Hi All
Really need help with this.. my touch diamond screen is having this misalignment problem.
When i touch one key, another key on the other side of the screen will light up..
Must keep on pressing the key i want then the alignment will go back. Is a very frequent problem almost like wake up from standby then the screen will get misaligned..
Any one experiencing the same problem?
Using official HTC rom..
Hi there
I'm quite happy with my Nexus One... a very nice change from my old BlackJack 2. However, I have one issue.
When I get an incoming call, sometimes the screen won't wake up at all. Pressing the trackball, etc. does no good. I installed a program called noblock and now it's waking up after the call is over, but the other end has to hang up first.
This has to have something to do with the screen lock in relation to the proximity sensor or something. I'd really love it if I could just set the screen lock to manual, so I can press the power button to turn the screen off and on, getting rid of the slide to unlock screen entirely.
I tried a fix from an older thread to disable the proximity sensor, but it had no effect. It was adding a line (gsm.proximity.enable=false) to build.prop.
Can anyone give me a direction to go? Thanks!
i have some issues with turning my screen on sometimes, it will come on briefly and turn off with just the backlight for capacitive buttons on
2.3.4 ? Are you sure ?
It's some CM nightly ?
How can I get to wake up phone by capacitive buttons? I mapped "search" key to "power' in keylayout => it can turn off screen, but can't wake up. What can I do?
In theory there are hardware buttons, so is limited by software. How to disable that?
Well, the softkeys aren't actually "hardware-buttons" like VolUp/Down and GKey, i think. For me it would be very surprisingly if it works. I doubt it.
Waking up the phone bye proximity sensor (responsible for making the screen dimmed when phoning) would be very nice, in case od the phone just lies on the table and you want to do sth quickly.
Unfortunatly i didn't find an app or sth similar which can do this.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: I found an apps called "tap tap app".. doesn't work properly on cm nightly 70 though..

I now that - Pocket Sensor =) It work on CM, tested on P970 & P500. I don't used it because i want to wake up phone manually)
I think it also related with the driver at kernel stage... so the Vol Up/Down and G-Key are supposed to be mapped at the driver.. But I don't know about capacitive buttons, perhaps it can also remapped..

Read thread about remapping g button. There are at least two.
Hi guys, I know this is an old topic but I am looking for same solution that I know works because I have been using this method on my Galaxy S2 (t989) with HellKat rom.
With Hellkat rom installed on a Galaxy S2 (t989) aka Hercules, you can touch all capacitive buttons in one particular order only which is from left to right.
You first touch the options button then home, back and search button. As soon as search button is pressed the device wakes up.
I am now running Lollypop and am wondering if this was a function possible through an app?

Hi There,
I just flashed my cappy to the HellyBean ROM, and everything works great! Thanks for such a nice ROM.
While using it I found one small issue,It could be a setting issue which I'm unable to figure so please help me out.
When i had gingerbeard, it used to light the bottom 4 softkeys(Setting,HOME,BACK,SEARCH) all the time so that I can press them when i'm using the phone in dark. But in Hellybean, those 4 LEDs are not lit when the touch screen is used, those 4 buttons are lit only when I press in the Bottom area.
Please let me know how to make them ON even when i'm using the touchscreen area?
Thanks,
Raj
On stock there's an option in display settings for keeping the front key lights on for as long as the screen is on, which I'd really like to have on offical CM 10.1 but there's obviously no such option. On Dexter_nlb's CustoNexus Soft Buttons Light worked a charm but it doesn't seem to work on CM now. Has anyone had any luck with similar apps? I can't be the only one who wants it, since it's an option in stock.
This ROM has it in the options.
