Hopefully this simplifies things for those of you that are trying to get Gingerbread installed. If you need screen shots for certain parts I will try to help out.
Watch Video and follow steps above "http://youtu.be/ExwoHC5pOiQ"
To get back to stock just use the V10e .fls file and then load the stock rom from CWM recovery.
For factory stock try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1270832 after the baseband is restored
Files you will need to Flash Baseband from Froyo to Gingerbread and Back http://www.mediafire.com/?c2i2f4c9sz8u8z2
Froyo baseband for Brazil below. Might help users not getting signal in Canada or Latin America.
Just for the record, I'm not taking credit for anything other than just putting the information already out there into simple step by step directions that I used.

Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA App
Did you use superoneclick to root it? And do you have cwm? If you do odds are your rooted! Btw I'm loving GB super fast and smooth. I'm using coh'a lite rom instead of the Acura one the only problem I have with it is that Swype keeps force closing so I had to install some other swipe keyboard from the market, but its not a bad tradeoff

We should use XP to flash bootloader rather than win7, shouldn't we?

WARNING: Internal SD content will be erased
To begin with go here and download the ROM of your country/region
Secondly download smartflash and drivers from here and install them
Now run SmartFlashTool_P990.exe
Turn the phone off, remove the battery and connect the phone to pc via usb while holding down the vol.down button.
Now you should be able to see the software upgrade screen, and COM port of smartflash will change automatically.
Now in smart flash select "ROM Copy D/L"
Make sure that "Normal Mode" is checked and "Erase Cal" is NOT checked
In AP Bin click browser and select the (BIN) file
In CP Bin click browser and select the (FLS) file
Click start, sit back and wait
I'll try to remember next time that I return to stock rom record it and upload it
Here is the video I said i would record

My SIM work in another phone and another SIM work in my phone.
I try to flash all the other baseband like 208, 318 or 405 but each time the problem is the same, i have no network.
I don't know what to do.

Sent from my LG-P925 using XDA App
I downloaded the file from Lg Server
Followed the guide on how to install a KDZ files (link posted above) thanks to adixtra
When the phone rebooted it when into a bootloop so i removed the battery put it back on and went into recovery (volume down + 3D button + power button) wipe data and factory restore
reboot the phone and now I have gingerbread
did a superoneclick root access to gain root
installed CWM again
added the APN's and did a titaniumBackup batch restore and now everything its working and with the nice features
working on a rom for the thrill to add windows FX and other things
Are you able to go back to stock froyo afterwards? All features work? 4G, gps, mms, etc. Also, will there be a need to go to stock and grab the OTA gingerbread update for the thrill when it is released? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can go back to froyo just by doing the exact method but selecting the KDZ file for froyo.
ALL the features works (this is the live official update LG is pushing to european handsets) i have tried everything on my thrill and its working. (As I said before I can't test 4g so you can go ahead and try) obviosly have to set the APN lists manually because you are flashing a debranded (optimus 3d) firmware instead of the AT&T
I suppose that AT&T will release the Official Thrill firmware in the first week of december but unitl then you can install this update risk free and have the advantage of running the new gingerbread roms without going into the hassle of flashing the baseband alone with an XP machine and all that hard work.
Anyone else has installed this on there Thrill besides me? someone in the US so can test the 4G?
I am thinking about doing it. But don't wanna get stuck because I am new to android and I am going to be getting a new phone thru warranty. I figured its perfect to try since i will be replacing this phone anyway, just wanted to make sure I could go back to stock first. Maybe I will try it tonight. I am currently running "Thrill Seeker" custom rom. Do I need to go to stock before doing this?
Edit: also, sorry if this is a stupid question, but does this come with 3D converter?

Still can't connect at even 3g at home with the new 920 update. So I doubt 4g will even work

Dear friends,
I tried to install by this method but did not continue the installation. There was a message "there is sufficient charge in the battery, recharge the device to continue", the battery has 80% load, it is normal that message appear?
This rom is for the LG Optimus 3D P-920. She will work on AT & T P-925?
There is no risk of brick the device?
I need install something before? (baseband, kernel, etc.)
I was at 72 when I started. Went fine.

Well, after flashing last night and spending some time using it, and getting some calls, so far so good.
Everything seems smoother overall, with less freezes. App compatibility seems better, and there is a definite difference in battery life.
Call quality and signal strength seem overall about the same, bit I thought it was pretty good before. Not quite as strong as my Atrix in bad areas, but not enough to bother me.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is 3g, or fauxG if you want to call it that. We have edge only at home. When I go back to work Monday I will be able to test that.

There is no need to install anything beforehand the KDZ file has everything needed although it is recommended that after flashing to do a factory reset through recovery. It is in deed for the p920 but it works as well for the p925 although some users report the signal drops a little for the 4g although it works. Everything else function pretty well and most important battery life is longer.

If you have CWM you can try this:
-Charge the battery to 100%
-reboot to recovery
-wipe battery stats
-retry to apply the KDZ file

Get rid of rom manager. You do not need it. There is no good that will come of it. To many things can go wrong lol.
Use the all in one, it has a reboot recovery option now, after installing and it reboots, select reboot recovery. If it goes into it, then you are all set.

You do not have to wipe data, it is an option if you want a clean start. I would run your phone as it is for a couple Weeks and if it acts up, then consider a data wipe when other options have been used.

How many threads are you going to start about your issue? I see another thread titled "Now what?" Keep it all here!! Goof!!
Hey, first time poster long time reader, not sure if this is correct spot for this question but i will change if needed.
I currently downloaded cyanogenmod 7 which i am using now on my Lg Thrill, but I want Thrillseeker or thiaiz 03d rom, so that i can use my 3d features on my phone. So i installed thrillseeker rom, and thiaiz, and both i cannot connect to my data, this was the only problem i found with both, i tried to go in and change my APN settings but was not allowed, i believe i am in need of baseband V21e, therefore i am trying to figure out how to get V21e on my thrill, any help would be great and appreciated. Thanks
Same question here!!!!
I read and read and read ... I found couple European v21E kudzu files. Are they safe to flash?
What is the easiest way?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks man! And this is answer to my own question
I was reading that guide before and last night decided to try... It works nice! I couldn't run vbs script (for stupid reason drag/drop of vbs into cmd din't work) so did manual adjustment to hosts file.
The kdz file I downloaded was Greek one But it was easy to navigate to language settings and switch to English.
yes, after flashing kdz phone went into boot loop but I fixed it by booting into recovery and doing factory reset (I found it using search for that tread - you see, I used search!!! .
Then I rooted it with megatron and now in the process of flashing custom ROM.

alright bad news, i had CWM installed and had Cyanogenmod backed up, i tried this method you just told me, did STOCK RECOVERY
rebooted my phone, now im stuck. can't mount cache/recovery/command. when i go into my boot recovery its now different, i can't boot from my sd card, or use CWM, when i click recover stock i get an android icon with a exclimation mark over its head in a triangle and cannot go any furthur, if i just let it boot up, i get the lg screen, then that goes away and im left with a black screen,
what do i do now? this is not looking good

hmm...
I just followed that guide and it worked for me...
Did you have touch recovery? There was warning not to use touch recovery...
Can you go into recovery? (3D+vol_down+Power)
trying again now, my phone wasn't in download mode, was just showing up in device manager because it was on, i now have it in download mode and hopefully all goes well, i will get back to you
On the "Select Country & Language" box, click "Clear phone Software udpate Registry" when i click select country and language, there is no clear phone software update registry....
and when i go into the recovery (hold 3d buttom + vol down) its a different boot screen then i used to have, something about cache, command and log not being able to locate or somethin, my clockwork mod previous recovery that had cyanogenmod7 on it is not there anymore, when i restore system and wipe data i still cannot go any furthur, just a lit up black screen like
i also tried the boot recovery but it is now changed since i rebooted after the first step, it says something about cache log and command, not being able to be located or whatever, *not working* and my restore i had saved with clockworkmod (cyanogenmod7) is also unavailable
also lg mobile support tool says im up to date
GOOD NEWS everything worked perfect after, i am back to completely stock, that was fun, your method worked perfect, it was just me not being in download mode that messed everything up at first, THANK YOU, you were a great help, now to root again and get my programs back, let the fun begin again! haha

OK, now it's my turn to cry...
I'm in Canada. I installed Greek version of v21e. Then I rooted with megatron and installed ThiaiZO3D ROM.
And now I have problem with my basebands... Here we use WCDMA 850 (band V) and WCDMA 1900 (band II). For some rason I lost my 850 band...
I read that I need to install proper baseband. But how can I do it?
I can go into Hidden menu (3845#*920#) - Network Mode and select WCDMA 850. Then I go into Modem Setting - Engineering mode and still can see UMTS_Band_II...
Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!

I'm looking for V10E KDZ file
Hi. I sick of my Thrill 4g AT&T.
So, I want to downgrade GB baseband to Froyo baseband.
I searched many times and found it but links are broken or no more files there.
If you have V10E KDZ file or konw its location, would you let me know?
Thank you.
I've run the LSA firmware with little to no issues for a while now, but recently my phones decided to run hot and reboot itself with increasing frequency.
so I'de like to revert back to stock ICS and see if that helps or if I'm looking at a hardware failure.
is there any particular trick to this or can I just backup using Ti, load the new (old) ICS firmware in Odin and flash away?
thanks for any advice guys...
How old is your phone? Make sure your battery is good condition, before proceeding anything.

Nov 2011 (just over 12 months)
the battery is a Gold higher capacity model, there is no bulges or tears and the heat isnt coming from that, I pulled it to check. the glass side is the hottest side.
Good. My suggestion is, go through drketan threads / tutorials which are comprehensive on your problem.

on the problem or my intended solution?
I've started uninstalling apps because the thing reboots during backup.
every-time i uninstall an app it reboots as well.
If you want to go back to ics, backup whatever you want using tb.
Then boot into recovery. Format/system, data, cache, preload.
Then go to advanced and choose reboot download. Then connect to pc and flash using odin. Make sure not to wipe while on stock ics kernel. Install a safe kernel ASAP.
