I've been wondering about this for quite a while. Most (if not ALL) of the Gingerbread builds we have are "leaks", therefore, incomplete. They are ALL incomplete, and buggy.
However, many sources claim that the i9000 is officially upgradeable to 2.3.
So I would like to know, has Samsung released an official Gingerbread build for Galaxy S in any part of Europe, and which build is it?
Thank you very much.

I assumed that JVT was just another leak. Isn't that the case?
UK (XEU) latest is 2.3.4 JVQ
I just downloaded an official 2.3.3 (kg3) from kies for my i9000m.

Ive just flashed juwe's 5.0 and now there is no baseband version meaning i cant make or recieve calls or anything like that. What do i do?
You've flashed correctly and done all the steps described in the flashing manual? If you had Froyo before: did you flash a Gingerbread-firmware including bootloader?

I was on gingerbread jvp so I assumed I already had the gingerbread bootloaders, correct?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Well, if you update from Froyo to Ginger via Odin you have to flash a Ginger-vresion including the bootloaders (here on XDA there are mostyl versions WITH and version WITHOUT bootloader available, and you need one WITH bl.).
You could try to flash a modem seperatly with Odin, but normally everything should work with Juwe's 5.0.
But i wasnt on froyo, i was on gingerbread so i must of already had gingerbread bootloaders? Anyway if i didnt have the bootloaders why did it still boot me into juwe 5.0?
Hm, ok. Were you able to make calls with your previous Ginger-ROM?
If I was you I'd flash stock-Ginger again and - if the telephone-function works - flash Juwe's 5.0.
Yes I was able to make calls.

Not correct, there are seperatly modems for CM7 for example. But for Samsung-based ROMs you are right.
