i could be wrong here but wasn't the full system dump from razr posted over at android central and other places.... isn't it in that? the camera on my bionic was slow to focus and was giving bad pictures, but after installing the leakes i tested it out last night and it was taking quick excellent in focus pics 8mp in near pitch black on my bedroom.
so...
can you post the apk?

better camera bionic
I also tried the leaked .5.893 and it made the camera awesome!
also improved "cellstandby" alot but made up for it with android OS draining battery back to rooted stock but better camera.

You'd also need to deodex the apk.

Both the apk and odex files from the RAZR are in the attached zip. Does anyone know if the faceunlock app will work on Bionic? Also, what is that app called? I can't find it in the system dump.
I tried to install the Razr camera on my Bionic and when I try to install as a normal APK it won't install. I also tried copying both the .apk and .odex files to the system/app folder and changing the permissions and after reboot there was no camera installed on my phone. I now have the stock bionic camera back, but would really like to replace it. What am I doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
if you get this solved let me know, having the same issue but no camera at all
EDIT
This is a solution to it, although the long way it'll work, Unzip what ever rom you're using take out camera and replace with new camera apk and rezip, it's a duct tape fix but works, then reflash rom
Does anyone have a screenshot of the Droid razr camera application? And is there really that much of a difference between the bionic camera and the razr camera?
[edit] Also, would this .apk need to be deodexed in order to install through the android package installer? If so, would it be possible for someone to deodex it and post the deodexed .apk file?

Doing this seemed to freeze at boot logo. So it didn't work don't try it unless you want issues.
The camera interface looks the exact same. I didn't notice any shutter speed improvement over stock 5.7.893.

Very observant.
Actually, it is the same camera from the 5.7.893
You might have to turn it to a flashable zip.

I only used the Battery and Icon mods.
I did have to change the "META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary" file to get it to install.
I grabbed the one out of the radio file that johnlgalt posted in the "[FXZ] Droid Bionic Stock 5.5.1_84_DBN-55" thread.

Cam you have to replace the META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary file in your zip with a stock one.
I attached the one I am using that worked for me.

What are the proper steps to using UOT themes on the Bionic? Anyone have luck using it?

I'm evidently too noob to figure this out. I located the camera app in \system\app but it can't be moved or anything. Probably need to force it through ADP I'm assuming?
I believe /system/app is r/o by default, so you'd need to remount the filesystem r/w before you can make any modifications to the files. Root Explorer would probably be the easiest way to accomplish the task at hand, or of course do it all through ADB....
I renamed the original BlurCamera.apk and tried installing the downloaded Camera, but it says the application was not installed. Originally I tried installing it from my SD card, so I tried moving it to system\app to install it, but I receive the same message: "application was not installed." I renamed the original Camera back to its original name, moved the downloaded Camera back to my SD card, and now I can't even install the original Camera.
So now I'm completely out of a Camera app, lol. What did I do wrong?

Same here. I did try changing the permissions and rebooted. I wound up just doing a clean install of everything because I was needing to anyway. However, I would still like to know why this does not work because I would prefer a camera different from the Atrix camera on Reblurred 2.0.

It's the DX camera on Reblurred. But yeah, I'll reflash this tonight and see if I can get it. I've put several different cameras on different ROMs and never had an issue, so I'll see if I can figure it out.

Most specifically, I want the camera to work. I tried installing normally with no avail and also tried replacing the BlurCamera.apk and BlurCamera.odex in the /system/app folder and changed permissions to rw-r--r-- but after I rebooted there wasn't a camera app at all so I reversed the process with the stock camera and now have that back.
So, is there anyway to make the camera work?

There is only the apk in this zip. I put it in /system/app and rebooted but it is not showing up. What to do? I am new to this stuff so my apologies if I missed something.
The profiles for power managment from the RAZR would be great on the Bionic. Locale does not natively support shutting off the cellular data when Wifi is active.
Is the Profile function part of the Zip?

Yes, the odex file goes in the system/app folder but I don't think it will work on a deodexed rom. Deodexed roms don't have odex files.

Search for Verizon, then click the link for all apps from developer. It's available through Verizon for free. It will uninstall as well, so you won't be stuck with bloatware if you decide you don't like it. I tried it for a while. It's worth is if your not on the Unlimited data plan.
