EDIT: Seems webtop is broken in the last 2 updates, trying to find a way to fix it or if we can narrow down what's breaking it.
EDIT: Will post the full 5.7.893 when I get home

So I did the old method of forever root and did the update to. 893 with no hassle. So I can just boot inti recovery and flash the latest zip with no problem? Sorry for the noob question but I've been at work for damn near 12 hours.

so of we have already forever rooted and done 5.5 and 5.6, we can just flash the 5.7 file im assuming. looks like same order just with a fewdays between flashes?

Just a little confused by the build numbers. I'm on my backup with system version "5.6.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US" -
Everything I've done has been through cheesecake. You have this one : "Blur_Version.5.5.893mr1.XT875.Verizon.en.US" - and that 'mr1' is throwing me off. Is this necessary for me to flash first before the 5.7?
Thanks. Good write up.

Yea, it kept failing on me if I didn't flash the MR1 update.
I renamed the files according to what they are "supposed" to upgrade your system to, that way there isn't a lot of confusion. I hope I didn't confuse anyone more lol

Gotcha. So with the build number I listed above, do the MR1 first, then the last one? Correct?
I also wanted to mention that cheesecake is dead today. I found 5.7 earlier this morning by just clicking system update from about phone, but I didn't download it because I'm on Th3ory. Now I can't find it and it makes me mad! Lol.

Ok.. I had my bionic rooted with Pete's.. after I flashed R3blurred v2.. then the packs. Somebody told me that I was still on .886 so.. my question is : do I have to do all this steps if I want to install the OTA updates? I know I have to flash back the stock rom(good thing I did a back up)

correct, they are doing another "soak test" for the official update. I think that's why the servers are down, but I'm not sure exactly which day they will do the "soak test" for it

I like how it tells me it's removing my webtop files - and updating my LTE

In like Flint! You're the man! Backup time...

I already had 5.6.893, so I installed 5.7.893 on top of it - I forgot I had frozen 15 apps in TiBu (after upgrading to 5.6.893) - and thus far, it seems to have taken - the version number in about phone is definitely 5.7.893....
A boneheaded mistake that luckily for me did not cost me anything. Or, at least on a superficial inspection did not cost me anything....

SUCK IT
Thx man
we need get together work as a team to make our GB dream come true
You see... I'm up in the air about releasing a GB rom... right now at this point it will only cause a LOT of problems for me.
In order to get GB to work you must install either baseband only or the GB kdz. The baseband method obviously a LOT of people are having issues with, this creates way too many questions and troubleshooting, more than I would be able to handle in a timely manner at this point.
The kdz method means you have to flash the kdz file which creates more questions, then you have to re-root, reinstall CWM THEN flash a custom rom. There is no way to put baseband in a rom.
This just seems like it would be way too much to deal with unless someone reliable wants to be my Q&A monkey. I am thinking I would much rather wait till more people get on the GB baseband then release GB. This is not set in stone though, who knows I might change my mind and throw together a GB rom tomorrow. I don't even know what I'm going to do.
Plus if CM9 is right around the corner... all that work would be pretty much for nothing because it would get ditched for a ICS/CM9 rom. For me right now I think best bet is to tweak the crap out of my kernel and rom.
Ugh, I'm kind of stuck on making a decision... hell I haven't even made a v10k rom yet...
yes man we working best we can for these roms
but ****ty At&t doesn't even care for their product's
any way we need another 10k one u need to start working on that try one of your ported kernel but be careful i almost brick mine when try to do new experiment Lol

[ROM]Stock Motoblur 2.3.6 rooted, deodexed, zipaligned, optimized[xt860]CWM

This is based on the newest bell update (to 2.3.6) though this rom has been reported with "minimal" tweaking(copying a compatible libmoto_ril.so and your original build.prop is nothing for a fix) by users of models other than the xt860. As the topic says it's been rooted, deodexed, zipaliged, optimized w/xUltiimate both apps and framework OFC. I've flashed this zip to /system(non-safestrap) and /preinstall (safestrap) and had only a minor hiccup of having the setup launch twice on me once, I rebooted and wiped and the problem was gone. I left everything in the rom for complete stock, you could return the phone if you unrooted and removed the custom recovery minus the voice search which I replaced with an older version as stock was fcing, just update it with market and it will work great. You get the H/H+ symbol on the bar etc. You can debloat/whatever this before you flash with winrar, explorer, winzip, 7zip etc. I hope you find it useful. Hope I haven't forgotten anything.
I take no responsibility for you bricking your phone if you flash this, know where your recovery utilities are ahead of time.
I uploaded it as stock bell as possible since we're so short on bell sbf etc but hope to also provide a ready to go rom base for anyone who wants it.
Download it Here

(As well as Hashcode, Koush, everyone who's done any developement on this phone or any other droid platform ofc, the people here on and the hosts of xda)
User reported this working on xt883, trying to sort out details but it looks like flashing the radio.img from your model specific sbf package and then copying over the libmoto_ril.so and build.prop was what worked for the user here
Is there something like this for Droid 3?

Cool, lemme know if it works. You're gonna have to remember to push a verizon build.prop and probably libmoto_ril.so to the phone to get it fully functional, I'd start with just pushing the build.prop and see how far that gets you then the libmoto_ril if you're up but having trouble with data.

4) install 2.3.6 rom
5) factory wipe again
6) let it boot
7) copy build(system) and libmoto (system\lib)

9) flash radio image from 863
10) boot up and repeat step 7
11) boot up fine..now got phone working with h+, etc. brow internet without wifi working. So i am accessing 3g data.

Thanks for testing etc. Looks more and more like roms really are "universal" if you patch the build.prop and 1 ril file.

Sweet! I made flash able zips of the other official recovery's today. I just downloaded the .img and will make one for this shortly
I plan to make a central Thread with all the recoveries but am gonna link to all the threads so that ppl can still get the original .img file that's flash able via Odin, etc. I'll also give credit to everyone involved! I just wanna make things a little easier for peeps to find and download the recovery they may want to try out and what not!

Well I flashed it. Its ugly. Resolution is wayyy off. It needs some work.
I went back to the non touch official cwm.
If someone could take this and make us a proper working touch cwm that would be the best thing. This really shouldn't be used.
We don't need anything except codeworkx recovery thread. He will update it. We have 3 cwm threads now.

True, we do but we don't have hardly any flash able zips for our recoveries. What I did I made zips that everyone can just flash via recovery instead of needing to use Odin, etc.. I mean, one could just as easily use Mobile Odin and flash I guess, which I've done in the past.
My plan was to make one central location that included links to all the original Recovery files as well as flash able zips for all of them. Much similar to my post in the Official 6.0.1.1 CWM thread. People do seem to appreciate the flash able zips, I've had nearly 20 downloads already and just posted the files today!

I hope someone does. The one for my skyrocket was made up so nice. It has potential, thank you for sharing it.
Here is an updated, Official version of ClockworkMod Touch Recovery v6.0.1.2.
You can flash this via Recovery. Just make sure to Reboot Recovery in Advanced menu afterwards...
p3113-cwm_touch-recovery-6.0.1.2.zip
p3110-cwm_touch-recovery-6.0.1.2.zip
p3100-cwm_touch-recovery-6.0.1.2.zip
Like I said, I hadn't tried the OP's version, but these look about the same as far as the screen shots go I guess. I'm using the version for p3113 and I like the new features!
Also, just throwing it out there, but if you click on my user name after going to those links above and navigate thru the folders until you get to the Recovery folder, you'll find the other flash able Recovery zips I've made in case you wanna revert back easily or like to keep a copy on hand.
I think i am gonna make a thread similar to Codeworkx, except it'll have all these links and then external links to his post and ClockworkMod's website so people can still download the original .img file, or the .tar file flash able in Odin, etc. I'm also working on collecting the recovery.img's for older unofficial versions (codeworkx's version specifically) and for TWRP as well. At least then users will have a choice on which recovery they wanna use along with a short description on which ones have which features! Personally I think it's a good idea... but we'll see I guess. I know users like files they can just easily flash via recovery. The original files I made for v6.0.1.1 had a ton of downloads within the first 24 hours lol...and still counting!

Doubtful, these are the Official versions! Version 6.0.1.2, not based off 6.0.1.1 like you said your was supposed to be.

Right, they haven't been published to rom Manager as of yet... but they're all official versions... even the one the OP posted is technically an official version.

Hello i own a smartq t30 with a cmw 6.0.1.1 based recovery mode but it is all in chinese. Would anyone be so kind to post the structure of the menus in this recovery. It would be of great help. Thanks in advance
Using it since TWRP is outdated. In any case, thanks for making life easy, hah.

Is there a link for TWRP and can we just use the generic TWRP or does it have to be modded specifically for the P3113?

Are there any screenshots? Is this a Blur-based ROM based off of the Droid Ultra/Mini/Maxx 4.2.2 or is it a full AOSP ROM with everything working?

And...Thanks for the port :good:
Cool port :good:
To all: just for future reference, there are packages of official gapps for all firmwares since éclair days if you look fit it, and they work on all ROMs.

Hey guys, as of recently it has been tough to keep up with posting "OP Updated" whenever I update a ROM since I have quite a few ROMs I'm supporting on 3 different forums. So from now on, it is gonna be up to you to check the link in the OP for updates. I will be updating all ROMs regularly... So check back often. Thanks guys and ENJOY!

It's already included in the ROM, you just need to change it in the theme chooser. If you want it for a different ROM, I think the theme can be found on the Play Store.

Letting us know doesn't do any good, unless you post details. What were your installation methods? Did you try this on a lock or unlocked bootloader? Did you install GAPPs at the same time? See what I'm getting at? We can't provide help, if you don't provide details. 99% of failed installations are user error (I've done it myself, too). So, let us help you.
I installed this on my M with zero issues and many people have installed on other devices with zero issues.
i apologize i just assume that we are all on the same page i am 100% unlocked im using twrp i attempted flash just like any other rom, did a clean wipe of my device flashed rom by itself and it failed i never flash rom and gapps at the same time just a personal choice i guess lol

If you're flashing an AOSP ROM, you should always flash the GAPPs at the same time, especially on this ROM. This is SlimBean based and a lot of things aren't included in the base ROM, which are included in GAPPs. This usually applies to most AOSP ROMs. Sometimes, they won't boot at all without a GAPPs package because there are things in there that make the ROM work.
Check out the add-ons on the Slim website. I always flash the AIO package, but there are several to choose from. If you want just a basic package, use their simple GAPPs or you can use the Aroma AIO that allows you to pick and choose the apps that you want to install.

maybe i didnt explain it correctly or maybe i misunderstood what you were asking? ive noticed that when i flash a rom it gives me the option to flash multiples zip files at once which in my mind would be the rom and the gapps at the same time...i dont and have never done my flashing like that i flash the rom by itsself once that is succesful i then flash the gapps by themselves then i wipe cache then reboot:silly:

Yeah, that was unclear, but I'm with you now. With that being said, which GAPPs did you use? If all else fails, try to re-download and re-flash. Also, I usually use the multi-zip option and have never run into an issue with it, but I know how you feel. For the longest time, I wouldn't use it because I was scared I would put the wrong zip in the queue.

Firmware Update rolling out for AT&T Atrix HD (05/14)

RELAX!!!
Now I think they're releasing this update just to mess with us. Go to About Phone and check for updates. I haven't installed it yet, but most likely a patch for Heartbleed, or something.
Enjoy? :silly:

Unlocked bootloader patch as well as a heartbleed fix is my guess.....forgot to charge before bed last night and I only have 43% battery....Once I'm charged, I'll flash back to stock and I'll upload this new OTA for us all. Give me about 3 hours......luckily it's a rainy day and I don't have crap to do.

Probably just trying to prevent others from unlocking; like what the last Verizon JB OTA did to the XT926.
BUT
There's speculation on the RHD forums that the kernel used in the XT926 OTA will able to be used in unlocking the bootloader. Only time will tell, but that's good news at any rate.
now at 82% charge....
In any case i think this are good news, maybe the kitkat update its not that far away... update installed

Don't jump the gun just yet....it might only need that annoying install-recovery.sh removed/renamed.
And this nandroid needs to hurry up....and I wonder if we're going to have a new kernel...

I will, but it's going to take a bit longer than I planned on. Just got a call and I gotta run some errands for work. Not sure when I'll be done. Probably 3 to 5 hours. Pisses me off. I was looking forward to an update, even if it is only for AT&T JB.
That's not what I expected from ATT but at least, they dont forget our update. Hope that kitkat will come soon.
So.

EDIT3:
Using the Settings>About Phone way, I updated it with Philz CWM installed and it's working just fine. Looks like it contains the heartbleed fix. a modem update, camera/various lib updates....Not sure why it's labeled Blur_Version.98.4.20.MB886.ATT.en.US.zip when it installs 98.5.38...though I'd have preferred a 4.20 version
EDIT4:
Forgot to mention. You HAVE to be running the latest stock AT&T firmware to install or even flash this. It won't work for any other Atrix HD JB rom, stock or custom.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but me using Philz to take the OTA lets me know that it does work as well as knowing that others shouldn't have a difficult time with it. Besides, if it did go bad I had a terminal open with all the fastboot commands ready to go...I was prepared for a soft brick.
