Help: LG Thrill boot logo looping - LG Thrill 4G

Hi, yesterday I rooted my phone using "Super1click" and it went well. Today, I was just listening to music, and then my phone rebooted and now it gets stuck on the "AT&T Rethink possible" screen and it keeps looping. Since I have been using iOS for the past 4 years, I am pretty new to Android. What can I do to "restore" the phone like I would ro restore an iPhone?
I have no clue what to do at this point

Hold volume down, 3d, and then hold power until the lg logo shows up. Then release all buttons, this will start recovery select the option to wipe all data, not sure what caused this to happen, also if you are under 30 data you could exchange it.

'safe mode'

i have 'safe mode' showing in bottom left of my screen. what on earth is it?
Restart the device
I had accidentally put my EVO 4G LTE into Safe Mode once before, and I can't remember how I did it. It's built directly into Android, but should fix itself by restarting the device.
From what I saw the other day when I did it lol. Just starts system apps and certain servicrs

I don't know about the One, but my N7 will ask to boot into safe mode if you hold "Power Off" for a couple of seconds.

[Q] (Q) HELP, HTC one, black screen, both buttons flashing

Hi I really need help with my HTC one,
I came back to it while it was charging, and the screen was on displaying dialog box saying that the phone will restart in one second. I barely had time to read the text but the phone went to a full black screen with both the back button and the home button flashing. Now these two buttons are constantly flashing even though I'm not holding any of the volume or power buttons down.
So both buttons have been flashing for over an hour now and they keep going. I've tried holding down the power button nothing happens. I tried holding down the volume keys nothing happens. Power and volume down...nothing.
I need some help thanks

Sounds maybe like a hardware problem? Try holding down power button while holding the phone directly under a bright light for around 30secs. If that doesn't work try power and volume down together, again under a bright light until your bootloader screen appears.

Bright light helped,
Power button managed to get the HTC quietly brilliant screen, but then goes to black screen and back to that htc screen again and again...
Power and volume down gets me to bootloader screen but within a few seconds I get back to the same looping htc screen...

Wait a minute...
Got passed that screen, saw my wallpaper, then it booted again...and again, and again...
Would it be because I was too anxious and went to the bootloader screen too many times?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Every time I go to the bootloader screen, I barely have time to do anything before I get back to the looping htc screen.
Now, for some reason, I got a screen with an exclamation mark in a triangle over a phone, stayed on for about two minutes, then back into the looping htc quietly brilliant screen...

Are you running everything stock? Recovery, unrooted, etc?

Stock, not rooted,
How would I know if I'm in recovery...? So most likely I would guess that I wasn't, unless I am now since fiddling around the bootloader screen (like I said, on that screen I have about two seconds where I can move up or down but then I don't have time to select an option and the phone goes to the HTC screen...)

You probably weren't in recovery. Did you get the phone new or used? If your bootloader screen says **LOCKED** at the top of the screen and you got it new, if it were me I'd take it back to where I got it.
Sorry I can't help more, maybe someone else can help if they've seen this before..

Got it new, says locked on top of the bootloader screen.
Factory reset at that point?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Don't ask me how but now I'm passed the booting screen and can use the phone.
BUT, both buttons are flashing...
Also, can't restart...holding the power button down won't do anything

Like I said, if it were me I'd take it back for repair/replacement. That's not normal - especially for a device that's completely stock.

i'd try a factory reset if you can boot it.. if this does not help send it in for warranty.
How did you end up getting this fixed. I'm just getting this same problem and I have no clue how to fix it.

Factory Recovery??

I can't seem to get my phone to boot into recovery. I do the power-volume up and it boots to a "Hardware key control mode" but it boots to system after that. Am I missing something.
I have the t-mobile LG D959 G FLEX TITAN SILVER KIT. That is how it is listed on the box.
Turn phone completely off, make sure it is unplugged from the charge cable. Then hold volume down and power together until you see the screen say recovery mode. First it will show the LG splash screen. You must continue to hold it until you see the words recovery mode.

I thought it was power and volume up not down. BUT, it doesn't matter which volume key, they both bring me to the hardware key control window. It stops there to select on off or cancel. From this screen, you have to make a selection which requires you to release the buttons. Once leaving this screen with whatever choice is made it boots up to system. Yes phone is unplugged and a complete shutdown is made.
I'm on the Sprint version and the way I said gets me into recovery. It's strange that it doesn't work for you. Just to make sure. I start off by holding volume down then I push and hold power with it until recovery mode shows

Leave the power button when you see the logo. And continue pursuing rest of the key

These are the instructions from the t-mo user manual:
Power off the device and ensure it is not connected to any USB cables.
At the same time, press and hold the following keys for 8 seconds:
Power key
Volume down key
When the LG Logo is displayed, release and then immediately re-hold the Power key.
When the 'FACTORY HARD RESET' screen displays, release the keys.
Press the Power key to reset or one of the Volume keys to cancel.
Press the Power key to confirm the reset. The reset will start immediately.
Still can't get recovery, so I went into Titanium Backup, and rebooted to recovery from there. Reboots, I see the android with a little diamond kinda thing in his torso for probably less than a second, screen goes black and LG logo pops up and it boots system. Curious if this can be attributed to rooting? Any other ROOTED tmo users confirm they can boot to recovery, please.
I used supsersu to unroot and was able to achieve recovery. Re-rooted and no recovery.????
this may be a silly question, but have you flashed CWM or TWRP?(not sure if there are versions for this phone)

No, stock phone except for root, I prefer TWRP and am waiting. This is really a snappy phone and I am happy with it the way it is for now. Been a long time since I had a stock phone, and this one works great so far. Not in any hurry to put a custom rom on it, Not to good with ADB, but I want to make a recovery image.
I never had a LG phone before, so I am not sure if your problem getting into recovery comes from the fact you are rooted, but still have a stock recovery instead of a custom one like twrp/CWM..
I cant decide on this phone, the Xperia Z1S, or the note 3; I have to drop Sprint this week because their network sucks and my family cant make calls from the house, and I cant decide which phone to get..
love the way the flex feels and looks, but its 4.2; sony screen is a bit small coming form a One Max and Note 2, and the Note 3 is kinda boring....tons of roms to choose from for the note 3..
decisions, decisions...the beauty of Android! :cyclops:
I messed up and flashed a wrong recovery now I need the stock img anyone have it? ?

Factory Reset issues

Hi all,
Putting up this post because I am at my wits end! I have had my Galaxy Tab S2 now for about a month. Just recently I would be using it and it would seem to start lagging a bit, and then without warning it would basically either power cycle, or just freeze and power off. Upon restarting, everything would go as per normal, and then after a few minutes it would happen again.
Went through the process of backing everything up so I could factory reset. This was a strange experience. The files would begin transferring to the backup media, and then the process would freeze, and the power cycle happen again. What made it strange was that if I kept touching the screen, the transfer would continue. Leave it to its own devices and it would freeze and power down or power cycle. Anyways, managed to get what I could off it. On to a factory reset.
Ensuring it was off, I pressed the power and volume up buttons, ending up with a screen with the android robot. Then it shows a screen with the android robot on its side and an exclamation mark above it. Finally to the recovery screen. Here things got a bit hinky too. I would use the volume up/down keys to move through the options available, and then found that the up/down buttons became unresponsive. Frustrated I touched the screen a couple of times and what do you know, the selected choice would move according to what volume button pressed. OK that's weird, and what do you know, after a while it reboots irregardless of choice.
Finally managed to get it to factory reset, wipe everything and on start launch into the setup procedure. "Yay" thought I, "Nay" thought the tablet. Now i'm stuck with a tablet that gets about halfway through the process, freezes, then reboots or powers off. Thing is, it ALWAYS seems to happen at a point in which keyboard interaction is required. I get about halfway through typing my name and snap.
So yeah I have no idea. I'm thinking it could have something to do with battery, however, this all still occurs even if it is plugged into a source. So before I go about trying to work out how to get the back off, I thought I would ask for some advice here!
Seriously, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Chyr0n

Yeah, it's new and is not rooted. Why not going thru warranty and get a new one?

Boot loop on initial flash screen

On rooted ZV6. I was using the phone as usual. I went to open an app (Weather Channel, though I don't believe that matters) and the phone froze. It did the self-restart, however it sits at the very first LG flash screen, turns off for a second, then starts again. Continual boot loop.
I've popped the battery, tried a different battery, tried with the SD in and out, all with the same results. I tried holding down volume down and power, it gives me the booting into recovery screen, then goes back into the boot loop.
I've seen the talk about the ZV9 OTA, but there was no sign of an update in progress when the system crapped out initially.
If I'm reading the code under the back cover right, the phone was made back in May, which makes me worry that it's the known faulty hardware issue. Does anyone have any ideas I can try before going through the hell of riding Sprint for a replacement? I would be forever in your debt for something to save my phone. Thanks in advance for any advice.
EDIT: After screwing around with holding down volume buttons at random times, it will sometimes get to the Sprint Spark animation, but no boot sound, then as I was typing this edit, it magically booted proper, and powered down, and is boot looping again. What the hell.
