[Q] GoSMS Contact Issues - Captivate Themes and Apps

For some reason GoSMS is displaying contacts' old numbers (which I have since deleted from the Android contacts app when typing a name in the To field. It's kind of annoying, especially because they're numbers which have been deleted for a reason... I don't need to be texting a number that doesn't exist anymore. How can I put an end to this confusion?
--Thanks.

Just tried that, didn't solve it.

Are the numbers stored on your Sim card? All of my contacts are stored on my phone and Sim, so I see double when searching for names.

Wrong contact number

Hi, yesterday I added a new contact into my Nexus. When I went to text the contact later on, the message failed to send. I noticed that I had entered the contact number incorrectly (had an extra 0 at the front) and corrected my mistake. The thing is now, whenever I receive a message from that contact, and reply, it tries to reply to the incorrect number I originally entered, even though there is no reference to it. I have to keep deleting the thread on Handcent, and starting a new one, but it still always messes up when I have to reply to a text.
Anyone know why this is? I tried to delete the contact from the phone, and I get this message: "This contact contains information from multiple accounts. Information from read only accounts will be hidden in your contacts lists, not deleted"
If it's of any help I have nexus one with cyanogenmod 6.0 installed and use handcent and have whatsapp installed as well (not sure if ths makes any difference)
Bump, incase anyone missed it.
Have looked at the contact info via your web Gmail?
When you go to edit your contact, keep scrolling down. Android as an annoying way a merging multiple contacts if they have the same name...

Did that too, as well as contact storage and contacts. It has to be being cached somewhere, but I don't know where.

SIM contacts are displayed partially

Hello!
I'm running GT-N7000 on 4.0.3 stock ROM (N7000XXLQ3 - Baltic).
When I open contacts list from SIM card I see only 134 contacts but there must be 237 contacts (SIM card from my old phone).
Anybody know what the reason of problem is and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
In contacts press menu button you will see contacts to display there you can change settings and you might be able to see all contacts

I’ve tried this but problem still exists.
Looks like contacts from SIM are partially read from the SIM memory but on old phone (HD2) everything was OK.

[FIXED] Taking time to read contacts

Sorry I created a similar thread in the Accessories section.
So I am on stock 5.1 unrooted and it takes forever to read contacts. When I go to dialer it takes probably 40-50 seconds to open up and show my last few calls or starred contacts. At times when I am getting a call it doesnt show the contact name even if I have the contact saved.
Suggestions?
P.S- tried wiping data for the contacts app and even the dialer. No change. Even tried third party dialers. No change
So turns out I needed to clear data of "Contact storage" in order to fix this.
