I really like Oxygen Rom 2.3.1 and NSCollab 1.0.50 for my Nexus S..!!What i really miss in Oxygen Rom are the CyanogenMod Settings.
Wondering if there is a way to integrate them on the Oxygen Rom..?!What files i have to grab beside CMParts.apk??!!
Thanks in advanced!!
Only way I know of is requesting them on Adam's forum but I doubt you'll get far as oxygen is a minimalist ROM. I would be using it but they removed the theme Chooser feature awhile back which was one of my favorite features.

Can u provide me Adam's forum link please!?
If someone else has an idea I will be more than happy on testing it.

John griggs carbon rom IMO is the best of both worlds. But no cm settings there. A lot of the good stuff has been left tho, but somehow its still very lightweight.

I could really use someones help!
-Thank you

Did you download the right one? There's one for the RC and one for the nightly.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Yea I'm sure I did I actually tried flashing both! Lol! Like honestly I'm just trying to get that framework of that theme were everything flips open when you hit the menu button and etc. That's pretty cool and thats pretty much all I want

I have free time on my hands again, and I feel like releasing or updating my old themes to fit your new guys' needs. I dont want to theme for a rom that no one uses, which just makes my time wasted. Let me know which rom you guys use the most. Im guessing its cm7, but I just wanna see. Which rom to do it on, now that there are so many options. Give me your feedback.
Forgot to Include Nameless, let me know if you use that.
You guessed right for me....cm7

You should get into MIUI. Not sure about CM stats but the Fascinate is like the third highest in users of MIUI, plus the Mesmerize and Showcase. And any theme you make can be used on any MIUI device through theme manager. We could really use some good themes, there are like three or four devs that actually keeps theirs updated and only a couple are good.

I didnt really plan on theming miui, wouldnt really know where to begin. Im sure its alot different.
Well it would be a nice learning experience....I hear it easier than porting others

Definitely cm7 theme chooser themes, it would also get your work out to a much broader audience. You do good stuff.

if you choose to do cm7 themes, you have to (well really should) make either t/e apks or source build
I have no idea what the hell you just said nitsu. .
As for doing cm7 themes, I know how to just edit the framework and systemui's and then you just flash my file and it overwrites cm7's. I have no idea were to begin on doing themes that show up in a theme chooser.
Miui.

I plan to learn theme engine theming - I could possibly help you learn as I learn
Another Fascinating post by my XDA app...
I would prefer something for ComRom 2.1 if you don't mind. I have enjoyed what you have done for EF and run one of your themes now. Many would benefit from Comrom 2.1 IMO, just my 2 cents.
Were u talking to me? If so, id love to learn. If u have time please hit me up on gtalk or email. [email protected]

Yeah Skynet, It would be great actually. Miui theme engine or cm7 theme engine, it would give me something to do, No point in theming this phone anymore when its been taken over by miui / cm7. I would just theme cm7 but with nightlies it would be a pain. Let me know how you make out on your engine theming, im interested.
My votes for cm7.
Edit: Im on MIUI now lol, so do what the community thinks

Could someone enable landscape support in the new ics launcher? The early sdk builds supported it but all the aosp build do not have it. Why google wouldn't enable this from the get go is beyond me.

Give this a try, it's the launcher from aosp's ICS build for the 4G, it has landscape enabled maybe it will work for you.

Good try but that didn't work either. This one installed fine but landscape is a no go.
I think I'm going to be stuck using launcher pro. I was so hoping google would get it right.

I'm running hawk's Ecliptic Rom and elemental kernel. Is there a mod out there that allows for scrolling wallpaper like CM? I know that an aftermarket launcher is likely an easy answer, but thought I'd ask if any one knew of an alternative.

Only thing that I know of is the custom launchers, but if anyone could help you out I would think that hawk could answer this, it is his Rom. I would post this in his forum

well, depends on what you like, if you like alot of customization, tranquil one would be your choice, if you like stock then there are a couple good ones here, hell they are all good as far as sense roms, the cm roms are buggy. eclipticone is a good choice too. team nocturnal has 2 good roms as well or 3, i like the black sheep rom.

ViperROM is very stable, fast, and just plain good. You can download it from GooManager and flash it without using your PC. It is a Sense ROM. I would highly recommend it.

I'm not really liking that everything is dark and blue. And the widgets look strange. Also it wouldn't let me do a speed test or get on xda

And you do know you can make the whole rom transparent with a button push in the tweaks (either go to settings and go to tweaks or by long pressing the settings in the dropdown

I agree, I can't get into all the inverted blacked out apps either. But if you want a stock themed rom I'm running "Stock with goodies" and I'd also recommend "OMJs Rom" both are great.

They are both great, and both have the enable back button for menu, EQS toggles in the pulldown shade and removed the power saver icon from the pulldown. Those are the 3 main reasons I wanted to root my phone.
