I tried using the sdk and android vnc and the same thing keeps happening.
If you are wanting to record video of your screen use this app..
ScreenCast
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.ms.screencastfree&feature=search_result
Works great on the Droid 3. I bought the paid version after trying out the free.
I know about the app but I want something I can use on my pc. Like have a live feed on my desktop.

Any way at all to keep browser open in background so that I can lock it and have something streaming still? I've been listening to radio 1 from the BBC and I always have to keep it unlocked and have the browser open....

Use skyfire.
Nope. I'm curious as to why no one else has posted this before. I stream music and I don't want my battery to be drained cause of the screen being on. Is there a setting in sky fire that I am missing?

Hi,
Is there any app that can be used to make your phone act like a webcam? For instance is there a way to use the phone's camera with skype to make video calls?
Yes loads lol have you searched the market?

Yes I have and I found only one which is no longer developed.
P.S.
There are many apps in the market but they don't do what I want. As far as I see most of them make your phone stream content that you can watch from your browser, but so far I can't find a program that can use your phone for video calls with skype.
You tried IP Webcam by Pas? Its on the market, and works great. Best of all, its free.
There's also Droidcam, which has drivers for Linux and Windows. The paid version of it apparently can transmit sound, but only with Windows. I tried an older version with Linux and it worked well.
droid cam is a good shout, i use it and its easy to use.
Thanks guys.
I tried IP Webcam. It seems the program has the necessary feature, however I have to download third party drivers for windows, so will try it later.
Will check droid cam too.
Hey guys I was just wondering if it were possible to modify
the YouTube app or even develop a new one that can gain full access to the website (no more unavailable on mobile devices ) and the ability to turn off the screen while listening to normal music videos (no music stopping ).
I find it annoying to have the screen on while just listening to a normal song which mainly display still pictures

Flash do not support Android 4.0+ anymore. If you side-loaded it use it as is "at your own risk"
Yeah i know bout the loss of support but as they(whoever made it possible to install on jellybean) made it work beside clicking prob i was thinking it wouldnt be insanely hard to make it just single click as its only a minor problem but i dont know the source of the problem if i did i could maybe find a way to fix it. maybe... I dont know much but id learn as i go ; )
I'm having the same issue. Stock browser on the Nexus 7.
Interestingly, if you use Firefox, flash works perfectly. It seems to be the highlight effect Browser gives to plugins when you tap on it. If we could disable this highlight deal, I bet it would work as intended.
For me, it works if I swipe across the video instead of tapping on it.
I have a hisense sero 7 pro and have the same swf doubleclick problem and was wondering if anyone has found a solution
My fix was naked browser.

Hey I recently got my awesome chromecast in the mail. I was wanting to start using Amazon prime instant video, but for now I was wanting to use my downloaded movies. I know I need a computer to do most casting but I don't have access to one at the moment. I looked online to see how I could steam my own files. It took to a download page to air cast apk. But when I tap on it it immediately goes back to my home screen. Like opens up real fast and stops. I checked two locations and the same thing happened. For the time being what can I do ?
