Extra battery and charger - LG Optimus 2x

Hello,
I was thinking of buying an extra battery for my o2x as the stock one drains very fast. I read some threads but in vain! I ask you guys to suggest me one, prefferably one which last longer than the stock one. Also I need an external charger which would charge it fast as I don't want it to charge it in like 7 or 8 hours.
P.S. I want the battery to be same size as the stock one. And the seller should ship to India.
Thank You!

I'm happy with my Andida1980mAh battery. For charging just use a 1000mAh charger with USB-cable, it charges just as fast as the original LG charger.

How long does it last and with how much use?

Hi!
I'm using 2430MAH FL-53HN GOLD BATTERY FOR LG OPTIMUS 2X P990
Here is what I said some days ago in the other tread:
I'm using it for two weeks now. Trying different roms - CM, Topogigi. With the stock one, my phone lasts for two days and at the end of day two it is at 10-15%. With the 2430 Mhz battery, my phone lasts for tree days and at the end of the third day it is again at 10-15%. One day more! That's more than enough for me. I do not use mobile net and 3G, but use a lot of Wi-Fi.

It is same size as stock. I highly recommend it!

How long have you been you using it? I saw somewhere that a person used this battery and after some months their phone was unusable.
Sent from my LG-P990 using XDA App

Well, I have much shorter experience - 3 weeks approximately. Works fine so far.
BTW, I've ever been using non original batteries with all my previous phones and cameras. Luckily I never had a problem so far. For an example I used 3-4 USD batteries with my 1000 USD camera, and they both performed better than the original one.

Well I guess i‘ll buy it then.
How do you manage your battery (stock) to last two days?!
I barely manage to make it last 6hrs after playing, texting, surfing and downloading stuff. With very less stand by.

My phone was pretty impressive today, got around 4 hours screen on time with loads of GPS usage.. Secret is lowest brightness and undervolted CPU I guess. Helps trimming down on background apps too, uninstalled skype for the day as I forgot my spare batteries.

Well!
Screen brightness on mine is also lowest and I will not consider undervolting it!

I don't use it too heavy I guess. No 3G, no mobile net and I do not play usually - no time for it. But I use a lot of WiFi.
Some days ago I undervolted the phone with -50Mv. Now with te 2430Mhz one it last 4 full days.

If you do not mind carrying multiple.batteries.. here's an option:

What kernel are you using? If you're using custom rom, it is better to use custom kernel such as horsepower kernels, it really adds a significant amount of milage per charge. I'm currently on Horsepower RC 11 build 2.

At 11$ (with shipping) its quiet a bargain but I can assure you they won't last long and I would really prefer a battery which gives more hours than more batteries which give less hours. I am on CM latest kang atm.

At $2.80 I got 30 charges, before one of the two batteries died. Worth it considering I'm not sure if it actually died or not. My other ones kind of falling apart though.

[Q] Are these batteries any good?

Well, i was browsing stuff on ebay, and came across these batteries very cheap (0.11 cents plus 9 bucks shipping) and i wanted to know if they were any good or if they would blow up my phone.
I bought these for the hell of it. still waiting to receive them
Me too, and there was just 1 minute left before the bid ended XP
I got 2. Maybe it was something software wise but my battery indicater was all over the map. It once said I had 52% left and then after a reboot it said 74% they work great as a backup but I wasn't too happy using them as my primary batteries. The stock one registered fine before and after. I even tried clearing the battery stats and tried again with the same results.

Hello, I'm new here and was looking around and saw this thread. I have these batteries and charger. They are as good as the stock battery and the charger works good. I also got two of the 3500mah with a charger and back cover for $22.99. I'm getting over 44hrs uptime with them. I am currently at 68% with 22 hrs uptime and 4.5 hrs awake time. They've gotten better after three charges. It's nice to go a whole day without worrying about juice.

1980mah Andida battery

FYI on a thread I started on this battery over in the g2x group.. So far, it seems promising. I'll keep it updated as I receive responses from those that are using the battery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104665
well they seems quite afraid of this ....
Sounds interesting, will keep a eye on this thread, hopefully some full tests will be done on the battery.

i was using this brand when i have my desire z, the battery itself is really giving some extra time, but it get "fat" fast when compared with original. "fat" means reduce battery saving power. so, if compared with the original one, in long term usage, andida won't give you any good compared with original one.
I've just buyed one. I think that this could extend a lot my battery life. At least with OEM battery I coul ony use my phone for 12 houres
I have bought and received the battery now. Seems fine, but I will need more time to really notice any difference. Aslo, my stock battery kept my phone running for 40 hours on a single charge (phone is running on CM7 based ROM, stock ROM never lasted that long, 20 hours max).
So? Worth buying or not?

I have bought this battery. http://www.energizerpowerpacks.com/ch/products/xp2000/
I am always carrying a bag with me so when the phon is not used I plug it in. Does a great job actually. I have a freind in Greece experiencing the worst case scenario with a dodgy battery namely a small explosion which destroyed his HTC and received some minor burns on his pointer finger.

How often do you charge your nexus per day?

Like the title said. How often do you charge your Nexus 4 each day. Pleas take into consideration that you let your N4 run at least under 30% before charging. If you can go on without recharging your battery for more than one day please post the numbers of days.
I charge once a day. I get 12-16 hours of battery life from what I consider an average day attached are screenshots from yesterdays battery life

Yep, same. I've even had 40 hours out of it once, but only because I was in meetings for 2 days and the screen was off for 8 hours at a time. that was fully charged to completely dead.
Really happy with the battery life so far, I was being conservative on my last phone with battery however now I've got this I don't really think about it so much.

I'm only a light user though.
Once - Over night
Last's all day wifi on 8hrs - BT 1hr - texting & a few calls
Depends. When I'm at home I charge once per day, but when in at work it just sits on my desk charging. I normally use the phone more at work then I do at home, so it's hard for me to tell if I could really get through a whole day work my normal usage. I have done about 12-14 hours or so with a couple hours of screen time and still had 15% left. To me, the battery has been about 25 percent better than the gnex.

I still love my Nexus 4 and it performs well still but the battery life is now beyond dire, charging it 3 times a day.
Is it worth paying a firm to replace the battery? My thoughts are that I can just put that money towards an inevitable replacement in the near future.

I just replaced the battery in my N4. It was simple, requiring only a small torx driver and a small Phillips, plus a pry tool. The battery was cheap on Amazon and says it is an LG battery.
The old battery would no longer charge at all.

I still get 4h of SoT, and 10-12 hours battery time - so I am still quite happy with my N4. Unfortunately the camera really sucks (even more now) so I will replace the beloved N4 soon.

Yeah, I am having intermittent camera issues, a lot of photos come out black even in good light.
It's another excuse to upgrade I guess, has been a great phone though.
I think I should try the battery swap thing, mine just cannot get more than an hour and a half of SOT no matter what combination of ROM, Kernel and Android version I try, and using it during my daily commute means I arrive at my workplace at already 60% even if I'm on extremely low screen brightness. Greenify doesn't help either because it's the actual screen on what kills it, as long as the screen is off the battery drain is negligible.
Worst part is that every single battery out there is a fake, just with a very high-quality copied sticker on it. AFAIK the only way to get a new original battery is through LG and for a price you'd be better just getting a new Moto E 3rd gen for a little bit more and call it a day.

Optimus 2x Extended Battery 3200mah

Hello guys,

Then here we go, if you are from India, then surprisingly on ebay.in there is a sale of Seidio Extended Battery 3200mah for O2x at just 1800rupees($35 approx) which is very low price for Seidio Battery.
If you are really interested then grab it from the below link:

Note: I'm just trying to help the one who are in need of Extended battery, I'm not selling my items here.

Hey there,
Ive tried the battery with 3500 mAh, but it isnt that much better. Max 3 ours.
I also tried the andida 1950 battery, this one does also not provide a better battery life.
I have just bough another 1500 mAh one from obostore, this is is just working similar as the 3500 mAh one.
Strange but true.
Im on Ics, 4.0.4.

S+ Battery for I9000

I think the difference is only the capacity...so the battery should work in the "normal" S!

is there some advantage because of the 150mAh more capacity??? is the online-time really a little longer???

No i toughed i found a normal size 2900 mha battery but it was a fake one. I do have a 3500 mAh battery which comes with an extra big battery cover because it is thicker than the stock battery, and i am very happy with it! I dont always use it, but it is very useful sometimes, like when going to a festival for a weekend, or when you are on vacation and need to travel a long time.
Also, now my stock battery is almost dead, and i ordered a new 2350 mAh battery which is as big as the stock battery (so no need for thicker battery cover). In three weeks he will arrive and i can tell if it works good.
Btw. I always order these stuff on dealextreme.com. its really cheap and it is really reliable/safe. Only downside is that it has very long delivery time (depends on where you live, mostly around two weeks or more).
