Hi,
i allready asked the maintainer but he seems to be busy.
Which kernel do you recommend for the final froyo release of MIUI?
Since MIUI Gingerbread seems to be very unstable for i would like to go for the old version.
You can go to miui.com to find a answer.
What Gingerbread ROMS are avail for the Samsung Galaxy S ? (i9000m)
I know of CM7 -- but what else ?
I am looking for a very fast Gingerbread Rom.
Running on DamianGTO's Kernel OC 1280mhz
I think Miui and maybe darkys rom v.10 beta
It's no beta, it's a RC (release candidate).

Wazzup everybody, i was just wondering if anybody know if theres any stable gingerbread sense ROM for the N1?
Thanx!
RCADS Mix is the only Gingerbread Sense ROM available. So there isn't much to the question...
okey, thanks for your answer
Hi all,
I have been going through the I9000 development section and came across multiple MIUI ROMs
[ROM] GALNET MIUI v2.2 VERSION, BASED ON OFFICIAL 1.6.24 - 28/6/11 - Android 2.3.4
[ROM] Galaxy S I9000 MIUI.us presents MIUI 1.6.10 Pure English [AOSP]
[ROM] MIUI 2.3.4 for Galaxy S - v1.6.3 [MCGv5.3 - Based On Official - IRC]
What's the difference between all of them ? Which is the more updated version and what are they based on ?

Basicly different devs..
Different results..
Ive flashed all 3 different versions and stuck with Galnet.
It may sound like a broken record but this rom has won me over easily, Galnet gives his 100% on this rom and I've noticed this with every update..
Theres bugs but things are getting worked on probly as im posting this.
Goodluck with your choice, btw
Any of these 3 MIUI ROMs will be amazing..
Just up to your choice.

Miui is a heavily customized version of android that is available on many devices.
The "[ROM] Galaxy S I9000 MIUI.us presents MIUI 1.6.10 Pure English [AOSP]" rom is pretty much the stock thing except a few changes covered on the rom page. This is updated as the official Miui rom is updated(Every Friday)
MCG is a tuned up version of this with a different kernel and various fixes. Currently I don't think it is being updated(?). Mambo04 who originally began this rom was the first to get Miui booting on the SGS then Chinese developers adopted his work and began releasing the official one with updates
The Galnet Miui rom is a newer development, Galnet who is part of the MCG team runs it and it is currently updated quite a bit and definitely looks promising. Kinda similar to MCG(Probably based on it or fixes etc taken from it) but is currently being updated with new fixes.
I currently use the Galnet version and find it very good, minimal/no bugs.
Hope this helps
Thanks guys, sure does help... will be giving Galnet a try for sure...!
I am curently using MCG 5.3 with Glitch V10 Insane, and I am pleased, no battery drain, smooth and good movent. I tried 7.6 but it has a battery drain issue, for me Galnet just uses a different theme(that's the only thing I saw different from MCG).
Good luck
Galnet v2.2 is the best
Need to know which ROM is the most stable to use on this phone. Running an old version of Eclipse and have been happy with it. Wondering if I should update to latest Eclipse 5..1 build or try a different ROM. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
The old Eclipse was stock based the new is based off of AOSP. I find that stock based ROMs are more stable over the more customizable source based ROMs. That being said I have been running Flying Jelly for a few months at a time and personally it has been the best fit for my Bionic. There are a few Stock ROMs to choose from though
