I had this on my dx and it was one of the best roms I ever used and now its on the d3 its still a work in progress. Its almost a blurless rom just a few things still blur. But its running great.

There's a separate thread in the Liberty section over there for bugs.
Installed easy. Quick and AOSP like. No fc's yet.
Its all realy good very crisp and smooth. Haven't noticed any bugs my self but I'm not a tester so I don't know what to look for
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
To be honest, I haven't run across a single bug either. The phone never force closed, the camera works fine, wifi is good, and the UI is clean and smooth. This may be due to the fact that extra features haven't been added yet, but if this is a sign of things to come, then I'm 100% satisfied! I finally see what all the DX and D2 owners were raving about for so long!
Sent from my DROID3 using xda premium
Is anyone getting a little lag when going from screen to screen. I switched to adw and its still there.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
Loved Liberty on my DX, good to see it on Droid 3. I'm running it as my daily for now until CM7 is more functional.
By the way OP, it has the same built in screen shot feature that CM does. Hold the power button.
Sent from my DROID3 using xda premium
Re flashed it to see if the home screen lag goes away and it seems better.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
Im getting a FC on Mobile Hotspot.
The only issue I have with the ROM is the battery drain… the firmware itself is fine, but it sucks the soul out of my battery! I went from a full charge to 56% in an hour and 40 minutes. Granted I'm a big of a heavy user, but that kind of drain is insane… I trust some battery optomization will come in RC2, so I'm not too worried.
Sent from my DROID3 using xda premium
I installed this but when I looked in the /sys/devices/virtal/bdi/179:0/read_ahead it still said 128 from what I saw it should of been set at 2048 so I an wondering if the other tweaks are working.
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
RC1 is just the base system, a "shell" if you will. The remainder of the releases will have additional features and more tweaks, from what I understand…

So can anyone get into contact with the dev and ask him to make a legit thread here on xda?? I kind of don't wanna make a new account at another furom that I'm not gunna use just to ask him to make a thread over here lol
Sent from my DROID3 using XDA App
I'll ask, but I seriously doubt Kejar's going to do it. Dev abandonment is an unfortunate part of being part of the XDA community… many devs simply don't want to deal with the trolling and headaches around here. The thread has been up on Rootzwiki for 4 days, and there's only like 11 posts…if that thread were here, we'd be 30 pages deep (mostly in garbage) by now. Like I said, I'll submit a request to Kejar, but don't be surprised if I get a negative response… :-\

i've been using the ultimate bionic theme for go launcher since the lg revolution came out, its freaking awesome. then the first thing i did when i got my bionic on sep. 8th was install this theme, and i found out recently that the same developer of the theme also makes it for ADW. and he responds really quick if you have any questions or requests.
Yeah I'm loving it!

Guys, the theme, and indeed, ALL of Android Utopia's work has been pulled from the market. I talked to the dev, Brian, yesterday, and he's filed an appeal, and is also applying to the Amazon App store so he can get his work back up. Unfortunately, this theme won't be available until Google lets him back in, or until the work gets cleared over at Amazon. Just wanted to shed some light on the issue.

Hello to anybody who reads this. I was wondering if there was any themes for Cyanogenmod 9 that gave your phone that old look that the older Android phones have ( like 2.2 and earlier). If not, is there any possibility that the classic android theme "Retro Droid" for CM7 could be ported to this platform? Thank you for any responses. If anybody doesn't know what I'm talking about, its this theme, the status bar in particular.

The thanks bar is officially meaningless. Maybe it should just be removed.
Or, maybe thanks should only be given when either a) a developer makes something and posts it on XDA, or b) someone asks a question and they receive/instructions to fix their broken phones.
Alternatively, give XDA an age requirement of 21, or at least 18. If only it was possible to verify

The main reason software ships with bugs is that the testing size usually a tens to hundreds of people (usually internal to the manufacturer and/or the carrier). When software is released to everyone (thousands to millions) there are bound to be situations that the testers didn't have that cause problems (mainly caused by the nonsupported development community such as XDA and others). The general rule is to make something work and seems to be functioning in all the major categories and then filter new bug reports and patch them as they show up.

Anybody tested out the kernel yet? Any good/bad reviews? Im itching to try it out so bad, but I tried the other kernel in the G2 development thread by Wooster (i think) and it jacked my phone up a lil bit. Wouldnt officially connect to Sprint network and wouldnt let me update my profite while I was on it. So I'm waiting to hear some feedback before I try this one out to save me the headache. A good custom kernel is the last piece of the puzzle I need to be totally happy on a STOCK ROM for damn near the first time ever lol. Loving my Xposed tweaks now...just need that custom kernel to make it officially official lol.
Does anyone know if this helps with disabling the Screen Adaptive brightness? To get rid of the low brightness flicker while browsing web pages.
I'm using it and I really haven't had any issues. I download No Frills CPU and it's clocked at 2.496 GHz max and 300 MHZ min with ondemand governor. I do see an improvement on my battery but that's with slight usage. That's all the info I have for now hope this helps:good:

Frequencies are handled properly now. CPU isn't handled to clock up all cores to max when benchmarking applications are run anymore. OEMs do this a lot and it's considered cheating. That's why the Nexus 5 doesn't score as high in bechmarks, because AOSP doesn't cheat.
