I have a different problem concerning Spotify and bluetooth.
When playing music it is just fine trough my bluetooth headset.
But when browsing the web (stock browser) or using google maps the music starts to stutter. So in general I can only listen to music when I am not using my phone. When I start to use it for other tasks while listening to Spotify the music stutters from time to time, which is almost too annoying to listen to.
However I can't seem to replicate this problem right now.. it always does it except for when I try to find out why! xD
I think it has to do with processor intensive stuff.. Spotify is pretty heavy itself already.
Anybody else ever has this stutter?
2.3.6 KK9 with CF-root
I just got a GN and I think it is awesome.
I have however hit a kind of confusing snag.
If I try to stream music from my laptop using AllShare the streaming stops if I turn off the GN, but if I stream the music that is on my HTC Desire then I have no problem turning off the GN, the music will continue to stream seamleasly. It is in no way a major problem, but it it is confounding.
Does anyone know what the reason is for this anomaly?
So I've tried several DLNA apps, including iMediashare, and most of them work fine as far as sharing videos I've downloaded. But no video I actually filmed with my One ever plays right. It's either really choppy or audio only. I've tried filming in 1080 and 720. Has any one had success streaming to another device using your own videos with an app like iMediashare?
Yes to my TV using iMediaShare. By choppy do you mean with interruptions?
If yes this is related to your TV or wifi router being capable to handle high stream. The 1080 (which has high bit rate 60) filmed works fine on Samsung LCD but not so well on my Panasonic one, sometimes it's played with interruptions (tough the 720 can handle it ok)
The 720 doesn't work either. I've tried iMediashare with Windows Media Player and VLC Direct with VLC. I at least get a picture with VLC, but just sound with WMP.
Ok, so i have had Chromecast for 10 days. Just now I start noticing bad quality when using Youtube, iHeartradio and Vevo, Pandora, which are all the apps i use for chromecast . I haven't done hack it or anything. Please help! It sounds a bit staticy and a little like you are talking into a fan. It's terrible.
Try power cycling both TV and Chromecast, and unplug/replug Chromecast into TV.
I often use Chrome to cast a video stream to my Chromecast. I am playing with a Win 10 laptop to a TV with the Chromecast plugged into it.
Sometimes, it comes through as screen mirroring (the video plays on both laptop and TV) and sometimes it casts directly through the Chromecast (the laptop switches to show a message that the video is casting, and the video only plays on the TV). I cannot figure out what triggers screen mirroring vs direct streaming through the Chromecast. Sometimes it will stream directly and then suddenly switch back to mirroring on the same video stream.
I would prefer to have the video stream directly through the Chromecast. The picture quality is better, less chance of audio lag, and less stuttering. Also, the laptop does not have to do all the work of rendering the video so it saves quite a bit on battery.
Anybody know how if there are ways to control this?
