Is it just my phone or the Thrill doesn't allow you to zoom in or out once video recording has started?

Its not just you. Once you start recording the stock camera app doesn't allow zooming while recording.

As what I read from Nova HD thread, video illusion for recording video is the most recommended tool.
Question is video recording in HD resolution (720P/1080P) is available?
it is not. max resolution is the same as tv mode if i remember correctly.

Oh no. tv resolution is quite low and quality is no good.
Stock rom camera video recording max 1080P in 3gp file is quite good quality.
Any app can record video up to HD quality?

HD video recording is not possible on ICS yet. The devs need the nvidia sources/binaries.
If you want to record HD video, try flashing a GB Rom.

Hi is there any Video recording APPS to reccommend?
Im using AKOP JB video recording is not that good quality..
Hope someone can give me some tips....

Nothing will make a difference. But if you are talking about phone screen recording, then Screencast should do the job.

use Camera ICS+, im using it and video is not lagging unlike the stock jellybean camera.
Hey Guys
Quick question.
Is there is a way to speed up the camera shutter speed through software, or is it completely hardware driven? I am using the Camera FV-5 app. Takes great pictures, just wondering if there was a way to improve the shutter response. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I tried that and the shots were still blurry unfortunately. I refuse to believe the camera/sensor on this phone is as bad as it is making out to be.

I guess you are just using the stock camera app?
I have a Note 4. I have my settings set to the lowest, and yet my camera still takes 100MB per minute video. Does anyone know what else may be going on?
Thanks!
(Deleting other thread, as ib had wrong info. Not 1MB...100MB
What resolution do you have the camera set to? I would assume you have it in 1080p/60fps.

I have it set on the lowest, 1280/720. I had my tech brother look at it this weekend, all I can do is use a video compress app ?
Just use third party camera app where you can adjust the resolution down to 220, 480 etc..

Just take regular videos. Of my son, things I review etc. My biggest problem is that Amazon will only accept 2MB or less for video reviews. This means I have to review it in about a minute and a half for it to go, and I just can't usually do that. Especially bigger items.

Can you be more specific? Thanks.
Works well. Just flash via recovery. HTC camera has always worked better than most other cameras for me including google camera.. Also, this camera has hyperlapse and slow motion.
