Hi all i use minicm7 2.2.0 and when i record any film i have lags in recording a video.Is for this any solution thanks.

Yes it is a bug of MiniCM9.
It happens with me too.
Just wait for a new version to be out...

and answering your question, i think there is a mod for a better video quality recording i'll try to find it, and what class of sd card are you using?

There is a config file but i cant remember its name right now.. I`ll search it and let u now then...

/system/etc/media_profiles.xml
This file holds the value how the video will be encoded
Try changing encoderprofile quality.

Meanwhile I'm using class 4 and 8 gb SD card.
If u get the mod please pm it 2 me.

I installed the media values and this do nothing i try reinstall rom.I have 8gb class4 card.

Was just wondering... Maybe using a third party app eliminate this problem ?

Thanks i reflashed the rom and now i didnt have any lags.

[Q] Stock Roms Video Playback Lag

I have spanish stock rom, and when i try to play an mp4 file... 15Mb, 480x270 ... it lags and the sound it's decalated alot !!!
Can i do something about it ?
I have mobo player.
in cyanogen roms i don't have this problem at all...

This obtion is not available in stock roms as far as i know... And i'm on stock kernel...

look in build.prop
media.stagefright.enable-player=false to disable,true to enable

IT's allready disabled ...

I have this problem too. I downloaded and still using 'QQPLayer' and it works smooth as cake...

The problem was that soft decoder was activated in mobo player.
After disable it the problem is gone.
BTW ... i can play full 700MB - 352/640 movies without lag !

Cool.. would definitely try this tweak.. !!!

[Q] Video Playback on CM10

Hi guys
I have a problem with video playback on CM10. I'm able to record in 720p but not able to play. Even lower resolution videos won't play.
Any suggestions?

How are you launching videos? From gallery? A file manager? Straight from MX Player?

i having the same problem as you, i slove it by changing the kernel to Mackay 0.53. not sure what kernel you use.

Hi!
Most of the time I use gallery to browse my photos and videos. Videos don't work either from gallery, ES File Explorer, MX Player and QuickPic. Same result as I open them directly from apps.

I figured that this is a kernel related problem. On stock I'm able to play videos. Semaphore and Devil have problems on CM10. I'm about to try SlimJB and see if it is better.

Hi This I the most annoying trouble for me... ​I noticed that many roms have up to 3 seconds of freeze in Camcorder or lgCamera
I tried to decrease camera quality in build.prop and no results, also ported media_profiles.xml from cm7 no results...
formated sd card and removed EXT4 partition and switched back to stock kernel also no results !!
now I am running Thunder bolt 4 rom and ODEXED it I found that the lag reduced and happens t'ill 1:19 min recording
so please help me to know what is the reason ?​

reboot into recovery and wipe cache partition
then clear data of camera app and i think the problem will be solved

no fc, but When I start to record it freezes in one frame or 2 , when i playback the sound is normal but the video lags at the freeze frame when recorded the video.
I had no force close before

Camera FX doesn't record video ... I have only video recording issue
