[Q] What are these annoying things??? gah!!

I've wiped the entire phone twice now - once my the one-click factory default, and once by flashing stock rom/kernel/etc and wiping all data before and after, including both caches and the dalvik...
Look at the attached photo. W.t.h. are those??
They show up on messages, load bars, contacts, phone calls, etc...
These darn things will NOT go away!
I am now on Unleash the Beast 0.2 [root + sideload enabled, busybox] w/ battery and blackbar mods.

Someone in another thread said they were from another launcher. Since you have a different font, your phone is not 100% stock - what is installed?

This is the other thread.
It looks like a font/theme issue to me and not something to do with a task killer.

Actually looking closer it looks like the font lacks certain characters and the default character is a bunny, either that or for some reason a period is a bunny character.

True, sorry I forgot to mention that I reverted to an older restore after the restores didn't work - I have ADW.Launcher and a font [akbar? or something] installed and not in use.
-----> I will uninstall these asap.

Sir, you are brilliant. I do believe that's the case! If I'm not mistaken, I got it from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=759642, which has a compilation for the Vibrant...
The different device explains the difficulty, and the user-forged font explains the bunny, or whatever.

The second of the two links fails, but the first one gives you a page with a adf(dot)ly/Ws23p link which works just fine. (edited as XDA doesn't allow direct posting of those redirects. Worst case, I'll re-upload my own copy of it with MailBigFile for you.

Me ha funcionado con el segundo link por el que preguntó el amigo anterior !!!
Bastante dificil y engorroso conseguir el paquete ROM para el p-800 LG 4X HD ..... de la version Jelly Bean android.
En mi caso, porque dañé irreversiblemente varios programas del sistema operativo y fue una debacle.
Gracias a "" jamesclinton "" !!!!!!! por su aporte en DAR el LINK para poder bajar el ROM mencionado.
En verdad, da gusto conseguir personas que, desinteresadamente, colaboran con otras alrrededor del Mundo.
Por mi parte lo pondré tan pronto aprenda a hacerlo en la red.......el ROM V20B.kdz ....

Hi guys,
I'm really a noob, so please don't go crazy for me asking...
I searched the forum before posting this reply, but I couldn't find a good answer:
Which KDZ do I need for my phone? I bought the phone in Germany, as it was much cheaper than the country I live in, Belgium. But which KDZ do I need? The German one, or the BENELUX one, or should I opt for the Europe Open one? To what does all of this have impact? Baseband? Or is it for languages?
I started to read about this because I have some serious roaming issues... I'm sorry if this is of topic, but I'm really confused on how all of these things are connected...
In Belgium, my provider is Telenet, but this is a virtual provider. They use the Mobistar network. Now, whenever I go abroad (it doesn't matter which country) I can not connect to any network! I've contacted my provider for this many times, but they haven't provided me with a descent answer.
In the beginning of the year, I had another provider, and then I didn't have any issues with roaming however... So here is what I have been thinking (I'm getting embarrassed already): Maybe I need the Benelux firmware because just maybe it includes some settings for my Telenet provider, things I need so that abroad I can connect... Pfff, I'm lost.
So, for your information, some information on my current configuration:
Baseband info:
LGP880AT-00-V20b-EUR-XXX-JUL-17-2013
I'm running CM11 nightly 20150119, but until end of December, I was running the stock ROM (I guess it was the German one), and had exactly the same issue. So I ruled out that it has something to do with Cyanogen mod.
Can someone please describe to what extend the firmware version can impact my roaming problem?

Hi all, I should take a xperia z but without the box and receipt. Does anyone know any way to test it via imei?
Like for example for the iphone are the imei check, but I do not find for this xperia z.
I do drop a sheet of declaration of sale indicating the price. But to avoid problems and much prefer first check it before.

To check the imei number go to dialer and put *#06# and you will see your imei number!

You should always IMEI Check a refurbished phone before you buy it. There are some free IMEI Checkers but the few that provide accurate results will only tell you if a handset is lost or stolen.
I suggest a Full IMEI Check in order to reveal SIM Lock, Blacklist, Contract, Warranty status, cell phone's specs & more.

What's main problem? You can't change time, select alarm or something else, change volume etc?
Thanks again i am looking to install some samsung like rom to my sisters phone because on 5.1 she can't make SD card as internal storage. Is that possible with this rom?

The samsung dont allow to make sd card as internal storage.
The main option of im install custom roms to use this feature but no one rom have it

You can do it with Root Essentials

At this moment i have installed Resurrection Remix and i done that with SD card. But rom is terrible to use with a lot of problems (camera, wifi, stability, etc) so this would be got alternative if that option is possible.
I read that this is possible in any Android system starting from 6.0 Marshmallow.

Clock: When setting Alarm,The app crashes which makes the app unusable
Volume just has a weird GUI glitch. It still works well
And for the SD card, No.You can't make it as Internal. Gonna try doing that in the next update

I have an idea! This systemui is for GraceUX. So maybe we can put it in RE Rom and solve The flickering and the lockscreen problem too!

Medtronic minimed app on Android 13 on Pixel 5

I use the minimed application from Medtronic to check my blood sugar. Does anyone know if the Minimed app works on Android 13? If not, upgrading is a showstopper for me.
If the app just starts without saying it is impossible to run it will be fine. If someone wants to check I will appreciate it very much.

It does not work. It blocks you at startup (ask me how I know ).
I was trying to manipulate the APK last week to bypass this, and while I succeeded at bypassing the version check, I couldn't get it to actually pair with my pump, so I gave up.

Does not connect to Medtronic servers on my end as well. I did the stupid thing and updated without even thinking about the Medtronic app... The alarms and notifications were really handy on my pixel 6. (780G)

Same here. I knew about the app not working but wanted to try anyhow. But now I'm back with Android 12 and have disabled the notifications about new update. Guess it will take some time before Medtronic update the app.

Today I received an update of the MiniMed app. Can someone who already upgraded to Android 13 check whether the app is working now?

It's been working for a while. It didn't need the app upgrade.

Hello. My Samsung S20 5G upgraded to Android 13 yesterday and the Minimed mobile stopped working Unsupported Android Version unfortunately the app does not work with Android 13. I found this thread and followed the link and now have a working version on my phone perfect and thank you! the next question is my wife same phone also upgraded and she uses carelink connect to follow my ups and downs but it now shows the not available on Android 13 message. Hi guys, maybe you can help: I have a Sony Xperia 5ii that is on Android 12 and the Minimed Mobile app does not work. I did however work 2 updates back + my phone on Android 11.
What I already tried: installing the first (1.1.1 version, and actually all versions I could find), where the app continues after version check (yes!), but then the pump cannot connect Bluetooth (had this issue already at the first release).
Also tried the above "patched" APK but there the error that the app does not work on A12.
Since my phone will not get an upgrade to A13 (and no stable A13 AOSP versions available), I am stuck... Any suggestions? I am amost that far to buy a new phone ONLY for getting Minimed Mobile to work again (especially with the link to Xdrip and my Garmin devices during mountain biking and trail running).
