GT540 Kernel 2.6.29 v0.3
Changes from 0.2.2 is not much, but they are:
- Fixed 600MHz, now lost productivity, no
- Improved stability of the overclock.
- Changed the table of frequencies: 729, 748, 768, 806, 825, 864, 880, 892, 900.
For those who have been found 0.2.2, Update.zip not necessarily put.
P.s with 2.2 is not compatible! For version 2.2 will be a little later.

Will this reset all my fastboot and recovery on quarx black rom 2.1 or does it just mess with kernel and also will all my apps and settings be ok?
Thx sorry for noob question ant seem to find the answer
It won't change anything beyond cpu frequency (if you will set new). And works good on Quarx's black ROM.
Just make a nandroid backup before.

OK - Installed and running at 900. Everything seems stable so far. Big wow on the performance.
Now - to JIT or not to JIT? - that is the question.
how you can run on 900MHz ?
@hani93 There is possible only for a fwe phones.
@maxgreece mirror links no JIT IMAO
it would be really good when all phones can run 900 too
How to turn it back from 900,cause my phone is freezed

nice design. this is file for recovery?
It would be great if you made a theme for 2.3 or at least for 2.2 but for 2.1 ... It's an old fashioned firmware ...
Otherwise - great job !
Yep. this is update.zip for recovery (up to 2.0.1.8)

Nice work dude!
But, you should soft-mod a 2.3 ROM according to me, because everybody is using 2.3 now, not 2.1. Anyway, I really like your theme.
I still use 2.1(stock rom lol), but with Quarx kernel and JIT mod. I prefer 2.1 for some reason (although I have used SwiftDroid and OpenSwift) but i've always went back to 2.1.
Try this rom
does this really have JIT? I installed it but the score in Quadrant is as low as any other 2.1 (without JIT).

Yes it is clear. CM7 use kernel 2.3.7.
This is 2.3.4, which is stock kernel
ok i install this kernel on zeus 6.3n. i know, that was madness.
seem to work, lg bootup, but when i switch screen on home screen, was laggy, even how to set the 1300 MHz which cpu master.
test in Quadrant in 5 round per row show only max 1056 points.
I tested about 20 minutes, so the more I can not tell

It works fine over V20O and Q as far as i tested no heating but more speed!
i can confirm this kernel is good enough for me.
scaling/governor: performance;
I/O scheduler: sio
check the CPU SPY screen shot.
the cell mainly stays on the minimum scaling when not used, which is very essential for the battery.
overall, the performance is snappier than stock (obvious thing)

whenever i am tryin to OC on the default kernel of Suppressed ROM...it doesnt work...whenever i slide the MIN CPU to 1000Mhz using SetCPU, the CPU becomes 300Mhz and i had to pull the battery out to reboot then slide it back to default MAX 1000Mhz and MIN 300Mhz..
so does this kernel like really solves this problem? and how do i install it?

yes it has.
How's Smartreflex and MPU? You can check via dmesg. If something shows "hub_opp_init: MPU does not support XXXX MHz" then you have a problem. frequencies may show but there would be complications on voltages.
The slowness is via DVFS IMO. better use init.d, "scaling_max_freq" for OC.
Hi,
Here is an OC kernel for you to try. The max cpu frequency is overclocked to 2.35 Ghz instead of 2.15 Ghz. The stability is not well tested but i could play 20 minutes of Asphalt 8. Note that benchmarks does not seems to profit a lot from this overclock, i guess the thermal engine is always optimizing speeds no matter what. That's said i can say that for general use i can feel a little difference.
To be flashed via TWRP recovery (this is for 7" hdx, thor)
Changelog
=========
- v2 : actually include the oc kernel
Awesome! I'm gonna try it and report back
Awesome!
You should consider adding more CPU governors too.
I flashed it, but should I see the change in the tweaking apps? No Frills CPU Control and Trickster Mod still report 2.15.
