Flash new ROM via Fastboot or any other method

Hello,
My trackball does not scroll down, so I cannot use the recovery mode to update to new ROMs.
Is there any way to flash new ROMs via command line on my pc ?
Ishan
Use clockwork recovery and navigate through the recovery with the volume buttons
"back" option = power button
"select" = trackball press
btw, can't you scroll UP instead of down to select it? atleast this is how it also works on clockwork recovery. like a loop, you know?

I am using Amon RA 1.7 . It allows you to scroll down using trackball and defaults at reboot phone. So I cannot do anything with it.
I will try clockwork recovery. Thank you.

[Q] Can't boot to stock recovery.

I flashed I9000 and now I cannot boot to stock recovery to apply the update.zip. Any ideas? Holding voule up and down then holding power dies not work... just switches back and forth between the samsung and ATT boot logos.
you can find two apps in the market that will help. Terminal Emulator, intall, open, grant su permisions and then type su >enter< reboot recovery. Or another app even easier, Quick Boot only three options with this click on Recovery.
The recovery mode won't work unless you have the correct kernel anyway.
First get the one-click odin stock flasher then get into download mode by holding the down volume button, the home key, and then press power (so you're holding all at the same time). It should put you right into download mode.

If you flash darkys rom you can access recovery and download mode by using the power button, like when you get the option to either power off or reboot. Don't know if thats any help but i said i'll truy.
Thanks for reply.
But if you can boot, you have adb access, and it is easy to reboot into recovery ("adb reboot recovery").
The problem is that I just "corrupt" my rom and I can't boot. My phone just loop over boot screen.
I can boot into "download mode" and flash with odin. But I would boot in recovery and flash with an "update.zip". That why I want to know if I can have an "adb" access or other access throught download mode (and reboot into recovery).

[Q] Stuck in Steam Recovery

Trying to put CM7 on my phone. Loaded the zip and now I am stuck in Steam recovery. Reboot system now is highlighted, but none of the buttons will work to move to any of the other selections and it will not reboot. Use the 3 button method but it just loops right back into the same Steam Recovery screen that will not do anything. Is there anything I can do?
Get in download mode (volume down+power button+power button) and flash rom via odin
