With a lot of the cooked HD7 ROMS being based on the EU ROM dumps, will there be an issue flashing it to a T-Mobile US phone in the US?
Thanks

as long you have R/HSPL, any Schubert ROM will flash fine.

I flashed my TMOUS HD7 with DFT Mango ROM based on EU long time ago and now I'm flashing DeepShining with Internet Sharing..

What effect will the changed MAC address have, other than on a router if you have MAC based security?
Loaded Feroponts ROM yesterday Morning (Before deep shining with internet sharing was available). IS works great, no issues anywhere else... May try DeepShining later... Wish there was a way to back up and restore settings/preferences/all apps... would make flashing so much easier...

just a change in identity. can revert back with a non-ISharing ROM.

It says: Improved Functions and Fixes:
1. The Financial Providers Icon (Yahoo!) was placed in the Stock Tab in TouchFLO to clearly indicate where the data originated.
2. The phone now shows the actual amount of RAM (288MB) instead of the amount used in previous models (256MB).
Can it really be such a short list ? - I bet the GPS and other fixes should be there as well..

yep - but the question remains ...
It's Simple, they release the new roms to let the update from the radio and sms work, because with the roms that came with the Rhodiums it doesn't install because of the rom version...

All well and good, BUT the radio update still dosen't work even after flashing the new ROM, and how difficult could it have been to incorporate the two hotfixes into the new ROM.

Ask HTC about that question... Not me...
It is same as rom release in Asia. Not sure why this small changes can become new rom release.

After flashing the new ROM, I'm still unable to apply the Radio fix. I still get the Invalid vendor Id error.
Radio ROM doesn't work for me either
Did the same, flashed to the latest ROM version from HTC but I still got vendor ID error when trying the GPS radio hotfix... I've noticed that the radio upgrade isn't on the HTC site anymore... are they about to post one that actually works? Hopefully...

There must be a new ROM out, because when I flashed the ROM from the UK site the Radio version remained the same as the original, (I can't comment on the SMS fix because it never affected me)

This is the latest TMOUS official ROM for the TP2, Direct download link from their server (no IMEI needed, no Rapidshare waiting..)

what't the date of this ROM release?
Here is another link if someone wants it

Isnt this just the same one that was released in DEC?
what's ironic is that i didnt had the chance to try it yet ping here is too high. it will take me 2 days to download this rom. so i dont know anything about it i just found it at the tmo site.
it took me 15 mins to post this thread, and 10 to post this reply

i flashed this rom, got it directly from T-mobile site app out of date etc etc so much stuff have to be updated it not even funny.
if this is the official tmous sense 2.1 rom released this past january then this rom is terrible. I flashed it a couple days after its release and wished I hadn't very quickly. the stock 6.1 was way better. I ended up finding this site because of it. I don't remember much more then this rom was slow. im using jackos roms now theyre great and with cookie 2.0..... wow

ull need to find the temporary path of the setup,(start task manager>select task (e.g. setup.exe) with right click and select go to process>right click on the process and select open file location. (only for 7, vista in xp ypu have to search manulally)
copy the NBH file that contains the rom and use custom RRU to flash it.

I never tried the 6.1, but I don't doubt that it was faster. You might try the NRG ROM; I like it.

Yes, but why would you want to? I suggest a custom ROM. In any case, you will have to map your keyboard to ATT. Do a search for the cab.

Whats so special about Energy ROM?
Memory leaks, slow performance, ...
I never flashed it and kept it for more than 3Hrs
Jackos and Simplicity are the best Roms out there.

You might give it another try. I have no memory leaks, and the performance is fine, although I do overclock to 710 to make the transitions smoother. The latest versions have the capability to remove the start menu (with a couple of replacement options - I use the Sense replacement), and my free memory is around 90 after a boot and everything settles down.
As to why I run it? It looks nice, runs very fast (especially the latest ROMs), and is very stable with CHT 1.8.
yeah that is the 6.5 upgrade from the 6.1 it was running... we are still waiting for an upgrade... I did double check the 1.91.531.4 was the same I had on my hard drive... for back up... anyway any new ROM would be at least a 2.08.???.? or higher. How many of us should of realized that??
today my HD7 (T-Mobile) will arrive and I want to know what to do first.
Its a used one so it probably has WP7.5. If it has that should I just do the HSPL / RSPL thing then flash a custom rom?
and if its still one the old WP7, should I upgrade it via zune to WP7.5 or just do the HSPL / RSPL thing and flash a custom rom thats already based on WP7.5?
and finally, are all HD7 roms compatible with the T-Mobile version? if not please tell me the ones that will work for me.
thanks in advance.
just created a tutorial, here.

Hello every body
I had jailbreaked my HD7 using chevronWP and it was working very well. but after updating to the mango (and then some other updates), chevron does not work any more.
Current version of OS on my phone is 7.10.7740.16
How can I Jailbreak it once again?
Any help is appreciated
Thanks in advance

you will need to downgrade OS and go through the unlock process, again.
i suggest just unlocking your Bootloader with XSPL and flashing a Custom ROM.
Waht's sh4d0w86 asking is the easyest way....
The other way was extreemly hard to complete cause you must but before every flashing the provxml in the windows folder after flashing you must start connection setup now the device was jailbreaked an the same again and you need the registry file for preventing the Unlock of the Jailbreak and at the end you don't have Interop-unlock
flashing a ROM with interop-unlock was the easyest way......
Are there any custom ROMs for mango version?
and are they updatable? and if yes, will they be locked if you update?

there are a lot of custom roms on mango that you find in forum, if you search for it.
unfortunately is not possible to update these custom rom's. you have to flash your device, if you want a new one. but with the backup-tools is that no problem.
the most custom rom's are full unlocked, even after hardreset.
you can't jailbreak an HD7 because its not an iPhone!!
You could developer unlock it and or interop unlock it though lol

thank you all, for replies.
For developer unlock i have to pay 99$ a day, and chevron tokens are sold out!
but, what does "interop" unlock mean actually?

jayjoyson is ill informed. all Custom ROMs are using version of Mango. also, there are Custom ROMs that are Zune update-able, e.g. intrinsicROM.

allows deployment of more than three sideloaded apps. to my knowledge, all Custom ROMs are Introp-Unlocked.

Hi Guys,
I have 3g Connectivity issues with ARHD (GE) Kitkat.
Which is the best firmware I can use?
How can I know it will fit my device?
Will it delete everything?
Thanks!

Hi there!
1. If you have 3G connection issues try having a look if you can find a 'radio' that may improve your connectivity. Although it shouldn't matter too much.
2. By 'fit' do you mean work with your device? It should. Try out a different rom if you'd please.
3. It will delete all user data. e.g. Apps, games, locally saved contacts. etc.

I tried like 3 latest radios (2 of 4.4 and one of the latest T-mobile)
all gave me same result on speed tests (really slow one)..
Could it be a ROM problem? could it be that ARHD 5.1 (GE) doesn't work well on original T-Mobile HTC One?
What should I do?
If you are S-off u can flash any firmware package. That includes unsigned ones
If you are S-on you are only limited to specific ones marched to your model Id and Cid.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823
This will tell you which.

No, I got it from the HTC One forum, I had before ARHD 30.. everything worked fine.
I tired already like 5 different radios all gives the same result so I guess it's a problem in the firmware..

I'll try:
re-install ARHD 5.1 (clean install) --> if in few days 5.2 won't come out and everything will stay the same I'll try ARHD 40.3.
