Is anyone working on a rom for this.

I'm using thriller currently but the Dev for it no longer has a thrill.

It appears that in the "Development" Section that there are a couple new ROMs available, still waiting on my personal favorite Cyanogenmod to become available for the Optimus 3D (which is the sister phone for the Thrill)

What rom would anyone suggest I use
I mainly want 3d converter tethering mms and 4g
If I could post in the development section I would ask the starters of the threads if they are still working on them

Well you will be hard pressed to get all that, you want converter you will have to install o3d rom but, you will lose 4g and have to setup apn for mms, someone is working on getting all that fixed up right now. Converter only works with I think v10j and v10k based roms, all thriller are v10e. J and K versions are O3D only. All custom roms come with tethering

We're putting together a team Armageddon style to work on Dev. But instead of roughneck experts, it's mostly adventurous rookies. Gah I need a jacket patch for this!!!

Ya, I've been following yalls thread, thinking of downloading the tools to my unbuntu netbook to play around with stuff.. not really any free time to do some real dev work but I learn more by fiddling with stuff anyway..

seriously you're gonna ***** about it? why dont you build a ROM yourself if its so easy? the devs are doing great work on this phone, and if you are gonna cry then go back to stock and leave the forum for everyones sake.

Personally not a fan of Motorola anymore. Can't deal with locked bootloaders. Have had almost every Motorola phone on
Vzw.
Not the x2 tho.

You can always get the LG REVOLUTION. It has an unlocked bootloader. I had it and don't see any advantage for the typical user if the bootloader is locked or not. Developers will develop for whichever device they want, regardless if its locked or not. They're some pretty smart people, so getting past a locked bootloader is something that can be done.

How do I go about getting Liberty rom? I keep seeing andirc, but cannot find the site/rom etc. Would anyone have a direct download site as I would love to get rid of theory rom and try something different.

Kejar doesn't want any direct downloads. Just open irc andirc.net and channel #bionic. If you can't do that honestly perhaps you shouldn't be romming...

Download Rom Toolbox from the market. It was recently updated and now includes liberty 48.

And quite frankly, the quality of the currently released ROMs is very high for the time they've been out. Our devs are doing top notch work. If you don't like it, get a different phone.

Exactly what I was thinking lol. Typically defending would imply we are presently under attack or the person is stationed in the place they are defending.

There are numerous screenshot/capture apps on the market... if youre running ICS you can screenshot on the D3 by simultaneously pressing and holding the volume - & power button for a couple seconds.

Droid 3 Froyo theme

Hey, does anyone know of a Vanilla Froyo theme for the Droid 3? About to get this phone (don't like/want the Droid 4) and I hate how Android has moved away from the stock icons they had (like the green messages one) and the grey connection icons, battery icon, white status bar and the white/grey window shade.
Seen one for the Droid X but can't find one for the Droid 3.
