For me, the word "moist" makes me want to gag. I find it to be the most vile, disgusting word in the English language. Not even sure why. Typing this out feels like a chore and is also causing my stomache to turn.
I absolutely refuse to purchase Betty Crocker cake mix due to this word being plastered on the package.

I immediately think of rancid blueberry oatmeal with that word. Oddly specific, I know, but that's my mental image.

Lol @ Dirk.
I hate asap, when said as a word and not A.S.A.P. When someone says that, it makes me want to punch them, asap.
When people say
"brought" instead of "bought"
"draws" instead of "drawers" (as in the furniture)

I have always hated the word buddies/bud/buddies.
@op, incidentally the word moist was also hated by the mother in a show called dead like me. Random useless fact

"Homework, essay".
"Can you help me out real quick?"
THEY ARE LYING! IT'S NEVER REAL QUICK!
"I don't know." <-- This specific one only bothers me under certain circumstances.
ie. - "What are you doing?"
- "I don't know."
Wtf do you mean you don't know?
-We do what we must because we can. For the good of all us, except the ones who are dead.-
Data cap. The most vile phrase I've ever heard.

JimJam, i understand your frustration. I always try to include punctuation and capital letters in my writing. But unfortunately, some people seem to take the royal piss and decide to write something so only they can read it.
This thread has made me think more about my writing and take into consideration your point.
Thanks for making the world a better place!
LOL!!!!!
Capitals don't bother me, but when I read 'an windows mobile' or 'a android' it bugs the hell out of me.

You technically don't need that extra comma It all depends on how you are saying the sentence, when I use commas I usually use them as a pausing tool (I do the same thing with smileys; but I use them as periods haha) So you didn't fix it, more so, you made it how you believed it was being pronounced. BAM! IN YOUR FACE!
Well played Mr.twitch... well played

Pretty impressive. It guessed me, and it was right!
It guess all the Walt Disney characters + Kingdom Hearts characters .

Never heard of it
I've tried all sorts of tv characters, movie characters, musicians, actors....it's incredibly refined and accurate.
I beat it with Heather Graham.
That sounds rude

Ok so I thought I could catch it out with Paul Kemp. (The Rum Diary)
First guess was Henry Chinaski - Fair enough
Second guess was - Jack Kerouac - mmmm
Third guess was Hunter S Thompson, which I will accept as its close enough.
I can see the logic....
Pretty impressive.
Well it knows John C Molyneux as a software developer. If you don't believe me, try it. (There'll be lots of "I don't know" answers, but it still gets me!)
Yea, I guess it will have it's limitations. It got Francis Begbie (Trainspotting), Hamish Macbeth and William Wallace first time...the missus tried it and it got all of the Glee characters first time.

Why don't you, get a haircut, and get a real job!

That's actually better than we're used to around here. Your Father should be proud!
Not everybody can be a drunken hobo on meth. Still, it's something for me to aspire to!
So, here's a brief statement, why I'd rather be grounded the usual way instead of beeing grounded the turkish way.
In our family, there are ONLY 2 reasons, for that you have to live and fight everyday. These are Honor and religion. We take this very serious. And now imagine, somebody offends your honor...I know it's hard to picture for someone who's not living like this, so just try to understand and if you don't...ignore it ^^

Sure, there's plenty of differences between Ted and Wilfred I'm just saying there's plenty of similarities. One of the first things we see is him smoking a bong, and we see him going dark (albeit playful) and smacking Mark Wahlberg about. And I also assume that no-one but Mark Wahlberg sees him as anything more than just a Teddy Bear, but that's an assumption.
Either way it definitely looks worth watching.

Here's a place to showcase the nerd that you are. The rules are simple: post something only a fellow nerd would know. This is for the real nerd in all of us.
Type your simple words or phrase with details would not be identifiable to the public at large. Whoever can answer your clue with the with what it relates to gets to post the next item of intrigue.
For example, if I type DE_Rats as the clue, only a consummate nerd would answer: Counter-Strike
I'll begin with something relatively easy, but still quite nerdy: Mana burn
Arf, I had to google it to know
