Hey Folks;
Just a heads-up that tpu-cases.com is accepting pre-orders for their matte black and matte smoked cases for our Bionics with the extended battery covers. Expected shipping date is between the 27th & 28th October. Yes,... Tomorrow or Friday. It is $12.90. Just got done ordering mine.
I am not anyway affiliated with or have any vested interest in TPU-CASES.COM. Only a Bionic owner wanting to pass the word.
Take care,
Tony
Thanks, just ordered one.
Here's the link straight to them.

Just got mine and have to say this is a nice case with at a great price. It looks good and offers a lot of protection. All ports etc are available and it adds minimal bulk, fits very snug. I'd take a pic but my phone's my only camera! Highly recommend. Again, I appreciate tpu-cases.com updating us in a different thread. More companies should be as pro-active as them!
Will be ordering mine on Tuesday

Just received mine after ordering mid-week. Fits great and I am jonesing to have some actual battery life now. It's not Otterbox-quality coverage, but good enough for office use.
Mine came today after ordering Wednesday. Fits nicely, smooth not sticky, all ports and buttons are open. Very nice case, well worth the $12.90.
Been waiting for this. Just ordered mine...
Received mine a few days ago and loving it. Great material.
Just received mine; awesome fit-and-finish, and am happy to report that it it fits the cardock (with the cardock insert removed). Excellent! =)
Received mine today, couldn't be happier with the product. Everything I wanted in an extended case, nothing I didn't...

Ordered Thursday, received Monday.
Ordered day before they started shipping any, got three days later, so actually two days.
Love the case no issues with either the desktop or the car docks.
Does this fit over the wireless charging back plate?
ordered after 3, and still got same day shipping, it's on it's way to me already
Probably gonna give this a try...been wanting the extended battery but not willing to give up my defender case
It arrived today, frickin awesome delivery time. Took less than 48 hours to get to me.

They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.
Just ordered that case as well. Can't beat that price with prime shipping.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Nice. I just ordered it too (got the last one). I tried canceling my earlier Moko case order but wasn't able to in time. Assuming this case is good, I'll just return the other one for credit.

I received my armorshield screen protector yesterday and just installed it this morning. Had no issues, used the wet solution that came with it. I agree it is not as sticky as the zagg ones. The armorsuit skin has already dried and looks great.

Right on! I have been pretty impressed with their stuff, Skinomi's are a little sticky, and Zagg's are ultra sticky of course. With the ArmorShields, the little imperfections will settle out over the next couple of days, and if for some reason it goes crazy, they will just send you another set out.

Update-Yep
Dear buyer:
Sorry for another intrusion but we just came across this report and
thought we have to share it with you:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/White-Nexus-7-Case-Stain-Clean-Black-Nexus-7,16302.html
With the same porous plastic material, we are concerned that the black
back on the retail version could also be susceptible to dye to some
extend. It may be embarrassing but we have to admit that we did not
have this issue in mind when our fist batch of Nexus cases was made.
Although the case has NOT left any mark on neither of the white or
black Nexus 7 we have after a short period of normal use, we would
rather be overcautious and have more intensive tests done before we
can comfortably let you use the case, even as a temporary solution. We
definitely could not afford to have you as beta-testers on this issue
with your brand new tablets and would suggest you hold off using the
case until you get further confirmation from us or a replacement case,
hopefully within 5-7 days. You can be assured all our future shipments
will be fully compatible with Auto wake/sleep feature and free of any
staining problems guaranteed. You will get to choose any style you
prefer from our whole selection of Nexus cases as the free
replacement.
I understand most of you will get your Nexus 7 today and I am really
sorry to disappoint you with this message but please do excise caution
if you have to use something else on your Nexus. Again, I apologize
for the inconvenience and would appreciate your understanding and
patience in this process of getting the right protection for your
Neuxs. This is what we do and we will do it right for you.
Please also let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. Thanks, Jim
WOW, I don't think I've had such good customer service, at least not that I can remember! Most companies would be like "Oh, sorry about that case we sent you last month, it probably left marks allover your device, sorry, but we can't do anything".

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

I had this last week in my cart, asked Alex at blurex about color options, he said any color I like as long as it's black. Went to make the buy and there suddenly weren't any in stock. Alex sends me another note telling me he took them off because of the sleep/wake issues when folding the cover back. Today checked again and it was back in stock but at double the price..
Much appreciated. Just ordered. $5 off, hard to say no when it cost $12 shipped int he first place. Probably not my final case, but a good standby till the case makers get in their groove.
Just ordered one as well. What a steal!!!!!!
Just jumped on the "I ordered one" wagon as well.
By the looks of the screenshot, it looks like it's notched out to pivot in place when angling in landscape mode. I hope this is the case with the actual unit. Some quick reviews I looked at suggested instead of it being notched out that it actually had velcro on it. I can't say I'm a huge fan of velcro, since continual usage would of course wear it out. At any rate, a steal for the price, but let's hope for a little more while we're at it. :good:

Thank you so much!

Sorry I dont have time for a review I am slammed at work. I have the commuter it came yesterday. It is awesome. In my opinion a typical user would not need the Defender and this is PLEANTY fine. It's great. Solid. Rubber lip around front so I can put it face down and not care. Buttons are not hard to push. It gives my GN2 a very solid feel like you can toss it around or toss it on the nightstant (not that we would... but we could with no worries). Pretty easy to put it on and take it off too but just hard enough that the phone aint coming out - no way.
I have 3 other cases. A really thin (TPU is it?) case that is the BARE minimum one can do. I love it but phone is almost naked. I would wear that case in a suit or a tux if packing the phone in the suit or tux pocket. So Ill hang onto that. I also have the Verizon case that has a kickstand built in. I can see using that if going somewhere and I know ill be watching a game at the restaurant, etc. But for a daily solid everyday case, 100% the commuter is your case.
The 4th case is the Body Glove case people were talking about - but not the cool one - the one with the smooth black square. I gotta sell that or give that to someone Ill never use it with the 3 I have now. It's not even taken out of the box lol.
Ill be interested to see the other posts tomorrow when you guys get it. I love it.

I just order me a black Commuter case last week on Friday, first they sent me an email talking about they won't charge my account til my order has been processed, then they send me a Invoice stating my account has charged along with a tracking number. I don't know if this means my stuff has shipped or not? Im thinking they have not shipped it yet, they just processed my order (basically took my order) without having a product. I am going to cancel my order and try a similar case until they get the black Commuters back in.

I actually got my GN2 Commuter case 2 days ago and I am returning it. Great case, very solid feel and build. Buttons on the bottom are easy to access, volume and power are easy to press, etc. The reason I am returning is for me it added too much bulk and weight to an already big phone. I haven't shipped it out yet and won't get a chance until Saturday by then the other case I ordered will arrive tomorrow and I can decide which I really want to keep.
For those who already have the case, how do you feel about its weight and additional thickness?

I had ordered mine last Friday as well, it shipped out on Saturday and arrived on Tuesday. I never got an email saying it shipped, but when I checked my order status it said processing and had a tracking # from Fed Ex. It arrived on Tuesday. Sadly I am going to send it back, I just feel its too bulky, though the replacement case I ordered won't be here until tomorrow so I won't return until Saturday once I decide which case I am keeping.
The pita about case shopping is having to buy and possibly return or buy many to get the right one. OtterBox is rock solid and worth the price but I need some level of grip on the case so it doesn't slip out of my hands.
I missed out on the first few waves of the ZeroLemon 9300mAh extended battery and when they finally were back in stock on amazon.com, I figured since it was nearly June, I'd just wait for the long-awaited rugged case to come out. After reading Vectron's excellent reviews and his ongoing communication with ZL, I was eagerly anticipating the rugged case for the big battery because I knew I'd never again use the TPU that comes stock with the 9300 now, and I wasn't satisfied with the "Denfender" mod. Also I was hoping that ZL would bundle the new case with the battery.
Not particularly confident that I'd receive a response after reading Vectron's posts, I still sent an email to ZL the other day inquiring as to the bundling of the battery and new case and I did receive a response:
"Customer Service ZeroLemon
3:10 AM (1 hour ago)
Hi,
This will be offered separately from the battery. We are looking at July release at the moment as we are working out some fitment issue of the case.
Best Regards,
Joey"
So for those waiting for the new case, it looks like another 4-7 weeks. Plus, there will be no bundling of the battery and the new case.
Phooey.
I was hoping to order one soon.
Oh well, if they are taking time on fitting it, maybe they can also line up different color options in the interim. I would like red & black or red & blue.
Did they ever come out with one? I've been searching lately (just bought a ZL battery myself) and can't find a thing.

I'm very interested. Report back when you have a chance to test drive it for a day or so, let us know what you think.
This case arrived last week. I've been using it on and off since its arrival. Have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. Feels good in hand and doesn't feel too cumbersome. It has a soft touch feel and good silver buttons. Charges wireless with phone in case. It will charge your phone first followed by the case. I've used it to top up and keep up battery however not yet tried it to see how many 0-100% charges it can do. Charge rate is pretty good though.
