I'm running theofficial rom, froyo(2.2.1), on g1. I'm trying to get a pink theme for my wife. I can't get anything to take with metamorphosis and every flashable theme i have tried results in a bootloop. Please help me guys!
Do you have a link to a pink theme that you like? I can probably get it where you can flash it on Enomther's ROM. Send me a PM, if so.
Just FYI - flashables generally will only work on the ROM and version for which they were designed.

Thank you very much but I've since gone to roalex's gingerbread and am using a generic pink cm7 theme. I wouldn't be happy to forward you the link to the theme my wife would prefer if u think u can fix it for this rom.

Here's a new MDPI Metamorph theme for the gals and real men who aren't afraid of pink. It is a modification of Rhamej's theme style with some added changes of my own. Metamorph is required. Enjoy and Happy Easter!
This should work on most Froyo deodexed ROMS using MDPI resolution.

Bummer, I'm playing with two gb Roms now and loving them. If we end up going back to froyo ill for sure use it. Thank u very much for your help.

Please let me know what else you think should be themed.
It can be found in the Theme Manager. It's under the name "Completely Pink" but I dont think there is a preview yet. It requires a reboot to theme everything

If your ROM has the Theme Chooser in it, than yes.
Install APK
Open Theme Chooser
Look for Completely Pink (doesnt have a preview image yet)
Apply
Reboot
This is a Mod of the CM7.1 Ring Lock that I made using some images from the ICS SDK.
NOTE: Before you flash you need to make sure you have the Ring Lock available in your CM7.1 Rom, by going to Menu, CyanogenMod Settings, Lockscreen, Style Options, Lockscreen Style.
Just flash in recovery and you should be good to go.
Use Metamorph or zipthemer to apply the morphs.
Flash at your own risk make a backup before you continue.

Updated the file "ICS_Lock_Framework_CM7.1_Nightly_HDPI_Only.zip" to work with the new nightly's. This is for the people who can't get the morphs or recovery patcher to work. As stated before this will replace your framework-res.apk completely.
It is confirmed that the current morphs and recovery patchers work with the new singe Ring unlock option.

What am I doing wrong? flashed in recovery twice, both times I am still getting original LS. Do I need to disable something or wipe DK?
What is in the "zip" file in the patch directory and how can i open it?
I have always preferred the sliding tabs, even after CM7 introduced the circles. However, this is a really slick implementation with the ICS graphics. I will be using this as my default for sure. Thanks for posting.

I assume you are using CM7.1 If so you need to go into the lockscreen settings and select the Ring Style for the lockscreen.
how come i dont have the circle in the middle. i only have it on the left and the right

I am on nightly 227 and I already was using ring. I tried switching to something else and the back and I still get the default cm ring lockscreen.

because you need to have custom app starter selected in the lockscreen style setting and choose your applications. Select Custom application and click add on the popup and select up to 4 applications

If you like CWM, 4EXT is awesome, many more abilities and I have yet to have a n issue with it yet. I will try flashing a CWM recovery and try that.
Update.....flashed CWM and still no go. Not sure what I am doing that no one else is. It seems pretty straight forward.
I flashed it in recovery. Now I go to CM7 lockscreen settings and the ring mode doesn't even appear in the style popup..

try going rebooting into CWM recovery and going to "install zip from sd card, and select toggle signature verification and then flash the zip. Let me know if that works
Back by popular demand (sort of) the glass theme for Legend 1.1 or 1.2, updated with more theming.
*Fixed some graphical errors*
You must be using Legend 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 or it may mess things up for you.
Just copy to your SDCard and flash using CWM.

Be honest with you, I don't know, I would think so since they have the same 9 toggles and lockscreens, but the resources could be different.
Here is a list of CM9/AOKP themes fully mdpi supported
As of now the list is small but as themers will continue their fantastic work and create more themes this list will increase
PROCEDURE TO APPLY:
1. Download the apk or app from the play store
2. If its a direct apk connect your phone via usb and put the apk in the root of your SD card
3. On device install the apk like any other normal application.
4. Go to settings --> Themes--> select system theme --> apply. then reboot
5. Go to settings again --> themes--> select the theme that you just installed --> click apply. Reboot again.
Reboots are not necessarily needed but just to avoid any problems..always do the reboot part.
On to the themes now..

I just added a step by step 5 point guide on how to install the theme and apply it
for ice9 and gingerice, after reboot the phone.apk crash xD, it isn't compatible
