I swear by these guys for all my accessories and batteries, going on 4 phones now. Very satisified customer.
edit2: 09/23/09- email from seidio stating it is NOT compatible with the holster listed below
edit: and says it's compatible with holster, agian, very satisfied buy.

This is by far my favorite of the 3 holsters I've previously owned for various phones by the same company. Phone sits very secure with no fear of falling out at all.
Interesting, the price is a bit steep but not too high.
I would like to see some higher res pics from a few angles to get a better idea of what the case cover looks like.
I have the holster but how do you know the extended battery fits the holster? From the single photo of the battery cover, it looks like the top sticks out as much as the area below the camera...

Yes I did see that though from the photo it does not look like that's the case. Do you really think it's compatible from that photo? I've had the extended battery for the Storm and the holster worked fine because the battery cover did not extend on the upper portion where the camera is. Guess we'll have to wait for someone to actually dive in but in the meantime I'm sticking to what I can tell from that photo on their site.
Reasonable price? depends on what you think is reasonable. You do realize that without either the battery or the phone, the other is pretty worthless. I think it's a great price considering crap motorola batteries are $30
got this from seidio, just an fyi, they must be talking about different holsters or the listing might just be plain incorrect.

I ordered this, and its been shipped already and I am awaiting arrival. I also have the innocase and holster combo, and while I know the innocase wont fit, I will try the holster and report back if that one works.
any idea which case will work?
:/
I got mine today. Huge battery
The replacement cover is ok, although I am afraid it will accidentally slide off in my pocket.
Overall, the added bulk really doesn't make a huge difference, in fact it makes it a little easier to hold.
Can't wait to see what the battery life on this sucker is like.

I got mine today too. I also like the added bulk. It fits my Seidio holster, even though the innocase that I got with the holster wont fit. Made of the same material as the innocase so its hard to scuff etc. I'll report back after a few cycles to let people know what I'm getting usage wise out of it.
UPDATE:
Well, it came off the charger at 3:30pm today saying 100%. I have been hammering it mercilessly for 6 hours now. Streaming Pandora for six hours straight, Turned on GPS, set all of my social network notifications to the quickest pull intervals, and my mail also. I have had the web browser open for nearly three hours, had three calls of around 20 minutes each, and my awake time since I pulled the battery off the charger is 100%. I am sitting at 75% right now. I am trying to get the battery low so I can get a full charge for the next cycle, but this damn thing won't go down. I guess I'll try to download a game or something and play it while listening to Pandora. This thing is a beast....
This is a beast. Used it all evening last night, and the power meter did not budge.
Also the new back makes the Hero much easier to hold.
Waiting for a day in the office where I have a weak signal to see how it does there. I'm guessing this thing will make it through a day or two no matter what I throw at it.
By far the best accessory...
Awesome, guys, glad to hear this thing is the real deal. I'm thinking about getting one but I'm waiting for the price to go down. Anyone know if they usually do? Last extended battery I bought was only $7, this one is pretty steep.
I found a better deal but not in stock ATM:

sounds great. can't wait to buy one, but i'm waiting to find out which case is compatible. i'm not picky, can be a leather pouch, any suggestions?

watch out for these kinda deals, i'm fairly certain seidio's waranty doesn't transfer to 3rd party sellers completely.
I had purchased a battery from seidio previously that was DoA, and after a conversation with their RMA department getting my invoice number and all that, they said they will replace bad batteries from anywhere but since I purchased through seidio directly they would send me a replacement without having to send the old one back first (or at all, they just said to pitch it). The battery that was sent to me was tested with a full power cycle before being over-nighted to my door.
I don't know, it's something to think about. If I'm getting a quality piece of gear, and the service to back it. I don't mind throwing out an extra little bit.
I'm on my second charge. The phone has been off the charger since 12pm on Sunday. I am sitting at 70% on Monday at 2pm. I'm really liking the usage I am getting out of this. I did not beat on it too much yesterday, just a lot of normal use. I figure at this rate, I will have to charge it every three or so days. I'm hoping it improves after a few cycles, even though I've only charged it twice so far. I'm going to run it down to 30% or so before the next charge....who knows when that will be lol.
Anyone know an approximate ETA on any upcoming Seidio cases for the Bionic?
Surface case is available now on their website.
Can't believe they've been so slow on this one. Most big phones they have cases available at least for preorder before it comes out.

Whats even more surprising to me is that they are still in business with the HORRIBLE customer service attitude that they have!

They gave me a HUGE run around with over $350 worth of defective merchandise that they sold me way back when I had my OG Droid. In fact I ended up having to give them extra money just to get a refund. I haven't fooled with them ever since.

Wow, that sucks sorry to hear that.
The Surface case and holster combo for the Bionic went on sale on Seidio's website, I placed my order this morning and hopefully will receive it in a couple of days. If no one else decides to do a review on it, I will do so once I receive it for those interested in buying one.
I've used their cases since my first EVO. Loved the Active case on my EVO 3D and would love to see them make one of those for the Bionic.
What I would like to know: will the surface case also fit the extended battery? It doesn't appear that it would. The holster probably won't care, but without extended battery support for the black case, then I'm out of luck as are many of us.
Cases Are Coming Soon
Here's what I know:
1) Seidio Surface, Active & Convert Cases are coming very soon 1-2 weeks tops.
2) Droid Bionic Extended Cases have not been finalized so there's still a chance they will not develop the model and if they do it won't be for awhile. Consider other alternatives: Check out this XDA thread
3) We have confirmed that Seidio is releasing the Extended Battery no ETA on that.
Colors?
I know the black Seidio case is out, but any idea when the other colors will be? I find it odd that if they can make the black case and release it, why wouldn't the other colors come out at the same time? Same case, different color so one would think that it shouldn't be very difficult.

Go to www.seidioonline.com. They have other colors up. Some are still in development. But the colors are usually black, blue, purple and red. Occasionally they release a white one a little later. Sometimes green as well, I think. But the first four I mentioned are either already available or are in development.

I saw that they had the other colors listed, but what I was saying is that since the design is the exact same just different colors you would think that all of them could be released at the same time. It would be the same mold, just different color plastic poured in.
Update from Seidio's website:
The Surface case for the Bionic in Sapphire Blue and Amethyst are now shipping, along with the holster combos for those colors. Black is also available. Burgundy is still unavailable at this time.
Hey Folks;
Just a heads-up that tpu-cases.com is accepting pre-orders for their matte black and matte smoked cases for our Bionics with the extended battery covers. Expected shipping date is between the 27th & 28th October. Yes,... Tomorrow or Friday. It is $12.90. Just got done ordering mine.
I am not anyway affiliated with or have any vested interest in TPU-CASES.COM. Only a Bionic owner wanting to pass the word.
Take care,
Tony
Thanks, just ordered one.

Just got mine and have to say this is a nice case with at a great price. It looks good and offers a lot of protection. All ports etc are available and it adds minimal bulk, fits very snug. I'd take a pic but my phone's my only camera! Highly recommend. Again, I appreciate tpu-cases.com updating us in a different thread. More companies should be as pro-active as them!
Will be ordering mine on Tuesday

Mine came today after ordering Wednesday. Fits nicely, smooth not sticky, all ports and buttons are open. Very nice case, well worth the $12.90.
Been waiting for this. Just ordered mine...
Received mine a few days ago and loving it. Great material.
Just received mine; awesome fit-and-finish, and am happy to report that it it fits the cardock (with the cardock insert removed). Excellent! =)

and this screen protector-

They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Right on! I have been pretty impressed with their stuff, Skinomi's are a little sticky, and Zagg's are ultra sticky of course. With the ArmorShields, the little imperfections will settle out over the next couple of days, and if for some reason it goes crazy, they will just send you another set out.

Update-Yep
Dear buyer:
Sorry for another intrusion but we just came across this report and
thought we have to share it with you:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/White-Nexus-7-Case-Stain-Clean-Black-Nexus-7,16302.html
With the same porous plastic material, we are concerned that the black
back on the retail version could also be susceptible to dye to some
extend. It may be embarrassing but we have to admit that we did not
have this issue in mind when our fist batch of Nexus cases was made.
Although the case has NOT left any mark on neither of the white or
black Nexus 7 we have after a short period of normal use, we would
rather be overcautious and have more intensive tests done before we
can comfortably let you use the case, even as a temporary solution. We
definitely could not afford to have you as beta-testers on this issue
with your brand new tablets and would suggest you hold off using the
case until you get further confirmation from us or a replacement case,
hopefully within 5-7 days. You can be assured all our future shipments
will be fully compatible with Auto wake/sleep feature and free of any
staining problems guaranteed. You will get to choose any style you
prefer from our whole selection of Nexus cases as the free
replacement.
I understand most of you will get your Nexus 7 today and I am really
sorry to disappoint you with this message but please do excise caution
if you have to use something else on your Nexus. Again, I apologize
for the inconvenience and would appreciate your understanding and
patience in this process of getting the right protection for your
Neuxs. This is what we do and we will do it right for you.
Please also let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. Thanks, Jim
WOW, I don't think I've had such good customer service, at least not that I can remember! Most companies would be like "Oh, sorry about that case we sent you last month, it probably left marks allover your device, sorry, but we can't do anything".

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

I stopped using mine. The battery is great but it just weighs down the phone too much and the case is already huge.
It is significant for those of us that use the battery.

I'm not sure everyone will agree with you
For me the weight is a non issue as ive been able to lift a half a pound since i was a baby and would have expected more people to be able to do the same. All the nonsense of thinner and lighter blows my mind
Cant wait till the extra protection gets here. Been waiting on this case for almost 6 months
gNOTE2 rolling in the north
If the regular battery and a case lasts the entire day why would you add the extra weight and potential extra damage if dropped?
With the rugged case I'm sure I'll be using it more with the extra protection as I wasn't impressed with the stock case and it's finish fading.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 4
Thats just it, if you actually use your phone you can drain the battery easily in 4 hours. I have at least 10 apps i can only use while at home after work because they WILL drain the battery rediculously fast. Now on the flip side if its a really busy day at work and i have data and such turned off i can have 90% left when i get home. But thats only if i dont use it.
The dropping it with the extra weight part doesnt concern me as im fairly careful with a $700 device
gNOTE2 rolling in the north
It seems like they've tiptoed back again on this; at least, I haven't seen it for sale yet, and their website apparently has entirely different dates. This battery is great, but waiting for the rugged case has been an exercise in patience. The Note 3 is getting a rugged case apparently right off the bat, yet we've been sitting with the previous version waiting for just the case itself for months.

You could do what I did, give your note 2 to your wife so she can retire her original Note.

I would, but as I'm A: not married, and B: not a lesbian, I don't have a wife. :silly:
Also, I like my Note 2 just fine. About the only thing that interests me in the Note 3 is that the S-Pen works with the buttons. Otherwise, I plan on keeping this phone for another year, with the ZeroLemon battery; it would just be nice to not have to mod a damn case to give it more protection.

Haha all good points but I must admit, the new memo with it's advanced handwriting recognition has come in handy daily since I got my n3. Love it!!
So like another week or so before we see the rugged case?

Back in my day, companies used to get product out because they wanted money.

Those were simpler times; Pepperidge Farm remembers.
...sorry.
Apparently, they've at least come out with the extended battery charger (FFS FINALLY), but, at least on the Facebook page, there's been plenty of people asking where the heck the Note 2 rugged is, since they promised it what, last week? And no new answers.

If the regular battery and a case lasts the entire day why would you add the extra weight and potential extra damage if dropped?
With the rugged case I'm sure I'll be using it more with the extra protection as I wasn't impressed with the stock case and it's finish fading.

Extra weight? It's a few ounces. If you can lift a can of soda I'm assuming you can manage to lift your phone.
The finish isn't fading from my original zl case and I was one of the relatively early adopters.
As for drop protection, my phone survived flying out of my car and didn't get a scratch.

I upgraded to a Note 3 two days ago and sold my Note 2 and ZeroLemon battery.

Oh don't worry, very soon he will be rocking 10000 mAh ZL battery for N3, and a rugged case. I have a feeling everybody is going to get their rugged case before Note 2. I was joking before saying it would be funny to have release of N2 rugged case on November 1st to celebrate one year release of Note 2. Right now it's starting to look like a reality lol!!!
Btw, still no rugged case here... Do you guys realize that a first time I mentioned about rugged case (from ZL guys) was probably around early June time? That's 5 months of waiting for something that might... but anyway, I'm not making any judgment based on other comments or s3 pictures. Let's wait and see if I ever going to get it in my hands for review before the actual amazon availability. At this point it doesn't look like anything groundbreaking except for removable backplate to support different battery sizes and modded Defender mold.
It was actually in your first pafe of review in April
