess up things without a backup just for the case that I don't like it, and then reinstall everything again...
Other question: This mod changes not only the opacity but also the task bar icons?

Been testing this for a couple days now, and it is pretty sweet! I'm glad it's released for all to try and hopefully this makes it big time
The one big thing I didn't like at first (personally) was the homescreen rotations, but found out how to turn that off pretty quickly. Other than that, I have no gripes. Give it a try guys/girls. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Mark, +1 on the progress bar for downloads. Noticed that last night...
Just a couple screens from my setup. I love the 3d transition setting!

You talk me up too much, but thank you. And hopefully i get the themeing down a little more. I'd like a better battery for sure, and some other little things here and there.
Gonna give this a try in a bit, but here's a modded SystemUI.apk removing the clock from the status bar. I like my real-estate up there, so I thought I'd share. I do it for every ROM, hope it's cool. It's the only thing modded in it, I'm gonna test it in about 30 minutes.
Nice, excited to see where this goes. Though I would be cautious about including LauncherPro with your rom. I did the same with mine, but was informed after the fact that it goes against his accepted use policy.
going to donwload now and install and give this a shot. Ive been looking for a new senseless ROM ever since SkyRaider no longer has support.
Ill let you know everything that may or may not go wrong =)

I saw that, and was wondering if that would be problematic for the OP.
i figured since i used the free version of Launcher Pro it wouldnt cause problems, if it does, i'll swap it out (hopefully without hassle). Thanks guys, i look forward to your feedback.
A side note, i've been getting decent battery life with fairly heavy use, about 7 hours.
I was getting pretty good battery as well. Until I installed Plants vs. Zombies again.... Lol but no, it's running pretty good. Charging has decent speed as well. Some kernels I had seen before took almost longer to charge the battery as it did to drain it with normal usage....

It might be because i learned the "proper" battery stats wipe procedure while using my X. lol. charge 100%>install rom> drain to 0%> charge to 100%> wipe.

Since this seems to be a popular request, I've modded the stock ICS Launcher2 from the CM9 source. Since I never use the extra home screens with the launcher, I modded Launcher2 for only 1 home screen.
I don't really have plans to create others with 2, 3, etc screens. I do plan on modding it to work smoother/faster and reduce the amount of animations etc so it feels fast (similar to reddv1's mod to the gingerbread launcher).
Here is a link to the diff/patch for those who want more screens and want to dig into the source themselves (note: it's not that hard to modify)
Source/Patch: Here
Update 12/5/11: It appears CM9 will most likely include the ability to set the number of home screens. The feature has not yet been merged with CM9 as of this writing, but on that note I probably wont be adding anymore updates. If it comes to it, I still may have plans to optimize the animations etc, but only time will tell since there is plenty to be worked on with CM9..
Download --> Copy to sdcard --> Flash with CWM:
v1.0: Download
v1.1: Download
[Changelog]
v1.1
- Updated to latest CM9 source which includes landscape, resize any widget, and hide search bar options
Thanks for this
just what i wanted thanks
the newest cm kang has landscape mode now
How great ill be honest the 17 extra screens are a Mega deal breaker for me I completely shunned ics. I was waiting for official cm9 to drop but now you have put out this gem I will be able.to bear with it!
Thank you!

Hi brenix,
Even through you have other plans. It will be great at least if you add an option under perferences - homescreen - " Number Of Screen". We can define how many screens we want in our homescreen. Adding other options like "Prevent Homescreen from restarting" would also be good.
Laymen like us would benefit from your great work as we don't have home customise for ICS.
Thank you for your consideration...
Good Work
Thanks for this
Anyone try this with official OTA?

Hello,
I've searched this forums a bit, but its hard to find some basic themes.
I'm looking for a theme that replaces some icons to the SGS2 icons, an extended power menu and the CM7 battery icon. Maybe the clear glass unlock but since JVU this is standard?
I used this theme http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1261080 which was perfect for me, cause it was basic and just had everything i wanted. The only problem is i think this guy wont update it anymore, cause there have been some request since JVZ, JW1 and now JVU, but still no responds..
Then i started looking and found this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405380 This looks ok, but i have some questions if it will not use extra RAM wich will slow my SGS down a little bit?
But if i will use this mod, i'm still looking for the SGS2 icons and the CM7 battery icon..
So in short: Can somebody help me to find one theme that has SGS2 icons + extended menu +CM7 battery (+ clear glass)
OR a different way to only flash SGS2 icons, flash CM7 battery, that i can combine with the 9lockmod mentioned above?
(all compatible for latest JVU)
Thank you!!
Can't post to the dev page 'cause I'm a n00bcake and they won't let me.
I'm running the new version of Pandoriam, and for some reason no matter the theme I pick or the battery options I select, I get a blue battery icon that always shows full even when checking in system>battery it tells the correct percentage of battery life. No idea why. I wiped and factory restored and wiped the cache before installing, and it's still buggy.
Hoping the dev will see this and tell me why.
Thanks
UPDATE: It does show battery consumption. But I'd chosen the blue circle one, and instead I've got a pale blue battery shaped image.
Why didnt you just PM me LOL its kind of a waste of a thread if you just need help personally anyways....... So can you tell me IIf you choose a theme does the theme change? For instance Status Bar etc... Or even the FULL theme does this change properly? Some of the Icons should change like the theme... And are you following the correct option for instance when it says you must choose this if you chose this etc you should know what I mean if you went through all the options.....?
I didn't PM you 'cause I don't wanna be that person who barely knows you who's ramming your inbox, and I also thought someone else might be having my problem... You dig? Anyway, sorry for wasting 1s and 0s...
Here are the selections I made. Battery and theme are not coming through for me. Phone runs fine though, so it's not THAT big a deal. But when I had 2.2 going my motomoto theme looked perfect. Plus I hate that faggy Samsung dandilion lock page:..

Hi, i have a n00by status too but okay, thats the way it goes....
I had some strange behaviors too, not pointed to a special rom. Here's the way it wirked for me ... and i have to do it like this everytime i flash a rom....
1. Complete Nandroid Backup (of course)
2. Boot recovery mode
3. Wipe data & wipe cache
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache & wipe Battery stats
5. Reboot recovery and then flash the rom.
I almost chose the same options like you did. Just took the standard clock rightbounded and camera sounds off. Evertything runs smooth, stable and quite fast. It's a beauty !!!!! btemtd did a fantastic job !!!!
